I have an older car that doesn't have this built in feature. Love the blue tooth so you can get your phone calls right through the device. Still learning all the features. Wish it talked more like my older model. Maybe I haven't found everything on it. I missed a few turn off on the highway because it didn't remind me . Nice big screen. Love that.TomTom GO 620 6-Inch GPS Navigation Device with Free Lifetime Traffic & World Maps, Wifi-Connectivity, Smartphone Messaging, Voice Control and Hands-free Calling

YouTube video online was miss leading! TomTom 620 is a great gps HD screen, voice commands work well and had split screen for details lane change assistant when complex intersection ahead . Most disliked features is on every trip I need to disable the toll road! Other than that I am very happy with this TomTom go 620.

I have always liked the TomTom GPS. I find the real time traffic updates far quicker on an actual GPS unit than it does on my phone and this helps me avoid the headaches of Boston traffic. I got this unit to replace an aging 520. I love the larger screen on the 620. The WiFi update is great. I am just starting to use the voice control and am beginning to really appreciate it. I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone looking for a GPS.

Nice GPS however, the voice control leaves much to be desired. I almost think you’d have to be in a completely quite environment for it to work properly which in a moving car is impossible. Some of the features from my older TomTom I miss like the ease of adding stops along your way. So far I have yet to figure this out, so I will continue to play with it in hopes that it’s a feature hidden somewhere & I just haven’t found it yet.

This is the best car GPS I have used. I've used it in the US, France and Iceland and had no problems loading the maps I want via Wifi. I always save addresses for traveling in Google Maps. Now I copy and paste them into my TomTom MyDrive account and they are automatically added to the GPS. The interface is easy to use and routing is very good. I connect it to my phone via bluetooth while driving for live traffic updates. It does take several hours to upload maps due to the size, but it's all done via wifi so not a big deal.

I ordered this GPS for a road trip I was taking. I ordered it thinking it would take me from point A to point B without using my cellphones data. Well it does so much more than that! The smartphone functionality is great - I can receive incoming calls without worrying about digging into my purse to retrieve my phone. I can read text messages all while staying focused on the road. For me, as a young adult, I happy to say I was very pleased with the features in this GPS. The traffic routing feature is pretty cool, too. Helps you avoid hold-ups.

We got this model to replace an old Magellan GPS and definitely gives it a thumbs up, excellent product & price Tom Tom. The lifetime map update is great for us. We used in the USA - a little delay with distance & stop (about 200 feet delay of actual location - noticeable at turns or stops). European maps are quite accurate and easy to download and use. Got us to where we need to go and reroute as needed. Good complement to Google Maps, can skip one or the other if no cell service on phone. Did not have any issue in remote areas such as the German Alps or certain midwest USA locations. Have not used other continents maps. Good job Tom Tom.

I like it. It works perfectly. Battery it is good and last 1 hour straight without powering off. I drove to Canada using the gps, unbelievable it is awesome, clear road traffic with more info. You can pick up a call without torching your phone just by the gps.

Got this for my vacation to the old Yugoslavia. Deleted Canadian map (temporarily), to make room on the hard drive. I went all over all 3 countries. It knew dirt roads... lots of dirt roads. Really great GPS. Saved me from having to know how to spell towns in Croatian or Bosnian (car had GPS in the dash). Saved me from having to use my cell phone when out and about. It did not know exactly where our hotels were... put in address, but it said address did not exist and brought us to wrong place. Brought us to the closet address it knew to exist. Needed to use cell phone to get exact location, especially in Bosnia. Not upset about that. Luckily had cell phone, and my friend understood Bosnian.

I bought this GPS with the free WW maps for a trip to Europe, and I could not be happier! It was super easy to use, and to connect via its built in wifi to download the maps I needed and get updates. It also performed flawlessly during my trip to Spain and France. I drove over 1100 miles over my 3 week trip, and this GPS didn't skip a beat. It kept us on track and let us enjoying the scenery knowing that we were in good hands. I highly recommend this GPS!
