The Anker PowerLine+ II Lightning Cable (10ft) that I purchased is absolutely fantastic. If all products were built like this, then washers and dryers would be handed down from generation to generation. This thing is built like a tank. Every cable here at El Rancho Relaxo has been wrapped up in plastic spiral cable covering to keep the inside pets from chewing on them. We didn't bother even wrapping this cable. The cats came over and had a few chomps on the cable and gave up trying to kill it. This is GREAT NEWS! From now on, when I need a new cable for something I am going to check out the Anker catalog first. This cable has made a very positive impression on me. It has passed the cat test.

LONG TERM REVIEW: I purchased this long cable for my bedroom (and the shortest model for my car) December 1, 2017 and it has held up amazing since the day I bought it. It’s sat in my wall, been thrown in a bag when I travel, it’s been yanked out of the wall, tripped over, pulled out from under heavy objects, etc. I don’t take care of my daily use cables. To me, they’re expendable, standard wear components that I’ll inevitably have to replace. Anker, however, seems to disagree. This cable has withstood every single piece of abuse it has ever endured without a single failure. The only time I have issues with charging is when Apple’s awful lightning jack design does not allow the cable to seat correctly; an issue that I have with every lightning cable no matter how much I clean pocket lint out of the jack.

I use Anker lightning cables exclusively. They have a durability that Apple's OEM cables simply do not. They come in different sizes, and unless you get the grey or white color cables, they don't look like you dragged them through a septic tank like Apple's cables do. They have a premium quality feel and look unlike most other third party cables. On top of being universally better, they are cheaper too. I have had about five or six of these cables in varying lengths and colors, and only one ever failed on me (the lighting bit broke off). This cable has done nothing to change that impression. Highly recommended.

Purchased this cable because of the quality I've come to expect from Anker products and because of their warranty to stand by their products. Love the long 10-foot length for use in the living room on the couch and the braided exterior blends in nicely. While I don't have any special apps to test the charging power, never noticed any slowness charging our various iPhones, iPads and AirPods. Cable is very sturdy and stood up to over 18 months of daily use between me and my wife before it started to fray near the lightning connector. But no worries with the lifetime warranty as I submitted a claim on the website, only requiring a few photos, the serial #, and my order number and a replacement was shipped to me in a few days, no questions asked. Can't go wrong with this customer service and warranty.

My teen is hell on cords--she breaks them in every way you can. This brand seem to outlast her better than others. I think they also charge our devices more efficiently. The 10-ft. cord is great because it means that she now doesn't have an extension cord dangling down the side of her bed (and under the linens). I've always worried about that being a fire hazard. Also the extension cord put pressure on the charger cord, which broke tiny wires, which ruined the cord. The 10-foot charger solves these problems AND it's Apple compatible. UPDATE: I've bought these cords for everyone in my family over the past 3 yrs. Just this week my 15 yo daughter managed to wear down the connection between the cord and the plug--it was still operable, but I was concerned about a possible fire hazard due to exposed wires. I sent Anker an email with a picture of the problem, a picture of the item number on the cord, and a PDF copy of my Amazon receipt, along with a request for replacement via their lifetime warranty. The next day they responded and said the item was being processed. We received it within a week! This was a 100% no-hassle warranty situation, which I greatly appreciated. So, my best suggestion is don't remove the little tag on the cord that has the item number on it--it will be invaluable down the road.

When I got this cable it was working like a charm. Unfortunately the product stop working for some reason but I contact the team to find out what could be done since the cable didn’t wanted to charge the phone . They contacted me by sending a replacement but before that i had to sent the cable that wasn’t working to them and they sent the label for I can send it back. After talking with them for a couple of day . They were able to send me a new cable within a week. Their customer service was really helpful and nice to me after the cable went bad they took care of me. I highly recommend the cable . If something happens don’t hesitate on sending them an email. Their team would help you out. Just be aware that you always will need the serial number that the cable has . It’s always important and try to take care of it since with the time it can come off or the numbers can vanish too! Thank you guys once again. Specially to Yvonne for taking care of me on this case.

Originally purchased an Anker 6’ cable to replace a cheaper version from AON which died after 6 months of use. These Anker cables are a much higher quality material and far more heavy duty so I am hoping they last much longer, but with a lifetime warranty, I figured I could t go wrong! 3/4/28 update... one of the cables no longer works. Going to contact company and hope warranty is as good as they say! Will update with response soon. 3/8/19 Update: received new chord with zero hassle and so far it appears to be working.

In a house with two kids l, two dogs, two cats, and countless iOS devices... we burn through lightning cables quick. I’m always on the lookout for a DURABLE cable, which I prefer to be 3m (~10ft). This is that cable! Right out of the box it looks stylish and feels like a tank. After a few days of use I can already tell this was worth the money. It’s especially noteworthy given the Ankler Powerline 2’s most direct competition comes from Otterbox, who are no slouches when it comes to survivability. Time will ultimately tell, but I think this is AT LEAST as durable and lasting as the Otterbox. I’ll update this post in 6 and 12 months with an update.

I initially ordered this cable in early 2019, and used it with no issues until about a week ago. During this time, the cable was taken care of fairly well, getting rolled over by an office chair a couple times, but nothing beyond typical wear and tear. I always noted the quality of the cable as it felt thicker/sturdier than other cables I've used in the past. A bit more than a week ago, I found that the cable was failing to deliver a charge for longer than ten seconds or so. After troubleshooting with replacement power bricks, devices, etc. we isolated the issue to the cable. I quickly Googled "Anker Warranty" filled out the form on Anker's website, and within a couple days I was told my replacement cable was on it's way. The process was painless, and a bit faster than other warranties I've claimed in the past. A couple quirks to the process: 1) After filling out the initial form on Anker's site (providing proof of purchase, etc.) you'll receive an email ticket that asks for very similar information. You can just respond "Yes" if you already provided the info in the initial form. This context is somewhat buried in the automated email, so wanted to call it out here. You do not need to re-submit all the info again. 2) The replacement is shipped directly from Amazon, in Amazon packaging. This is threw me off a bit when trying to find my package in my apartment's delivery closet. While this may not always hold true, if you're looking for your replacement, it's likely coming from Amazon. These are very minor quirks, and especially the first "issue" could be resolved by Anker simply re-arranging their customer service emails. I'm hoping this cable lasts longer than the ~18 months my last cable did, but if it doesn't, it's great to know the warranty process is simple/painless.

Great product! It took almost three years before mine started to fail on me. I use it heavily with sweat and water also hitting it regularly during exercise. When mine failed, there was no hesitation to order another. My use was beyond normal, and it held up its end of the transaction for longer than any other cable out there. I have six of them throughout the house, work, and car, and they are all going strong!
