Great for both cats and dogs
My puppy is the messiest water drinker and this thing is perfect. My kitten also loves to knock over her bowl and play with her food so this keeps it in one spot and has slowed down her playing lol. Amazing quality and I love the little paw print!

Great product, but a little cramped if you have bowls designed for large dogs.
Awesome dog bowl mat to contain some mess. Durable, aesthetic, and clean looking. The only issue I have is with the size. I have two large dogs with large dog bowls. A water and food bowl on the mat together is a little cramped. Not the product's or manufacture's fault, just not as roomy as I had hoped for. Still a great product that I would highly recommend.

Mess free food and drink area!
I have an ornery cat that likes to push his bowls around the kitchen when they're empty, eat and drink with his paws instead of his face, and makes an absolute mess of half of our kitchen as a result. This mat solved all these problems! The material is skid proof so he can't move his bowls, and it catches 99% of the food/water spills. He's just as messy but it's easy to clean up now and we aren't slipping and sliding around the kitchen or stepping on food (dry food is as bad as legos!). A+++

Fabulous buy
My kitten is a VERY messy eater & always “digs” & “scratches” everywhere around her bowl so food scatters all over the floor. This mat is great! It didn’t smell funky when it arrived (yes, some stuff I bought has smelled awful), the bowl isn’t able to slide & knock over, & it is water resistant so it’s 100% easy to clean. It doesn’t roll up around the corners like some mats I had so food won’t get stuck underneath it. LOVE & highly highly recommended

Very nice
My first thought upon opening the package was that it was much thinner than I thought it would be. But after having it out all day for my kitties, I realize that doesn’t matter. I do wish it had a little bit more of a lip around the edge, but I’m already surprised at how much water is getting sloshed around that it catches (that was previously soaking into the floor I guess?). Long story short, I dig it. Would buy again. Would recommend to a friend. Two thumbs up. You won’t regret this purchase.

Works perfectly
I ordered this mat to put under my cat's water and food bowls. It's great! Just the right size, nice quality silcone (flexible and soft). Even the blue color is pretty. I used to use a plastic trash bag plus a washcloth under his water dish. Still, somehow, water would get on the floor. He's the only cat I've had that slops large puddles of water every time he drinks, plus manages to spill his dry pellets out of the bowl, too. Then they get soggy in the water puddle. I don't know why I didn't get this mat a lot sooner! I still use a washcloth under his water bowl , which is soaked every morning. With the mat, it's a snap to wipe up the water and replace the washcloth. No more messing with - and wasting - trash bags! No more soggy food!

Doesn't slide around, catches water spills, easy to clean
This bowl mat is great. I use it under two bowls for a medium sized dog, and they fit well. The lip is not high, but definitely catches the usual water spills. I like that it isn't bulky (and ugly) like the hard plastic mat I used to have, and it's so easy to clean. The bowls don't slide on it, and it doesn't move around on the floor.

Works for me.
It's a silicone, low profile mat. I liked the first one so much I bought a second one. If it didn't have a paw do-dad on the edge I could think of many other places to use it besides on the floor under the cat dishes. (Now that has given me an idea - I may just cut that little doo-dad off anyway because it gets in the way. Cool!) It's interesting that it comes in several colors, I bought the grey because it is neutral and it costs less than the other colors. I've just read other reviews where they say there is an odor - well, I just bought two in the space of a two weeks and there was no odor at all. So I don't know what those people are on about.

A perfect solution for messy kitties
Perfect. This silicone tray is exactly the right size for my cat food bowls/tray. Perhaps my kitties are more slovenly than most, but I was getting tired of my countertop being littered with bits of food that escaped them. Not to mention the drips of water found everywhere. When it gets dirty, I can dump the contents into the garbage, and wipe it clean easily. No hard edges to bother the cats or hurt their paws.

My dogs don't like eating from their bowl, so I bought a mat
Background: My dogs don't like eating their food from a bowl, so for years, I've used this plastic food mat. It was good at first, but it eventually became old and brittle, so I decided to get a new one. I figured that I should get a silicone one because its known to be more resilient and easier to clean. Pros: - smooth silicone with a medium low friction coefficient (rubbery enough not to slide around the floor, but smooth enough to not burn against skin if rubbed against) - decent size, enough to fit food and a bowl of water with some room to spare - has a raised lip around the outer rim of the mat to allow for easy lifting and prevent the suction effect Cons: - a little bit smaller than my existing mat, but still a good size I've added my old mat as well as a picture with a soda can for size reference
