Works great. Pairing to the Bluetooth was new to me, but easy enough. Only had to do it one time. Love the colors. Even with the lights on I get through the day without a second charge most days. The only down side is being able to use only one Bluetooth devise at a time.

I purchased this item when my Microsoft surface broke. I was told the connection pins on the tablet broke and buying a replacement keyboard would not solve the issue. The cost to have my surface repaired $450. Looking to not spend that much to have the tablet fixed I came across this keyboard. I have had it for about a week and have a general idea of quality of the keyboard. Pros Attaches to the surface through a magnet and does not fall off Island keys that make typing easy and comfortable A very long battery life Easy to use Bluetooth connection. Automatically connects after first connected! Genuinely reminds me of the original surface keyboard Cool lights are a plus Cons My only issue with this keyboard is the touch pad. Is is not very smooth, a bit loud when you click. My biggest issue with the touch pad is it has a bunch of different swipe functions, so when I just try and move my mouse i'll accidentally minimize the page. All in all a good keyboard, I would just consider getting a wireless mouse too. 4.5/5 stars.

I bough this with my Surface Pro 4 and it works great. I initially had a defective one shipped from Amazon, but I contacted Fintie directly and they replaced it quickly. It has a nice feel to it and connects quickly.

Perfect fit - bluetooth connectivity is excellent so far. I may be missing something not getting the Microsoft made cover, but not sure what that would be. If you bucked up for the new Surface Pro this is a good way to save a little cash on accessories.

So far I love this keyboard! All keys appear to function properly. Backlight is great for when I'm doing some late night software development in bed. Keys have good clearance/movement. No issues thus far with Bluetooth pairing. And may I just say. . .I'm not terribly worried about battery life--as on the side of the Surface, there's a USB port, which can be used as a charger for the keyboard, which is just awesome ;D Now...it's still early on. I will revisit this review after a few months to update. Fingers crossed that this keyboard will last me a good while :)

This keyboard looks and feels just like the stock keyboard, which stopped working on my computer after an update broke the drivers. I bought this one, received it quickly, and connected it up right away. It came with nearly full battery and as of right now, I've only charged it once in months. I did turn off the backlights to maximize the battery life, but it's nice not to have to worry about charging it! Best of all, I can separate the Surface and keyboard still type (i.e., with the keyboard in my lap), which I couldn't do with the identical Microsoft version. I wouldn't go back to the original keyboard now even if it started working again!

If your keyboard looses its Bluetooth connector, which I guess is common... this keyboard will do the trick!!! It’s blueyooth and has its own battery!!! The mouse pad is really sensitive. So if you are typing you really have to pay attention, if you are typing with two hands, to make sure the cursor is where you want it to be. That would really be my only complaint, as this has happened to me so far several times. As for pairing to my surface tablet... so easy!!!! It recognized it right away and I was using it literally in one minute! Overall recommend it!!!! It’s great!!!

An excellent alternative to the Surface Pro screen cover. The only drawback would be that you need to charge it periodically, but so far, it is holding up very well. And it looks great too!

Like several reviewers, I also didn’t want to spend the $$$ for the factory version and wanted a more cost effective option. Haven’t had any connection issues and the keyboard is as responsive as it should be. Haven’t felt like I’m constantly recharging it, so I guess that means I’m satisfied with battery life. A good buy in my book

Nice keyboard, I do not have the issues with the touchpad that others have described here. Keys are comfy with good tactile feedback, not as good as the original case from Microsoft of course. All keys work fine so far. One small issue is the down arrow key that sometimes you need to press twice. However, this is 3x cheaper than the original.
