Classic baby toy

Thirty years ago my daughter had "chirpy bird" and the toy from F/P still lives in our attic. This toy from Hape is slightly smaller, well made with the classic sound. It is a great gift for any new born.

Great for tummy time and crawling

Got this yesterday for my almost 5 months old. She got se excited and played with it for a long time. It's great for tummy time and get baby to crawl. She tried to follow it today while giggled and laughed. Very good quality, too.

I HAD to buy another!

I have twin grandsons who were born 4 months premature with brain bleeds and disabilities. I was looking for something that didn't take batteries. They have lots of electronic toys to sit and play because they aren't very mobile yet and they both love the soft tinkle and rocking motion so much I went back and purchased another!

Favorite Toy So Far ...

I watch my baby granddaughter every week and wanted to get some toys to stimulate her interest in tummy time. She was four and a half months when I purchased and is almost six months now. In particular, I was looking for a toy that had a nice chime sound and this penguin fits the bill. I'm pleased she enjoys it immensely, reaching for it first above all others. I do agree with one reviewer though, it might not be a safe toy to have around if you have a toddler brother or sister who's excited to help bring toys to baby since this has more heft than most toys.

Cutest move and prettiest sound

Cutest toy. My daughter (4months) loves it. The hands swing as the penguin waddles and it makes pretty ringing tone. It’s really awesome.

Cute

Baby loves it. Makes a nice chime noise. It is super heavy and could hurt a bit if baby fell on it or if it went flying (as things do go flying with babies learning how to use their hands). Just be sure to supervise.

A quality toy. Great as a gift.

I bought this little guy as a toy for my 9 month old. It is as cute as can be and the melody is charming. At first he did not play with it much but as time went on it has became one of his favorites. He loves to tap it and giggle. Older children that visit seem to like it even more and Carry it around with them. He is a quality product and I can imagine him being around for years to come. This is a product that I will go back to as a baby shower gift.

Good quality, 4 month-old approved!

My four month old nephew loved this penguin and the noises it makes!! Very sturdy, good quality and no paint chipping or other hazards as of yet.

Great toy, bells sound lovely!

My son’s favorite, he just loves this penguin! The tinkling of the bells is very tolerable and pleasant, unlike a lot of noisy baby toys. It’s cute and easy to roll around for him to chase after. Very well made, instant hit!
