Answers to questions
I read a lot of reviews of a lot of these devices, and I got this one thinking if it’s terrible for such a good price, I’d send it back. My questions, and others, were not easy to find answers to, so I’m going to give as complete a description as possible. Is it stiff? Very. I think it’s made from a piece of heavy gauge wire since it’s not a sectional gooseneck. That’s fine. Once I wrangled it to where I wanted it, it was perfect. I appreciate that it’s so stiff and durable. Does it wobble? Yes, I got the one with the long neck because I wasn’t sure how I was going to set it up. Glad I did because it gives me lots of possibilities. Once I got it within easy range of my nearsighted eyes and where my bad arm didn’t hurt poking out my letters, it’s perfect. All I need to do is gently hold the corner of the iPad to stabilize it, whereas I was wrecking my hand holding it rigid while I wrote. I am, unfortunately, pretty addicted to this iPad. I’m a 62 year old lady who is disabled and watch the world through my iPad. Hence screwing up my hand after years of holding it one way. Is it easy to install? Unbelievably easy. Are the parts good? So far, perfect. Believe me, if there’s a problem, I’ll be updating this review. Does it hold the iPad mini well? Yes, it has a spring loaded clasp that is angled in such a way that the iPad can’t slip out. It has plastic teeth that hold it without harming it. The clasp took a bit of practice getting the iPad in and my fingers out, but I won. Does it swivel? Yes, the clasp moves around almost like your hand on your wrist. So if you get it in the general area where you need it, you can then adjust it to exactly where it’s perfect for you. Is it in the way? I was worried about that, but it is so easy to take off the table that setting it up and taking it down are effortless. It’s so rigid I just put it on the floor next to the bed when not needing it, then it’s just the same when I clamp it back on. Worth the price? YEAH! Please ask me any more questions here and I’ll answer. I’ll check each week. FINAL QUESTION: Was I asked or paid for this review? Not at all. I just like to review stuff I get on Amazon. Thank you for reading this.

Tablet mount
I’m very satisfied with this product... so satisfied I’ve purchased more. I use it to mount a 10” kindle, to read electronic sheet music. I also really enjoy mounting it to my bedpost to watch films from bed. Holds tablet very securely; easy to swap out tablets; also securely and easily mounts to furniture.

I Absolutely Love This Thing!...... Finally, I Can Lay On My Back..... I'm So Very Happy.......ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz...........
I absolutely love this thing! Every night at bedtime I read and watch movies on an iPad mini (in an Otter Box), sometimes for hours, . I get tired of holding the iPad, especially watching movies. The Otter Box has a built-in stand I used to put the iPad on a nightstand. But that meant lying on the same side facing just one direction. It was uncomfortable and frustrating. Finally, I can lay flat on my back! It's so much more comfortable, and surprizingly, I'm sleeping better. The whole thing is a bit strange looking, astronaut like, lying in my Serta Command Module, control screen hovering overhead. I was extremely skeptical ordering. I expected a plastic piece of junk that would break five minutes out of the box. It's not junk at all. The solid clamp tightens more than enough. The thick flexible cable is impressively sturdy. The clamp squeezing the iPad is as tight as a mouse trap. I read reviews saying the screen shook each time the bed moved. Mine stays clamped to a piece of 1 x 4 that I lean against the nightstand. It sets up and puts away under the bed in seconds and doesn't shake at all. I wish I’d bought it sooner. Thank you!

Better than a neck pillow!
I can lay down and play switch without straining my hands or neck. I LOVE it. I can watch tv while playing games in bed. I have it attached to my table by the side of the bed and it does not really get in the way when I dont use it. I would recommend this over any other one.

Fantastic
I love my Switch. It has great games that look nice in handheld mode, but not so much on a bigger screen. The problems are that handheld mode cramps my hands terribly. Fast-paced games that require lots of quick presses of the shoulder buttons shred the joints in my fingers. I'm not even that old, the Switch is just too thin to hold and play without pain. While I could get a shell to fit around it to add some extra volume to grip it easier, that doesn't resolve the shoulder buttons being too close together nor change that the sticks are too small and the range of motion do not feel precise. I tried tabletop mode with a Pro Controller, but that requires sitting a box on a table and the Switch on the box so that it is at eye level and hunching forward to have that beautiful screen in my face...lots of neck and back pain after only a few minutes. Tryone's Gooseneck solves all my issues. The screen is right in my face on the couch, in a chair, or in bed. Always at a perfect angle. No pain or discomfort when using a Pro Controller. The clamp fits perfectly on a tv tray. The tubing is strong enough to support the Switch without wobbling as long as you don't bump it or the tv tray. The mechanism that holds the Switch itself is very secure without damaging the system. It does not block the air vents, speakers, or USB C port. It requires you to take off the joycons, but aftet listing my many complaints about them you know I dont miss them. Ikaruga is a shooting game added to Switch that offers verticle mode to stay true to the original, and this gooseneck can easily rotate to accommodate this need. The Switch could be a real blessing for fans of this kind of game that cannot feasibly turn their tv on its side for this mode, and with this gooseneck it really is the ultimate way to play them. I have bought way too many products on Amazon ovet the years but Tryone's Gooseneck has been one of the best. I cannot speak to anyone else's specific needs when it comes to Switch gaming, but I can now enjoy mine to the fullest extent pain free for long sessions and could not be anymore satisfied with what Tryone has sold me.

better gooseneck and better holder
I have had a few different tablet holders. The old ones are done, all broke and failed. This one has a stronger base clamp, better gooseneck and better holder. Yes, it does bounce a little, but it's the nature of the item. If you don't want it to move you'll need a stand thats not flexible and on a floor stand. I don't find the bouncing to be a big deal, it stops quickly or just touch it and i'll stop moving. Now if the kids and dogs are playing on the bed, you may have a problem reading.!! I bought mine, wasn't a compensated review and i'd buy it again. I was worried the lock nut would fail or crack and so did they, as there was a second one in the packaging.!! Thanks!!

Used as phone mount above bed -- I'm scared my phone is gonna get snapped in half one day though!!
So, I haven't been re-twisting or contorting this one on the regular (I would imagine that eventually it'd lead to it breaking a lot faster than if you tend to keep it in the same shape) but it works as you think it would. I do wish they made longer ones than this, but this was the longest I could get, and it does say the length in the description so its fine. I haven't tried using it as a Nintendo Switch mount yet, but I would think that would work out too. My only gripe (which hasn't actually occurred) is that the clamp seems like it is so resistant when you first open it up to place your phone inside that I feel like the force of it acting back on my phone every time my phone is clamped in there will eventually crack the phone. I'm not good at physics or anything so who knows, maybe that will never happen. But its a bit unsettling.

Works Perfectly
So far so good. I use it mainly with my Nintendo Switch so I can play for a little while when I get in the bed. It works exactly as I need it to. I am concerned about a few things, though. First, the clamp and also the nut that holds the tablet part to the gooseneck are both made of plastic. It's heavy-duty plastic, but I'm concerned that over-tightening may cause damage to the plastic. The instructions do warn about this, so as long as you're careful you shouldn't have any issues. It does however come with a second nut in case the first one breaks. Second, I have it set up so that I just have to bend it in one area of the gooseneck to put it in the position I like and to also move it out of the way. I do wonder if repeated bending in one specific area will degrade the product over time. So far it doesn't seem to have made a difference, but I will continue to pay attention to it. My two concerns are really more about the longevity of the product, and so haven't caused any issues whatsoever. And since it does exactly what it says it's supposed to (and it does so really well) I'm giving it a full 5 stars. If something changes I will update this review to reflect that. But in conclusion, it's a great product. I do hope it lasts a long time, and there is no indication yet that it won't.

I have the HD Fire Kindle which can be a little heavy when constantly holding in while reading. I purchased this stand and LOVE it. I have it attached to a small table that works great. I am really happy with this stand and definitely recommend your product. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to post my review.
