If you want polarized lenses while retaining the 80s retro feel at an affordable price, this is the sunglasses to get. Great at preventing sun glare while maintaining a classy look Glasses has a good grip: The sunglasses will stay on your head, and will not fall off due to gravity when standing up straight and looking down at your feet. Frame feels solid, and hinges are very sturdy Seeing that the lenses are polarized; it will not do well when viewing OLED screens either on your car dashboard, smart phone, laptop, etc. as it will make the screen appear blank until you pull down the sunglasses. LED screens can be viewed just fine although a bit dark Overall, for the price it's an excellent buy

No apparent downsides so far. They seem sturdy, look nice, are functional, and they come with a nice pouch. The hinges were too tight out of the box, but I loosened the tiny screws with a knife and it's perfect now. You CAN see your eyes through the lenses a bit on the Tortoise shell color option, but I don't mind. They're also big enough to accommodate a decently sized head. They're not the best glasses I've ever used, but for $7 you can't go wrong.

Great sunglasses for the price. Sunglasses arrived and were just what I was hoping. Great, lightweight, good looking, polarized sunglasses for a very good price. They are not the quality of other name brand sunglasses but, good news, they are $120 less expensive. These are going to be my back up shades I leave in my car. Yes, I do wear extremely over priced sunglasses every day. These Polarspex shades are perfect for me when I don’t have my wildly overpriced sunglasses when I’m out and need them or doing something active where I don’t want to break or lose my $250 sunglasses. And this happens a lot. First day I received these glasses I put them in my car. That day started off very cloudy. I leave the house with no shades because it was raining. Two hours later it is full blown sunny. When the sun is out I have to have sunglasses. It’s like I’m a vampire. I’m outside a lot and when it’s sunny and I have no shades it’s almost as if I can barely open my eyes. It’s from years and years of always wearing sunglasses. So it becomes sunny and I am without shades. But wait a second....... open my console and put on the Polarspex shades and I am more than back in business. Absolutely just what I needed. I highly recommend these as a secondary pair of shades if you are an idiot like me and have numerous pairs of way too expensive shades. If you are smart these would absolutely fit the bill for primary sunglasses. I’m just heavily invested in my other shades or these would be my primary sunglasses. Five Star purchase.

I bought these for my husband as a Christmas gift, so I feel that I can write a fair review 4 months later. First of all, I love that I was able to find these in a matte frame (I got the gray frames with the "smoke" lens). I feel that any face shape and gender can rock a retro wayfarer-style sunglass, and these definitely fit the bill. I would suppose my husband has an average-sized face (is that a thing?), and he's had no issues with the fit. The earpieces sit where they should, and the nose piece doesn't slide down the bridge of his nose. He's not the type to be gentle or handle these type of things with great care, so I imagine these have been tossed around a bit and they're in good shape...no popped lenses and busted earpieces. These came with a little snap-top carrying case, which has come in handy. It's soft and flexible, but seems to do a good job protecting the lenses, and keeping them from free-floating to the bottom of a backpack. He's happy with the polarized lenses, and we live in snowy upstate NY, so these have come in handy while driving and snowshoeing. They do an awesome job of reducing any glare off the snow. We kayak in warmer weather, so I imagine these will come in handy when we spend time on the water. I like these enough and husband raved enough that I bought my own set. Glowing reviews all around and I would definitely buy more frame colors and funky lenses.

Love these shades. Got the tortoise colored frames with olive lens. Very happy with my purchase and the lenses are truly polarized. I especially like that the lenses are "normal" sized. I.e. they don't look small to my face unlike some other wayfarer style unisex glasses. I love that the plastic nose piece is made seamlessly with the rest of the plastic frame and sits comfortably on my nose with hours of use. The glasses are light and since the nose piece has enough surface area with my nose, even after hours of use I'm not left with a heavy imprint on the bridge of my nose. I'm personally not a fan of nose pieces that have the malleable metal to assist their position because they invariably get distorted in my pack or from something hitting the glasses while I'm wearing them. I accidentally left them behind at a hotel while traveling Spain and immediately reordered a pair. Glad that these are so economical to purchase!

ONE STAR THEY BROKE WHEN I SAT ON THEM, JK. Well, they did actually break when I sat on them, but who cares, they're CHEAP! Took these on vacation, broke them, bought some replacements at Target for twice the price that sucked in comparison, came home and bought three more pairs to break, eventually. Are these going to be mistaken for Ray-Bans? Not really, the build quality is not as good obviously, but you can buy fifteen pairs of these damn things in every color combo for the price of one pair of polarized Wayfarers. Comfy too, honestly better for long wearing like extended drives than my Ray-Bans, so I carry a second pair in the car for just such occasions, because they're so damn cheap. Love these things.

When I first put them on I instantly knew that I found the perfect pair of sunglasses. I’m a big guy and it’s hard to find a nice pair that doesn’t squeeze my face. The product arrived very promptly through prime as expected. It came in super nice packaging, the wrapping and presentation was phenomenal. Even a nice thank you card with a smiley face. I can appreciate those little things, it makes you want to come back for sure. The glasses came clean and ready to wear. No visible scratches on the frames either. As one reviewer mentioned, the arms are a little stiff - making one handed use a little difficult. However it is stiff in a way that portrays a high level of quality - the hinges feel like they’ll last the test of time. Lastly, polarized lens are not always a good thing. They DO make driving during the day super clear and crisp. HOWEVER, most newer cars today have digital speedometer clusters, heads up displays, and center consol entertainment systems. Having polorized lens can make it slightly difficult and annoying when looking down to view those screens. Other than that, this is a phenomenal product and company. Five stars.

First of all let me say that I'm not one to write reviews for products I purchase from amazon, even if I do love the item. Always felt if I'm spending my money on something, I should be pleased with the purchase anyway, so what's the big deal? I was so pleased with these sunglasses that I found it imperative that I change my tune. I'm legally blind and find it hard to travel anywhere well lighted, without experiencing severe discomfort. Yes, the doctor has recommended I wear sunglasses all the time to protect my eyes, but I hate looking like the stereotypical blind-man. You know with the large, dark, ugly sunglasses dominating most of his/her face? Then I came to Amazon hoping to find the perfect pair of sunglasses that would not only protect my eyes from harmful light, but look nice. I just got these glasses via UPS about 2 hours ago and they've not left my face since I put them on. There so light that I barely know they're on, in addition, they fit my wide face perfectly! Feel very well-constructed too. Haven't experienced any eye discomfort at all traveling indoors or outdoor due to bright light. Best of all, I've been getting compliments from everyone I've encountered about how nice they look on me. Are you kidding ne? Can't believe how lucky I was to come across my dream sunglasses on-line. All based 100% on customer feedback to boot? Thank you Amazon for creating an on-line shopping resource so simple, "That even a Blind-Man can do it!" Also want to thank the designers of these incredible sunglasses. Once I get my hands on some extra cash, I'll be back to pickup some more pairs in different color frames. If you are in need of some affordable sunglasses that feels good, protects good and looks good... these are what you want.

Traveling on dark country roads, I was experiencing eye strain from oncoming headlights of other cars. Bought these and boy am I glad I did! Takes all the harshness out of headlight glare. Eyes feel better.
