You need this if you own and Arlo Pro or Arlo Pro 2 and using your camera for the exterior of your house.
I'm so happy with this! I previously had the Arlo and it was great not having to wire the cameras but it would be a hassle buy and replacing the CR123, they're all so pretty expensive. My house is over my garage and it's not easy to change the battery of my exterior Arlo camera. Arlo made a smart choice going to rechargeable batteries. Now that I've upgraded to the Arlo Pro 2, I've made it easy for myself not having to constantly pull out the ladder and taking down the camera to charge it for a couple of hours only to go back up the ladder to put back the camera. If you own an Arlo Pro and plan on using your camera for the exterior of your house, get this! You can thank me later.

Works great!
I was skeptical with all of the bad reviews but decided to try it anyway. This solar charger works extremely well. I hooked this up to my Arlo Pro HD at 8% battery remaining. While it does not charge quickly, it does charge about 15% points a day. The solar panel gets about 5 hours of good sun per day. My camera now just hovers at 100% every day without worry. I'll be getting another one for my other camera.

Awesome right now, we will see how long it lasts
I ordered theese solar panels despite some of their reviews and I have to say I am very happy, once I figured out that you have to adjust the solar panel to get a southern view it has been fantastic, charged a pro 2 12 percent on a overcast day in December in 3 hours(without the southern turn it wouldn't even raise it a percentage point. As long as they last for a good while I will be happy, will update if they start to fail

Great Product works like a dream
I have purchased four (4) of these for a vacation home and each work as expected. They keep the battery charged, the Arlo app sees the charge connected and my batteries can last through extended periods of rain, cloud, evenings and even tropical storms. The panels do need to be mounted facing most of the daily sun, but after that you don't have to worry about changing your battery.

Only these genuine solar panels seem to work without side effects.
Bought these genuine solar panels because I bought "compatible" ones prior. They didn't work properly. Loud buzzing heard while doing live viewing. I installed these Arlo Solar Panels and Perfect. No buzzing and camera is registering as charging. It is 36 degrees now and they are registering as charging. Happy with my purchase. Price little steep (75.00) but as long as they work.......

Allows for advanced features while charging!
I installed one solar panel to test how effective it would be at charging my Arlo Pro-2 cameras. I have them mounted outside on trees looking at my house, instead of mounted *to* the house looking outward. The unit charges my camera from about 10am to 6pm and keeps the camera fully charged. While the sun is hitting the panel, my camera gets to use the advanced features like 3-sec playback from motion detection and activity zones. I can also set it to the highest resolution and not have to worry about battery drain anymore. I threw away the crappy little screws the unit comes with and instead used #10 diameter head 3.5” long Spax construction screws. I drilled pilot holes in my tree (a large oak) and mounted the cameras and solar panels this way. The mounts are robust and the screws will never fall out. We have had some intense wind storms the past two days with sustained winds of 30mph and gusts over 45. If you mount any Arlo product outdoors, consider getting improved screws for the project. I will definitely be getting another solar panel for my other tree cam! It’s not in the open as much but I’m sure it’ll eliminate the need to take down my camera to charge every few months. If you get more than four hours of DIRECT sunlight you should be good to go. Aim your panels south so they get maximum exposure throughout the day!

This is the real deal, works great!!!
Works great. I put on a camera that was totally dead. This thing brought it back to life immediately. The batteries were fully charged after a week, and this was while the camera was being used in a pretty active parking lot. I purchased the off brand to try and save some money. Don't make my mistake, purchase this one. The off brand actually discharged full batteries on two different Arlo Pro cameras within 2 days that were sunny. BUY THIS ONE!!!

Plenty of power
Keeps the camera charged. Nearly a year of using these, and have yet to have one fail, regardless of the weather or season.Good quality mount.

Does what it's supposed to
These are pricier than the knock off brand that is supposed to be compatible with the Arlo pro, but I went with these because of the mixed reviews on the other ones. I have this facing due south on a camera that works on a schedule (i.e. only when I'm not home for the most part) and it took a batter that was at 50% and over the course of a week brought it up to 100% where it has stayed.

Working Great.
Have been up for two weeks and so far have worked flawlessly thru several rainstorms. Nice not to have to worry about recharging my camera batteries. Update: I have purchased and installed two more of these and all are working great.
