Good deal

This clock movement worked nicely for me. It saved my wife's wine bottle wall clock she bought at a Florida resort sovenior shop. The change of the movement is relatively easy and the hands are interchangeable with the old clock hands. Therefore I can preserve the original clock appearance without any noticeable difference from the outside. Just need to make sure the shaft length matches your need. Thanks.

Excellent clock replacement

I used this to replace the clock works on my 94 year old Mother's clown clock. I didn't use the clock hands that came with the replacement because they were too large, however the original hands fit fine on the replacement. Very happy!!

Great movement replacement

Great movement replacement. 2 things: - there is NO METHOD OF DIRECT HANGING on this movement. Unfortunately for me, I didn't catch that in the description. - no selection for hand color as in description (black or white). They came black w/ aluminum back. Perfect otherwise.

Great pendulum strength

An old Youngtown movement lost pendulum power. another make of movement I tried would not even swing the pendulum at all. This movement swings the pendulum right to the side walls of the pendulum box . It is a great replacement. Very fast delivery

It Works!

I purchased this kit to replace the mechanical parts for a clock with a pendulum that was no longer working. The hands that came with the kit were too short based on the size of the original ones and because the original hands didn't fit the mechanism I "Macgyvered" the replacements by removing the gold center piece of the original hands, placed them on the bottom of the replacement hands after making sure the holes were the same size, cut off the excess on the new ones because it wasn't needed, then gorilla glued them together. Also the piece that holds the pendulum was about an inch shorter than the original and couldn't be reused with the new one due to size so I reshaped the top of the pendulum to make it a bit longer. It's hardly noticeable because it's doing what it's supposed to do. It took a couple tries before the clock was keeping the correct time because the hands were bent a little with all the finagling but it's working perfectly now. This was an inexpensive fix for a clock that had been sitting idle for a few years and I'm glad I was able to fix it. I only say it was not easy to install because I had to reuse old parts (hands) but the mechanism it's self works just fine.

Perfect replacement for the pendulum movement that an artist had installed on a glass-art clock. Quick delivery. Took about five minutes to install ... a 7/16" socket wrench made it easy. Hint: Remove the original movement from your clock, measure it, and compare it to the photo in Amazon listings. There are several different types; for instance Pendulum? Hanger hole? etc.

This was just what I needed to fix my wife's grandmother's clock that she inherited. It was not working when we got it. I decided to tackle this past week. The hands where too long but were very easy to snip with pliers to the perfect size. I had to paint the hands as they were black but this was very easy with a paint pen. My wife and I are thankful that we were able to fix this family clock.

Works well came with instructions

When my wife painted the wall our Allen Designs Frog Fly Pendulum Clock by Allen Designs (sold by amazon) stopped working. I teased my wife I would throw the Frog Clock away, but instead I searched the quartz movement by part number on Amazon. The instructions are very helpful. The rubber washer was not needed and I used the hands that came with the Frog Clock that I carefully removed. To install I tightened the nut with my finger and thumb, carefully pressed the hands on at 12:00 installed the battery and it works. I hope it lasts for at least five years, but $10.99 to replace the movement is much better than $64 for a new Frog Clock when the movement died. I put a piece of aluminum tape where the pendulum goes to prevent erosion. This replacement part was not quite as well made as the original I replaced. It lacked the fabric to help remove the battery. I am very pleased with the product and the service. I will update if the movement dies or does not keep time.
