I bought this to cover a small window in my front door. When you stood in the front yard you could see up the stairs and into my bedroom. I looked at the home improvement stores and they had decorative window film for $25-30. I ordered this film instead and am so glad I did! It is 1/3 the price, looks great, and was easy to install. I was too lazy to get a spray bottle of water so I just used a damp paper towel to wipe the window before putting it up. Just an FYI, I thought I received the wrong product when I opened the box. It looked like plain squares instead of colorful ones. When I put it in the light I could see it refracting the colors. I’ll attach pictures. I definitely recommend this product and am looking around my house wondering what else I can put it on.

So I had to cover side windows around the front door since our bedroom door looks right on out to the front. (Tired of showing off my jammies to the neighbors haha) I was nervous that this would look like the ones from home improvement stores that look cheap from the inside and don’t truly mask the interior. These are fantastic! During mid day, there is a very subtle holographic rainbow glow to it. Very classy. It blurs the inside during both DAY and NIGHT. I was begging for reviews to post day time pictures from the outside as well so I’ve attached mine. It is great because it’s not a sticky mess to apply but it took some more time to work out the bubbles. But it’s really neat that if I ever change my mind that I won’t have a gooey mess to clean off the windows. Will be ordering RabbitGoo again!!!

We live on a corner of a busy street. Wanted some privacy from people and cars and this works perfectly. It creates shadows inside at night with the lights on. You can see movement but not definite images. Still lets in light during the day and when the sun shines through, it does create a rainbow effect. It's very pretty when done right and does not look cheap. There are many patterns to choose from but having squares makes it easier to cut and fit. I'm very pleased with the result and am posting before and after photos. The pictures don't really show how good it looks. Fyi, I've used a different pattern on a textured bathroom window that's right in the shower and have never had a problem with it peeling or coming loose. It gets wet and is still sticking after 3 mths of everyday use. Follow the directions, that's the important part.

I applied this to a second story closet window that faces the street. As long as you follow the directions this product is pretty easy to place on the window. I took extra care to make sure that my measured margins were exact. That step really helped with the application, and because of that, I didn't need to trim off as much at the end. The soapy water really is the trick to getting the film to stick well. I actually used a squeegee that we use for the shower/window cleaning to remove the bubbles under the film after it was applied to the window. The film works very well. It does provide a level of "privacy", but it isn't completely "private". If you are stark naked in front of the window at night with the lights on, people will be able to observe that you probably aren't wearing clothes. They will not be able to read your "I heart Mom" tattoo that you have on your butt cheek though. So, let's just call this "semi-private". I am happy with the product, but I have no intentions of changing in front of this window with the lights on at night. It fulfilled my need to make my closet window "semi-private".

This window film looks amazing in day or night. The glittery pastel colors shine so pretty. I used this on my bedroom windows and now ordered more for my sliding glass doors. The film is easy to use and instal was easy once I got the hang of it. Please note the film is stretchy so if you instal the film and cut to fit while on the window like me then please look at the video I added. The film does stretch so when I did the first window I pulled the excess with one hand and used the razor knife to cut along the window with the other. What happened is my line didn't turn out exactly straight and did not line up perfectly with the edge of my window because when I pulled the excess with one hand to cut I stretched the film. The line I cut would have most likely been ok but being OCD it drove me nuts knowing it wasn't a perfect cut line. Lol...so on the next 3 windows I used the squeegee to hold down the film while I cut around the window and it worked perfect. Do NOT try to stretch the film to line up perfectly in place because once it dries it will shrink back up to where it was to begin with. When you do your first install you will understand exactally what I'm talking about with it being a little stretchy. The film is super easy to install and can be reused as stated. I removed the first strip I cut from one window and put it in another with no issues. I also bought the "Gila Window Film Application Complete Kit" off Amazon as well for the install tools. This kit comes with premade window film spray, squeegee, trim tools, lint cloth and works great. You will love how this window film looks after installed. I've got tons of compliments on this window film.

Pretty easy to install. I tried using a hobby knife to trim the excess at first which did not work very well. Scissors worked better, and the square mosaic pattern makes it easy to cut straight lines. Some of the corners are starting to peel, but it's not that noticeable. Just be generous with the spray bottle when applying, and use a credit card to smooth out any bubbles. It doesn't block much light and all and is very private, both during the day and at night with the lights on. Visitors thought I changed out the glass, so I would say it looks very professional and not gaudy.

This was perfect for what I needed. I wanted privacy behind my beautiful carved room divider without covering up the screen or the light. This did just that. The photos don't do it justice. It's very lightweight so it's super easy to work with.

I followed the instructions and have had no issues with unpeeling or anything. I did read to be very careful not to stretch and the panel did shrink about 1/4 ". For my purposes, no big deal as it is along the edge of the window and don't care that a little gap exists, but if you are looking for total privacy, suggest you make slightly longer than window and then after waiting the 24 hours, exacto knife or razor cut any excess along the edge. The iridescence with lights is not huge but there is definitely some light refraction, as described. Overall, very pleased with the level of translucency, privacy and look, as well as the staying power. Have had the panels up for over a month. manufacturer sent an additional set of information which was nice but I carefully read through reviews on Amazon as well.

I am super happy with this! I saves me from having to close our shower curtain at night so our neighbors can't see into our bathroom from their bedroom window. This way our otherwise dark bathroom can be brightened naturally with light from the window without having to climb over the bathtub to pull the shower curtain in and out of the way of the window....And then those flimsy holes keep ripping from all the extra tugging on it. It's just a very awkward space to try to fit any curtain in, so this window cover has solved that issue for us really well! While it was easy to apply, the instructions are printed inside the box which is kind of annoying because I have a lot of leftover material and had to destroy the box to read the instructions. It would have been nice to have the box to store the mostly unused roll. I may tape it up and try to reassemble the box for ease of storage. If I did it again, I'd look up the instructions online rather than destroy the box. Anyhow, this looks great! I love the colored sheen it gives and how if the light catches it differently, the rainbow effect is different. Beautiful way to add some privacy while still letting in as much light as possible!
