Very nice little bearing splitter

When the small bearing splitter from my expensive set took a walk, I didn't want to spend the money to replace it. Then, I needed one. I found this one on Amazon and decided to give it a try. Worked like a charm. Every bit as good as my original but less than half the price. I am very pleased with the purchase.

Hub bearing replacement it was a little bigger than I needed but with a little help from shop press to get it started got it done..with the end result being job well done.

Worked Great!

I bought this to use to separate the bearing from a broken armature for my Chop Saw. If anyone ever replaced the bearings, they know how difficult it can be and almost impossible without a drill press or something like this. It worked very well.

Good bearing separator for a good price

Used it the day it arrived. Allowed me to remove a bearing (dimensions: 43X90X30) from a pinion shaft without damaging the roller cage. It's pretty tight tolerance, maybe 2mm gap between the pinion and the bearing. My old separator would not be able to remove without destroying the cage. When just replacing the bearing then it doesn't matter if destroyed . However, when there's no other recourse then to reuse a good old bearing, then a good tool like this is invaluable. I would still caution to readjust several times during removal so the separator does not rid up on the roller cage, if the cage still spins while pressing out then you're good. Can't say much for longevity as I have not had it for long.

Worked flawlessly!

The quality was better than I expected. I have used it twice to remove axle bearing races from my Toyota Tundra. Much better than cutting and chiseling off the remainder of the bearing. Best money I have spent on a bearing separator.
