I made shrimp skewers for my birthday party and they were a hit. I followed the directions and soaked the bamboo sticks prior to use and the dish came out perfectly. There were only a few left after the party but the sticks held the moister really well because they were still good and the food slid right off even after they were re-warmed the next day. They were housed in a nice plastic canister that can be stored. I would say to be very careful because the pointed end is very sharp.

Very Healthy way to Eat, these are consistent quality!

I prefer the wood over the meal skewers. I just use two instead of one so I can turn it, but this way I know I'm not contaminating the food with chrome, Some of the stainless discolored in the dishwasher so I immediately realized it was not safe with food. These are very reliable, I just start soaking them in a baking pan before using. Kabobs are very healthy way to eat roasted vegetables and small pieces of meat. We love it.

Perfect, odorless, uniform natural bamboo skewers

These skewers were wonderful. I soaked them (even though I wasn't cooking with them) & filled them with varous fruits for an event. ( tangerine, cantaloupe, watermelon, honeydew, strawberry & black grape. All seedless) The length was perfect. The skewers were uniform in length & diameter. Most importantly, unlike some other similar products I read about, they had NO chemical taste or odor. I will definitely order again!

8 inch is perfect for fruit kabobs!

I purchased these to make 8 inch fruit kabobs for a bridal shower. They came well sealed and the size was perfect for the kabobs. The skewers are sturdy. Out of the 50 skewers that I hand checked only on 2 of them had a tiny little sliver of wood sticking off that I rubbed away with my fingers. Nice product, I am happy with the purchase.

FANTASTIC Product

Great quality! I use them for one of my Etsy products, so I need sturdy and STRAIGHT sticks, without the ugly green/gray bamboo exterior. You'd be surprised how hard it is to find great quality bamboo sticks.

A must for every household.

Love 'em! Endless uses. Microwave shishkabobs, flower supports, prop up a beer-can-chicken, weave a basket; but have them on hand when nothing else will work... But a word of caution with this particular brand: It comes in a neat plastic storage tube that will open from either end... Be sure to securely wrap the end that you don't want to open... As a kid, I enjoyed 'pick-up-sticks', but this particular geezer was not amused by a pile of 200 skewers on his kitchen floor.. Just sayin..
