The problem I had with other designs was they made it kind of annoying to use the mouse. This design leaves most of my palm free while still providing support. I've been wearing it for two days and I've already had a lot of relief. I use this due to my carpal tunnel pain that I am trying to prevent from getting worse and it is definitely helping! UPDATE 1/22/2019: Still using this product every day for hours at a time. I've washed it several times on handwash and hang to dry, and it is holding up beautifully and helping my pain a lot!

This is the best wrist support of all the ones I have tried!! I have had tendinitis for about four months and this support has been a huge help. Also, the exercise booklet has been very helpful as well. I have been doing the exercises for the past few weeks and thankfully they have helped! Thank you for putting so much thought in your wrist support, and the exercise booklet was a great bonus!

This wrist wrap is just the right length on the hand and wrist. I have another one from a different maker and the band part that goes over the wrist is to long and brothers my arm and I had to stop wearing it . I saw this one and decided to try it and it has been great so far . I worn it for about two week now and it has help with pain I get in my wrist.

I have experienced repetitive injury on my right wrist few months ago. I need a wrist brace whenever I have to work, so I saw the 4.5+ reviews on Amazon about this product. After a few weeks wearing this everyday, it feels that my right wrist was almost back to normal. I am still practicing to use my left hands and arms to strengthen it by using some exercises and some physical therapy. This product helped me a lot at work. Although I can sense little pain, and has ease the discomfort of pain in the past. This is a great product for those who have carpal tunnel syndrome or have experienced repetitive wrist injury. The straps are adjustable to your wrist and hands size which is so convenient. It is also easy to wear it too because of the magnetic circle to close the wrist strap tightly. Pretty cool I would say! This package has both right and left wrist straps in a box, and some helpful guide on using the product. I highly recommend this product compared to others.

Full disclosure: I was sent this wrist brace for free by Dr. Arthritis after sending them an email praising how well their compression gloves had worked for me. I still approach this review as though I had paid for this product, as I want to help others find what works best for them and their hands. I am an artist, and my hands and wrists have lived a HARD life. My predictable-paycheck job involves a great deal of typing and repetitive motion, which wasn't doing my hands any favors, often resulting in pain, stiffness, and swelling. The wrist brace has helped immensely with all three and has the added bonus that, unlike my compression gloves (which are 88% cotton), I can wear it at work without ruining it. The catch is that the neoprene which makes the brace work-friendly also means your hand can get quite sweaty--I may be wearing a cotton glove under it this summer in order to minimize that. I should also mention that I have ridiculously sensitive skin (as in my wedding band is surgical steel), and I have yet to have an adverse reaction to the wrist brace's material, even with the sweat factor thrown in. The wrist brace is a one-size-fits-all affair. If you have smaller hands like I do, it will take some extra finagling to get the fit right the first few times. I've worn the brace for a full work week now, and I was finding the right fit automatically by the last few days. Like the compression gloves, the brace comes with a booklet that details wrist care and several hand exercises for when the brace is not an option and to help improve the overall state of your hands. I appreciate that the booklet also advises keeping an eye on your mental health when dealing with something so fundamentally frustrating as being unable to use one's hands and/or dealing with the constant pain of basic motion. As someone who would be lost without my hands, it really makes me feel like this company "gets it," and the effectiveness of the two products I've tried--the compression gloves for at night and the wrist brace for at work--reflects that.

This is a great product but I bought this thinking it would provide restrictive support for my wrists. I am able to fully flex my wrists as if it's not even on other than the contorting of the padding. Dr. Arthritis customer support reached out to me with their tremendous 100% satisfaction service and sent me another of their products that they believed would provide the support I was looking for. Their kindness was unexpected and really made the difference in making me a loyal customer. Definitely give these products at try if you're looking to improve your joint health.

Excellent wrist guard...I am recovering from a broken wrist and this really helps give my wrist strength and confidence! I use it for cross country skiing, and it even enables me to do some yoga without as much weakness and discomfort. Highly recommend it (and I bought a less expensive but similar one which was not as comfortable, so I returned that one.) Pay the extra money and get this one.

I absolutely love this brace! I have arthritis is my right wrist. The pain and swelling was getting worse every day. My doctor recommended trying a wrap around product. I purchased 4 different ones. As soon as I put this one on, I immediately noticed a difference. Not only was it made better it worked wonderful. I’ve been using it for a couple weeks. I no longer have any swelling and the pain has almost diminished. I’m back to lifting weights at the gym which I haven’t been able to do for months. In fact, I ordered 2 additional ones so I always have a clean one!

This brace has been magic for my basal thumb arthritis. My pain had been escruciating. I could not do anything and I was even spending a lot of time, depressed, in bed due to the pain. After wearing this brace for only three days, I notice great relief from the pain. I highly recommend this product.

I'm a professional writer and editor, which sometimes involves layout and graphics manipulation. So I occasionally (fortunately not more often) experience repetitive stress in my wrists. It's been bad enough that my wrists would spasm at night; the pain was so great that I couldn't sleep at all. Desperate, I ordered this wrist support as well as the other one they sell. (Also see the last paragraph of this review for a complementary pharmaceutical approach, either in combination with or separate from the wrist brace, that worked for me.) Once I started wearing this brace, the pain started to dissipate and I could manage the pain. The product is constructed pretty well, with a thick stretchable synthetic fabric. It wraps around one's wrist and then is secured via a velcro strap. I found it easy to adjust the pressure and fit of the brace. If you get this kind of pain, you know that to manage it, you often need to be able to apply varying pressure depending on the pain. This brace lets you do that. I've worn it all over the place, gotten it dirty, and put it in the washer and dryer with little degradation of the fabric or its tension. This brace is especially good if you have arthritis or aren't strong enough to pull on a typical sleeve brace. I'm sure some other consumers wondered, as I did, what the difference is between this product and the other one sold by this merchant (Doctor Developed Copper Infused Wrist Sleeve/Wrist Support/Wrist Brace/Wrist Compression Sleeve [Single] & Doctor Written Handbook), which is a sleeve rather than using a strap (I'll just refer to it as a "brace"): (1) the sleeve has greater coverage than the brace does—it covers more of the wrist and more of the hand itself; because both areas are outside the area of pain being treated, it really has no effect, and I haven't noted any (2) the sleeve material is significantly thinner than the brace material—this could matter if you need more freedom of movement or engage in an activity that could be hampered by a thick brace (typing, sewing, watchmaking, etc.); (3) as noted earlier, the brace's fit and pressure can be adjusted via the strap; this is not possible with the sleeve—I found the sizing chart to be quite accurate, however, and my sleeve works quite well when I want something less restrictive (e.g., when sleeping); and (4) the brace is more durable than the sleeve. I bought both products, and I use each depending on the circumstances. The copper lining is noted in both the listing title and product copy. Curious, as I had never heard that copper has any therapeutic affect on wrist afflictions. After a little research, voila!, I had the answer—it does nothing, or if it does, it cannot or has not been scientifically proven. It's slightly annoying that the doctors who make this product would bother adding copper to it or using copper's presence for marketing. But in the end, it has no impact on the product's performance, as far as I can tell, so no big deal. Now a recommendation that I have absolutely no qualifications to dispense: (1) get yourself some aspirin, not ibuprofen or similar; (2) note the recommended dosage and frequency in the product directions (for 400–500 mg aspirin this is typically 2 tablets every 6 hours); (3) follow the recommended dosing for 2 days; (4) stop taking the aspirin if you need to for any reason listed in the product warnings or by using common sense; and (5) the pain should be much more manageable at that point. This works because aspirin is an anti-inflammatory—its continuous use for a period reduces inflammation in the tendons and ligaments that move together to perpetuate the problem. It worked for me, but your mileage will undoubtedly vary. For someone with a chronic problem, this may have no effect at all.
