I have a motorcycle tow hitch carrier so that I can carry my motorcycle on the back of my Jeep. Problem is, the motorcycle covers all of my taillights on my Jeep. I bought this towing light kit so that I could place the lights on the carrier. Magnets are strong, cable connections were perfect, and the lights are very visible for cars following me. The lights, brake lights, and turn signals work as expected. I'm legal now, and safe.

Stopped working after 2 months. First the right light stopped and now neither will work. UPDATED: this company went above and beyond to stand behind their product. I didn't return the item because it was well past the return window when I had problems. But after reading about the problem I had, their representatives reached out to me. Unfortunately the emails went to spam. But they didn't stop trying to help. They reached out again and again. One day, months later as I was looking for something unrelated in my spam folder I saw their emails. I returned one thinking that there was little chance they were still willing months later to help. WRONG. They responded almost immediately and I had a replacement within days. All I can say is wow. Possibly the best customer service I've ever had!!!!

Ordered this to go on a "toad" behind the RV. The only mod I made was to put a homemade wire cover over all of the connecting wire so as not to mare or mark the vehicle paint. Works great. To make it "fool proof" I marked the right lamp so figuring out which one goes on which side is a no brainer (their instructions are clear but I marking made it REAL easy. Have used it twice so far on two trips and had no issues. The magnets hold and do not slip.

I was borrowing a neigbor’s 6’ trailer for some running that didn’t have lights, so I looked and found these to avoid getting pulled over. The magnets are strong enough to keep the lights from moving at all, but do release easily enough when you pull on them. They come with plenty of cable length and include an extra strand and press connectors if you needed more. The lights where bright and visible. They are Amber one one side and red on the other. I can’t speak to longevity as they have been on there for only a couple months but they still work fine as of now. Overall I would buy them again for the price.

Work great im a tow truck driver so i use theese all day everyda6 magnets are strong and are made well.. Company also replaced a pair because of a minor durability issue A plus customer service

New review: I was pleasantly surprised today to find this entire replacement for the trailer lights after the company made an inquiry and we realized there was a communication glitch! Very classy and appreciated!! Old review: Asked for a replacement for a light cover that fell off and tho they said they’d send one, I’ve not seen it! **Would recommend taping the seam where yellow and red light covers meet.

Plug them in and they work. Using them on a boat. Left blinky blinks, right blinky blinks.

The magnets hold firm. They did not fly off the trailer at all, and they were in full wind force, driving 70-80 mph on the interstate. I have seen some reviews of the magnets not working, but it probably has something to do with thin metal. The rails I was attaching them to was 1/4" steel (0.25"). If it is really thin steel, like 18ga (0.04") or even 16ga (0.06") they might not hold. 11ga (0.125) would probably hold. Only thing I had to do was pop the plastic red/yellow plastic off of them and switch them around, which wasn't hard to do. These are a huge improvement over the screwed up, mouse eaten wiring harness on my trailer. Once done with these, I suggest you take them down, wrap them up, and store them in shelter. Don't leave them outside, there is no reason to weather them, unless you just want to leave them outside on the trailer.

This has a really good strong magnet, not sure why some people are saying it doesn't. I drove 1,200 miles with these on a portable sawmill, with the last 100 of it over gravel and washboard roads, and they didn't budge. Rain and dust were no problem. I'll throw these in the truck anytime I tow a trailer from now on, just as a backup.

I just purchased a new car to tow behind my motorhome. I had only a few days to get prepared before hitting the road on an extended trip. So, without time to wire into the vehicle's actual tail-light system, these external mount lights did the trick. They are easy to set in place, the magnets hold them tight (past 70mph with no problems) and they are easy to see from the front (amber) and the rear (red).
