Affordable Portable AC

Window air conditioner in my bedroom had recently broken and the repair fee is too high. Therefore i decided to search for new one Amazon. I have been searching for reasonable priced AC. There's so many to chose from. I finally choosen this portable AC. Im quite impressed , its completely beyond my expectations. Its really quiet and work out well my my bedroom. i can feel the room temperature changed after 10 minutes. This AC unit made me slept better. This portable AC is great for my bedroom and I also used in my living room. Its portable so its really easy to move it around. I highly recommended it and hope it will be durable. Thanks Amazon.

Happy with this product

So glad got one of this cooling system for my garage. We live in in the pa and got the hot weather in the summer. We just had crazy hot weather in the last couple weeks. My husband Specially love it due to his office set in the garage, and we are so happy that our garage come with window so we can set up easier. Product come with the window tube, this even better for us, not need to purchase additional part. After the summer past by we are plan to put in the basement for the dehumidifier. I do like the remote control and timer as well. With our other Ac we always had to walk by to turn off and had to keep in mind to turn off before we left the house. Do suggest it get one for someone who really need it for the people who don’t have central Ac in the house.

Suitable for the price

I ordered this air conditioner two weeks ago and arrived in two days. It was ver well packed with no damage to the body at all. It came with screws and boards to help the pipe stays on the window. The package was very heavy but the actual unit is weight reasonably and was really easy to assemble, basically it is plug and play. Only took me two minutes to set up and settle the pipe. For noise part I think it is alright, definitely not as quit as central ac but can be handled in the day time, probably around 50db. For my regular size bedroom, the ac get it cooled in about five minutes and can actually make the room really cold if you set the temperature lower. For the two hundredish price, I think it met my expectations.

Decent price for 8,000 BTU air conditioner

I have been looking everywhere to buy a low price portable air conditioner this summer for a while for my studio as my previous air conditioner was crappy and made a lot of noises. Based on the reviews and research, I decided to purchase this one and I'm glad that it works out well. It was easy to installed and makes no horrible noises at all. It also come with a small remote control which I didn't have in my previous air conditioner. Overall, the cooling for this air conditioner is refreshing and I will be using this every summer.

worth the price

We bought two window ACs after the central AC stop working in the middle of Summer, the installation is a pain and the insulation doesn't fit exactly right on my window. So that makes the window AC very inefficient. We decided to give this portable ac a try and yes we absolutely love it. It comes with the dehumidifier function, out of my surprise, so we throw my old dehumidifier in the garage. Next, the cleaning is super easy, it only took me 5 minutes per week to clean the filter. The rolling wheel was the plus, it make moving this unit much easier, I simply move this to living room during the day and roll back to bedroom at night and that save me the other AC unit. The only con is it can ake some work when you try to drain the water out the first time, but after that it should be fairly easy.

Quality product.

We needed a portable unit for our media room/library/home office and this unit is perfect. The room is not large, about 150 sf, and the 8000 btu size cools the room quickly and comfortably. The specifications note this unit has a max of 170 sf, so for our room, perfect. The arrived well packaged and in an upright position. The company advises that you let the unit stand upright for 24 hrs just to be sure the coolant in the compressor is properly in its place, which we did, they advise this for best practice and operation. Unpacking is easy, the small amount of assembly is easy (good instructions), and installation in our doublehung window was quick. The unit is a bit heavy, so if locating up a set of stairs, consider a friend to help. The unit has casters so moving around the room is very easy. Also the controls are simple to operate. And it is good looking. Noise level is only modest, not loud at all. Talking while the unit is operating is fine, the volume on your tv may need to be a bit higher while this is in operation. Overall, a very good product, I would highly recommend.

It’s very heavy but easy to move with its handle and wheels. If you don't want break the castors, be slow and careful crossing the door thresholds. I have upright it for 1 day before operating it as the caution said and no problem with the cooling. 8000btu is large enough for my room. The only pity is about the noise. A little loud, but just as loud as the fan. I get used to the sound now and it doesn’t disturb my sleep. I‘m satisfied and would definitely recommend this unit.

Great Air Conditioner

We bought this a/c for my daughter who just moved to NY for her apartment. She has a very small room in a flex apartment and her room was extremely hot. We had a handy man install it through her sliding glass door which was easier than we had expected. This unit is perfect for her. It definitely cools down the room during the hot nights in New York. I would also like to give the Amazon Seller - HVAC & Auto Parts five stars (John) Their customer service is excellent.

Easy set up - Comfortable cooling

I bought this portable air conditioner to use in my bedroom. I like the room cold at night and wanted to save money by not cooling my whole house that much while I was asleep. It has been great! It was so easy to set up. The only thing you have to do is connect the vent and slide together the window panel (no tools needed). It keeps the bedroom temperature comfortable. It has a night feature to cut down on noise but I have been running it in the regular mode and the noise isn’t bad. It is more like a white noise. I’m a light sleeper and it just took me one night to get used to the sound. The only thing that may bother you is the light from the temperature panel. It is a soft green light and makes a great (unintended) night light. If you don’t like much light in the room while you sleep you can easily put something over the display. Overall, this is a great purchase and it does a good job.

Happy with this purchase

The main reason for purchasing Ac unit is because my families usually sweat a lot while they eating, because it is hot in my dining room in summer. This machine is easy install, we connected the machine to the window use the exhaust hose, and also use pipe wrap and foil tape for the exhaust hose to make sure all the heat goes out my window. I have been use this Ac unit for a week or so, it is efficient, and cool down the dining room in minutes, brings us a comfortable room temperature for eating. It does make some noise, but we can work with this. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.
