Great Wide Angle Lens for Beginners
This is a great intro to wide angle lenses. I'm not a professional, so this is just my opinion. This is the first one I've bought for my Nikon D3400 and I had a blast using it for the first time today. The colors are awesome and the pictures came out really clear, focus was fast and accurate. I'd definitely recommend this lens. Check out some of my photos I took today!

Perfect Ultra Wide Angle Lens For Nikon!
A PERFECT lens for interior (or landscape) real estate photos. Acts as an ultra wide angle lens, and NOT as a fisheye lens (which has great distortion). 10-20 with 1.5x multiplier is like 15-30 with 35mm format. Images are clear and virtually distortion free with with my Nikon D3300. Make sure your firmware is up to date.

You need a wide-angle lens in your bag.
We waited a long time to buy a wide lens, and finally got this in anticipation of a trip to Hawaii. I used this lens for 75% of the shots on that trip, and I don't know what I would've done without it. Missed some details, that's what. There's definitely some distortion (horizontal stretching) at the outer edges, which is to be expected, so put humans at the center of the shot. This lens fit and functioned perfectly with a Nikon D5500.

Great wide lens from Nikon
I'm using this new lens on a Nikon D5300 with the latest firmware update and everything works just fine. When attached to the D5300 camera, a new menu appears that controls the VR from the camera as there are no physical switches on the lens itself. I like it because it has vibration reduction (VR) so photos come out sharp when hand-held. It's also light weight, quiet and has fast focus. The photos look good. This is a useful lens for indoors - to catch everything inside a room - and for outdoors for those deep, wide scenic shots. One of the best things about this lens is it allows me to have a quality, true wide-angle lens at an affordable price. It comes with a US warrantee, front and rear lens caps, front lens hood and a soft carrying bag. Hats off to Amazon who delivered this lens just 20 hours after purchase.

Great lens, great price!
I have been using a Tamron 10-24 for several years, I am going to put it on ebay. This lens much lighter and more compact, the ergo is better, and the VR should more than make up for the fact that the aperture is slightly slower. Hard to believe it is barely over $300 - what a bargain. I just got it so I have not used it much yet but the image quality looks good so far. 06/2018 update: Love this lens, highly recommend it!

Incredibly Light & Reasonably priced Sharp Wide Angle Lens
Very Light & relatively inexpensive wide angle lens. The range (15-30mm full frame equivalent) is true wide angle. Although there is some distortion (especially at extreme wide angle) it is no worse than other lenses of this genre. Be sure to check compatibility with your camera as this lens only works on Nikons manufactured in 2013 and later (and some of the earlier ones in that range require a firmware update). Although the aperture range is a little on the slow side (f/4.5-5.6), the Vibration reduction (VR) should compensate for this by allowing a slower shutter speed. Sharpness is very good especially after 20mm (equiv) or so. Obviously a lot of plastic is involved in producing this lens so light (8 ounces), but the lens feels reasonably solid. Really works well with the D5600.

Unbelievably quality from such a small, fairly inexpensive lens! Love it!!!
I'm a real estate photographer and generally have 4 to 8 shoots a week. When I had to send in my D750 for repair I needed a 15mm coverage lens, so bought this one to use on my D7100. It rocks! Frankly I can't tell much difference between the results from this lens and my 15-30mm Tamron full frame lens on my D750. And this lens is so light it hardly feels like I am using a lens at all. I love this lens! Don't let the low price scare you...it's a quality piece of glass!!!

Can't back up? This is the lens for you. Great Optics, very practical IMO..
I have had this lens for about 2 months now, I mainly do construction photography, and I am very happy with the results of the few hundred photos I have taken with it. I have a crop sensor D5500 and I do a lot of indoor photography for work and pleasure. This lens at the 20 mm setting is significantly wider than my standard kit 18-55mm lens at the 18 setting. So if you are in an environment where backing up isn't an option this lens is an ideal choice. I also do a lot of panoramic photography in which I may take 5-10 shots and sew them together in photoshop, this lens has given me the ability to take 2-3 photos and sew them instead of 6-7. Or just take 1 instead of sewing 2-3 together. I also find the distortion at the 10 setting visually attractive when shooting large buildings or vehicles, it give them a larger than life feel. Optics are wonderful, crisp and auto focus is quick and accurate. The lens hood is nice but basic, but be careful you cannot use the built in flash with it, it will create a shadow (same issue with many Lens hoods)

A good value for a Nikon wide angle lens
While I enjoy my photography avocation, I am not inclined to spend thousands on my gear, instead looking for reasonable values that enable me to do what I like. I started out with a Nikon D40, then upgraded to a D5300 with the 18-55 and 55-200 kit lenses. I like shooting landscapes, and have long wanted a wide angle lens but couldn't justify spending the cash for the lenses available. When Nikon announced this DX format wide angle lens I pre-ordered it. I am very satisfied with it. Image quality is good, although, understandably, not the highly sharp quality of more expensive glass. But I find the lens an excellent value for the money and am quite pleased with it. Attached find a shot I took with this lens this weekend. F11, 1/200, ASA 200 at 10 mm focal length. Shot using an Amazon Basics 72 mm circular polarizer filter. Some post processing of the resulting raw image in Lightroom.

Perfect upgrade from my kit lens
My first experience with a wide angle lens was with the one that came with my camera as a kit. That one sucked to be honest. This lens, of course, is a massive upgrade! I use this for real estate photography and outdoor shots. For me, it works great! I have a Nikon D3400 and it fits and works perfectly with that camera. The lens captures a lot in its gaze and it doesn't have any dark spots at the corners like my kit lens did. I'm sure there are better lenses out there but this one is great and the price was decent as well.
