Great color, great quality, BEST VALUE!!!!!
I don't normally write a reviews, but this item is such a great value, I felt like I had to. I am very pleased with this light. I don't think there is a better LED for a Nano reef out currently. The color and light output is not fully capture in photos, but I have included a photo to show what type of high quality light it produces compared to a typically Aquarium LED at this price point. I have it set to 100% Blue and about 70% White intensity, and it is the light on the right. The color is a very soothing one, and look just like my $800 LED light on my main display tank. I have already ordered 2 and I will order more for my other tanks, too good of a value to pass up!

[4 MONTH UPDATE] Great little light: Proven Winner for shallow live reefs (pico, nano, frag...)
Great little light. Have it over a frag tank that's 12 in high x 24 in wide x 18 in deep and it lights up most of it. Coral seem happier since installation. Time will tell if it grows corals well. May purchase another if this proves to be under powered for the frag system. Update (4 months since installation): Proven Winner; albeit, this is over a 12 in high x 24 in wide x 18 in deep frag system plumbed into a 150 gal multi-tank system running full power on an analog timer. We grow soft corals and keep a number of LPS species healthy with a low tech setup using a macroalgae refugium, an aging & under-spec protein skimmer, and a massive amount of live rock/water flow with minimal dosing. This little light has some decent PAR values at shallow depths (may be good for low-light corals at ~18 in depth, no promises). Growth of coralline algae spiked and maintained strong growth rates since early February 2018, without other changes to the system. The most drastic change was to our coral frags, anemones, coral rescue cases, and coral mother colonies. We've never used an AquaIllumination, EcoTechMarine or other high-end LED light on our personal systems but we are definitely impressed by the quick healing, rapid growth and reproduction rate exhibited by the corals in our frag system with this light. For example, we purchased 10 small rainbow rose bubble anemones around the same time and now have 23. Our 2-head green duncan coral that was dying from a flameback pygmy angel attack has between 10 and 15 heads. The correct wavelengths of light are present in sufficient quantity to do what it says it will do, grow corals (given it's applied to a tank that's within its capabilities). Please note that the anodizing on the aluminum will rapidly disintegrate (~2 weeks) when continuously exposed to salt water. This is generally expected with hard anoziding v. salt water (possibly slightly electrified), did not exceed the water line, had no negative impact on our system, and quickly grew over with coralline algae. The support is strong and stable if properly secured with some common sense. The photographs attached were taken today, after ~4 months of use. Perfect for a nano, pico, or frag system. I recommend buying this one if it's on your short list; it's worth the extra over comparable budget led fixtures. Dollar for dollar, it's hard to beat this little giant. Just wish it was made in the USA.

Great light for the price.
This light is great for small tanks and at the price really can’t be beat. You can change white and blue balance as well as intensity. Got about 110 par at bottom center of 12 inch tank and about 320 a few inches under the surface, with blues 100% and whites dimmed 4 ticks. Not a fan of the touch controls but with a timer it doesn’t matter much anyway. I got the current USA ramp single timer and while it does work with the unit it hums terribly when dimming so I’ll only be using it for on and off. Hopefully the manufacturer will come up with a dimming timer better matched for it, still a great light for the price.

So far, so awesome!
Bought a couple of these to light my 30" long x 18" deep 30gal tank that i changed from freshwater to salt to make my Wyoming White Clown pair a little Love Nest with some privacy from everyone in my display tank. Once I figured out the color/dimming situation with the touch buttons, these things have been amazing. Very bright and they are very adjustable. From pure blue to pure white and very bright to dim. For the price they have been amazing so far. Just set my tank up and waiting for it to cycle before i can add any livestock, but im sure it will thrive. If anything changes I will update my review. The pics added are not on the highest brightness setting and the rock shelf literally takes up almost the entire space (front to back). Maybe an inch of space or less either side. Also, i wanted a comparison to the fluorescent lighting in my freshwater tank. Such a difference! With white sand and rock, it hurts my eyes staring at it for any length of time

Huge bang for the buck!
I was skeptical, until I got it on my tank. I'm restarting my reef, and no need for a halide light anymore. These LED's are amazingly bright and I love the shimmer. You can change the colors to suit your tank needs. I prefer a little more blue and it will help my new softies once I get them in the tank. The live rock pops! As for mounting, it was easy once I figured out a solution. The bracket it comes with would not fit my tank. My solution that worked for me was to get a board cut at 52.5 inches, which was right below the rim of the tank. I mounted the light on the board and secured it. BAM! Done and a very clean look overall. That's what I was wanting with this light. I will do an update after I start stocking the tank back up. Thanks for a great product! Do yourself a favor, GET IT!!!

Has potential, but missing parts.
Very light, build quality seems ok but was missing most of the parts to the mounting bracket. Will update review when I can get it working. ** Update ** After contacting the vendor, I was sent a complete bracket kit along with a note of apology. The bracket is well thought out and allowed me to mount the LED properly. This is a great system, my corals and anemones are more than happy with the light even on the lowest settings. This little light packs a punch for sure.

USED WITH MY RED SEA MAX 130 - SHORT TERM REVIEW
My older Red Sea Max 130's integrated light/lid has been a pain in the *** for several years and I finally decided to remove it all together and move to an LED setup. Although I have only had this light for about a week, I like it as an inexpensive lighting solution so far. It is more than enough light to fill the tank and I'm interested to see how it does in getting my corals going again. Attaches perfectly to the back. Sure it would be nice to have more auto control over the lights function but I was looking for "inexpensive" and so far, if this lasts, seems like it will fit the bill perfectly. I will update this review as necessary. 5 stars for now because of the value/function ratio.

Fantastic Reef Light!
This is the third different light I've tried on my reef tank and I have to say it is the best I've found and the price is very reasonable. It is fully adjustable from white to blue light or a mixture of the two. Easily attaches to a timer to turn it on and off to prevent problems with too much light. All of my reef inhabitants are doing wonderful with this, my two rock flower anemone have actually spawned when I changed to this light and my one little flower anemone (less than dime size when I bought him) is now over the size of a quarter (in under 2 months). My Xenia love it as does my frogspawn and I've even had my one Acan coral which never did well since I got him is now thriving. And my little garden of 'Duncan' corals are doing fantastic, every one of them has grown 2 or 3 new heads and will be ready to frag soon! I've had nothing but great things going on since I switched to this light. I have the one and will be moving to a larger tank so I'm going to buy another and just keep them side by side with about 8" between the two. I highly recommend this light for its quality and adjustability!
