Easy to use

My daughter needed this for a science project and nothing quite seemed to fit the bill. When we saw this product on Amazon, we knew it would work for her experiment and we were not disappointed. It was accurate, easy to use and as a 6th grader, she had no problem understand the readings. Excellent value for money and i'd recommend it for any and all temperature reading requirements.

Purchased this as an upgrade to my old one. I like the expanded temperature range and ease of changing the emissivity values. Excellent range and tighter focus. Just what I wanted. The food thermometer is a nice bonus.

Works as advertised.

I was simply looking for a replacement swimming pool thermometer and I was surprised by the low price of the SURPEER. Specs looked good, reviews looked good, after some comparison shopping, how could I go wrong; it is only a few dollars more than a good pool thermometer. After using it, huh... it performs exactly as advertised. So now I'm shooting everything in the house, A/C vents, sunlight on the floor, the dogs, the concrete bricks around the pool were 110 the other day. This thing is giving me all kinds of ideas for conservation. I haven't even checked out the probe thermometer. Oh, and it works great as a pool thermometer. Buy it.

Instant, easy to read sidewalk temps

I’ve wanted one of these forever. It’s great for home use measuring the temp of my picture windows and the sidewalk getting blasted by the Phoenix summer sun. Now I know when to close my shutters and when it’s too hot for my dogs paws for a walk.

Accurate good thermometer

I love infrared thermometers. I've owned one for years now, the etekcity one. This surpeer brand one is slightly larger and handle is a little bit more comfortable to hold. The thermometer also has a wider range of temperatures it can read, all the way up to 1022 F. I obviously haven't tested this, but that's what the label says. I tested it vs my other thermometer and the temperatures are equivalent in reading so it does appear to be accurate as well. It also comes with a meat thermometer as well as a bonus. Overall this is a great thermometer and a good value. I recommend this product.

Spot on

The infrared it spot on! Measures up properly with the thermostat and accu-weather thingy we have. The meat thermometer fell in fry oil the first time I used it. It died instantly. So I can’t really say. It was only an extra anyway.

Small thermometer failed after using two times. Infrared temp gun works good.

Great bargain. But!the small thermometer that comes with the temp gun. Well that thermometer isn't worth much. I used it twice before it failed altogether. So far. After 3 uses. The infrared temp gun hasn't failed yet. After a couple months of use.

Works well

While I can't scientifically verify the accuracy of this thermometer, it seems to be spot on. And it couldn't be easier to use, just point the laser dot onto the object you want to know the temperature of and read the screen.

It turns off automatically and it is easy to read

This themometer is very accurate (I compared temp reading to a lab one while tempering chocolate, they were consistently within 0.5-1 degree of each other). And it is so much easier and more hygienic to use during chocolate making. It turns off automatically and it is easy to read. Love it!

I LOVE this thermometer

I bought this to use in my soy candle making and it works great. I am constantly checking the temp and I don't have to either keep dirtying a probe, or find a way to keep one submerged with a clip. Also, because it doesn't actually touch the wax, I can also use this with food, like on the grill or in the oven where it is too hot to stand there with a probe. Works fast, very accurate and easy to read. I haven't tried the free probe included with this, but the infrared alone is worth the price!
