- ★【Real Thick 18AWG】- Real 18AWG vs Common 22AWG, real 18AWG are bigger wire than other 22AWG pigtails, as it has heavy gauge with 43 pcs 0.14 mm 100% copper strands inside one cable, total 86 pcs 0.14 mm copper strands inside the two Red / Black cables. This makes the difference when using with bigger power supplies, and allows them to be used for higher current devices, they should be good to 5A or even a touch more with real 18AWG.
- ★【Safe & Rapid Transmission】- Heavy-duty quality with 43 x 0.14 mm 100% copper strands brings the reliable, secure connection and rapid transmission. 18AWG DC Power Pigtail Cable provides a more safer DIY solution for DC power connectivity, work with a power adapter or a power supply box.
- ★【Easy Installation】- Easy to weld and install, as the ends of the DC power pigtail cables are pre-tinned making them super easy to solder. Also features two wires on the other Red Black wire jackets indicate polarity. They are fairly long too, 11" total, 9.5" of wire.
- ★【Compatibility】- Easy DC Power solution, compatible with all CCTV systems and other 2.1*5.5mm DC power devices like part lighting or led strips. Very versatile. This 18AWG DC Power Pigtail provide a very good reliable DC power connection.
- ★【What You Get】-10 x Red/Black Male Pigtails DC Power Connectors, 10 x Red/Black Female Pigtails DC Power Connectors, our 1 Year Free Warranty and Full Refund within 30 Days ensure pleasant shopping experience.

A quality product for at a very reasonable price
Yes,,, the 18 gauge 100% copper wire is real and the insulation is not that cheap hard plastic that is difficult to strip or work with. I am setting up a solar 12 volt battery system as to keep my family somewhat comfortable when the "Seattle BIG ONE hits (meaning we could be w/o city power for months. My family will have enough power to constantly charge multiple cell phones, LI battery lighting, & operate a group of AA/AAA battery chargers. To date, I've crimped, spliced, and soldered about 17 of these great little plugs. At $0.50 ea, they are a screaming bargain. Just keep in mind that they are 18 gauge and carry a max of 5amps. So I would suggest you not use these to hook up a small 10 amp battery charger to your car.

Great high quality product!
When I received my new KX3 amateur radio, I decided to wire up three power sources: A cigar lighter plug for the car, an auxiliary 12 volt battery, and my switching power supply. After previously spending $10 each for Elecraft power cords (plus their "ample" shipping and handling charge), I found this great solution. After a bit of head scratching I wired up a "three headed monster": Two females to go to the radio and the panadapter, and one male to accept a charging input while simultaneously running the radio.

Measured out to ~ 19 AWG
(Wire picture above: Top is 22 awg silicon wire, middle two are these, bottom is 18 AWG silicon insulated wire. Second picture is a MicroOhm meter (tests small resistance values under a 100ma load) testing a length of these wires, which I compared to others that are credibly sized.) Used the MicroOhm meter these wires come out to ~19 AWG, so pretty much the size they are claiming. One of their wires had printed on it .6 mm2 so plugging that into RapidTables.com calculator, it also showed 19 AWG. The Red and Black (Center and outside of connector) each came out at 33 MicroOhm over the 21" connected length so not a lot of loss through the connector as the wires contributed probably most of this. I could rotate the connectors with very little effect on the connection. Found a ~3% voltage drop through the red wire side of assembled pair and about the same through the black side (21" long total) at the 5.02A load. I will note that some warming of connector itself did occur during the 5A load test, it became what I would call luke warm (who ever Luke is). So, after trying many of these in the past and some that "claimed" 18 awg, this seems to be pretty much as claimed, so far, and I have to admit I was skeptical initially after testing several others with exaggerated claims.

Great value connectors for your home projects
This product arrived on time and met all specifications. The male and female connectors are sturdy, and the shell holds tight to the conductive surfaces. The strain relief is crimped tight to the wire, so it does its job. The wire soldered easily to my power supply lines and the wire insulation is thick and durable. If I had to find something, it would be the tolerance of the center pin on the male might be off by a few thousandths of an inch.

Amazing customer service from Kate
I got this product today and soon realized that these would not fit in my TS100 soldering iron (TS 100 requires 5.5mm*2.5mm while these are 5.5mm * 2.1mm). I contacted Kate (from LILAPEAK) to see if i can get a replacement. They promptly replied saying they don't have the product and offered a full refund. They also did not take back the product as i had to pay for the shipping. This is a great example of working towards customer first business model. I highly recommend MILAPEAK!

Well made at a good price
The product appears to be of high quality with solid copper wire, tinned at the end, and of 18 gauge. I used the female side of this cable and created an adapter cable to match a Bioenno battery charger's male plug, with this fitting on one end and powepole connectors on the other end to fit the bioenno battery powepole connectors. These connectors are exactly the right size. The wires were strong and easy to work with. Only time will tell about the durability of these connectors, but I'm hopeful given my initial experience.

Finally the real thing advertised
No more confusion and bad info to publish. 100% copper stranded wire, with just a small amount of solder which is silver in color only on the tip to prevent fraying. Trim back the coating you’ll see only copper wire.

Great for SOC's.
I'm using these (male ends only) for running a couple Hardkernel Odroid SOC computers (like a souped-up Raspberry Pi) off a single, 5V 30A power supply. Other cables I tried were too thin, introducing too much of a voltage drop and causing the machines to cut out and crash when they drew too much power. These ones work great.

Very good power connectors
I was surprised by the quality of these connectors. Wires are great, flexible and the right gauge for pretty much anything. I gave 4 stars for "easy to install" because soldering skills are required. Not fair for the connectors themselves but just as a reminder. I gave 5 stars for durability because they seem very well build and latched tight to one each other. In my application they are not used a lot. Once installed there is very little plugin un-plugin action. So, if that is required on regular basis your mileage my vary.

Simplifies the ham shack
A lot of the equipment in my shack used this connector for the 12v supply. Having a number of these connectors going either to my solar battery or my 12v line supply really makes using (and changing out) things like my keyer, soundcard, tuner, SWR meter, etc. Sometimes it is just to keep a meter light on, but it sure beats constant changing out all the time. These are well made and easy to splice into feed lines.
