Barking Stopped Immediately

We haven't had this collar for a full 24 hours and our beagle mix puppy has completed stopped her obsessive barking. She was driving us nutty and it was really hurting our relationship with her. She's now sweet and snuggly and we couldn't be happier. Definitely recommend this collar!

Run don't walk to buy this product! I have a coon hound. If you don't know what their barks sound like, google it. I just recently married and apparently the change has caused some extreme anxiety. We've tried everything, including doggy Prozac. Nothing helps. She just barks and barks and barks from the moment we get home. We timed her once - 2 hours and 45 minutes of constant barking! Again, google it if you don't know what it sounds like and imagine for just a moment a solid near 3 hours of it! It could cause people to contemplate horrible things!! We tried more walks, crate time, anxiety drops, everything we could think of. My new husband was not impressed (and I missed my dog!!) Out of desperation, and because of the reviews, we bought this product. Opened the package while she was baying very loudly. Immediately put it on her last night and 3 more barks and she was done! It was a quiet night at our house for the first time in 68 days!! Will it continue to work? Who knows - she is a stubborn breed, but we enjoyed the silence last night! Looking forward to a stress-free and enjoyable weekend!

Good product

Worked very well for my daughters pug when he visits as he barks ferociously at my husband especially. He’ll bark once, the alarm goes off and no more. It does not appear to be making him scared which I did not want. I do wish there was a lower profile one as pugs have such short necks, makes a bulky collar which I can’t think is very comfortable.

Life changing!

We have been using this collar for about a week now and it has made a night and day difference. Our 60lb Labradoodle would love to go in the backyard and incessantly bark at our neighbor's goats, chickens, and other dogs. He wouldn't come when called and would just yap away. It was like a game to him. Since we put the Bark Collar on I haven't heard him bark more than twice at a time. I'm not even sure if he's made it vibrate yet, but he definitely quiets down when he hears the beeping. He comes inside faster. He doesn't freak out when the mailman stops by. All around it's just been a huge relief. We leave it on 24/7 as he's a big dog and doesn't bother him to have this and his regular collar on.

Wow what a difference in my fur baby!!

Love this collar!!! My Deer Head Chihuahua was a barking aggressive nightmare before this collar. She was afraid and distrustful of everything and everyone. When my sister came to visit I put the collar on her, she barked twice and calmed down. Yea!! So I took it off of her and told her she was a very good girl. After 2 days of off and on with the collar and praise she was sitting in my sister's lap and loving her. I recommend you do not leave it on if they stop barking. Praise them and only put it back on when they misbehave. That way it works great as a training tool. Love this collar!!!!!

Miracle, miracle, miracle!!!!

We have 2 dogs - one is a crazy german shepherd/terrier mix that barks at everything in sight. We've had trouble finding any peace in our house or backyard. He attacks his bed, the front window, and has gotten increasingly aggressive especially at even the sight of the postal van/UPS pulling up. We got 2 collars - one for each. The first day - problem literally solved. He hears the warning beep and that is usually all it takes. He's calmer, more relaxed and even lays out in the sun outside without pacing and looking for something to bark at. Our other dog is a bit skittish, but follows the crazy one's lead. Peace is now restored in our house. It's been over a week and we, too are more calm because of them. I only wish we hadn't waited 4 years to figure this out. And PS, the one collar never sets off the other's collar. AND, we've tried several other bark collars in the past without success - needing expensive replacement batteries, recharging, breaking quickly - JUNK! This one is awesome. Great price, too! Absolutely LOVE IT!!! Thank you!!

Effective & Humane bark deterrent

I purchased 4 of these collars. Unfortunately one of them failed to advance to the "vibrate" mode after the allotted time for returning it had just passed. The beeps were also quieter than the other collars. The volume button did not work. So apparently that 1 collar was a dud. The collars do seem to work. Depending on the dog the 2nd beep usually deters the barking. My larger dog will sometimes bark until the 1st vibration and then stop. Or old mini dachshund was the worst at barking. The collar has worked esoecially well on him. It's funny because the first time any of our dogs experienced the vibration they looked around like "What the heck just happened!!!" My daughter came home from college with her 1 yr old dog. Beep/vibration did not deter her. We ended up getting a shock collar and put it on the lowest setting. We felt horrible using it but it stopped her right away. We don't even need to use it anymore. So I would recommend this humane method to deter unnecessary barking. I would love it if the company would replace the dud collar. If so I will follow up with an update. UPDATE: I sent a message to the seller and they responded immediately! They are sending me out a replacement collar. Great customer service!

Makes life a lot better for us all

This is the first and only safe, no shock collar, that has worked on our miniature poodle. He doesn't yelp, or feel any pain, there's no citron spray, but the tiniest vibration that he finds unpleasant. But no pain or discomfort displayed. When it's on he doesn't get into barking fits like he has done in the past. Makes life a lot better for us all. He seems completely fine with it. I'd recommend and purchase again. As well, we ordered another one for our Standard poodle. He's actually the instigator then looks innocent. lol With five dogs it can be unbearable if they all start barking at the same time, for example when our post person insists on slamming the mailbox closed. We now own three of this brand of collar. The other ones might be cuter with the pink covers for girls, but they don't work as well. Note: this collar is Not a shock collar. It gives three reminder sounds. The 3rd sound is longer. If the dog continues to bark the collar momentarily buzzes then vibrates. Nothing more. Just as if you took your fingered and rapidly tapped the dog to say no. We say no when we hear the 3 bear, then buzz. Nothing about this collar is: shocking, painful nor harmful.

I can't believe this works! OUTSTANDING!!!

UPDATE: This collar has CHANGED OUR LIVES! My dog has gone from a neurotic, aggressive, attacking, biting, non-stop barker to a quiet, well-behaved, sweetheart who can be in public situations, meet people, and handle new, potentially-stressful scenarios. Absolutely amazing. It has made all the difference for the correction to come from HIM, rather than from me - he fully understands that a beep means "no barking now", and he is able to be silent or use a very quiet voice without me even saying anything. This has enabled him to be relaxed and trusting instead of terrified. He never minds when we put it on him - it's as if it takes away his fear - and he knows he is allowed to run around and bark FOR A MINUTE after it's taken off. I know it won't work with every dog, but for mine, it is a lifesaver. (And he was perfect on the plane). FIRST IMPRESSION: My 12 lb. terrier mix is a barker (to put it mildly), and is very protective of me. He has a huge attitude, based on fear, and I have tried everything to help him. I am getting on a plane in 4 days and was feeling really desperate that I would somehow have to ship him separately - every trial run to the airport in his carrier was a solid fail. I have had this collar for one day, and he caught on immediately that barking equals a beep (he got to the vibration level a couple of times and acted like he was being shocked). I will know more after my flight (oh, I hope hope hope he is able to get on the plane and be quiet under the seat) but so far, so good. I wish I'd tried it a long time ago.
