Nice compact size but legacy capacity for a floppy drive and a full size internal CD / BD / DVD drive makes the case longer than it could be. Drive bay is a nice arrangement with room for the aforementioned legacy drives plus two 3 1/2 inch spinning rust disk drives plus at least one SSD. At first I thought it was a screwed up design but then I realized you can pull the whole mounting rack out, fit your disks, then slide it back into place. Two USBs and audio in and out on the front are useful. Mine is going to be used for a basic HTPC for the sitting room using the motherboard HDMI. That means I wanted a small form factor case I could hide behind the TV and I don't need a huge power supply or room for full size expansion cards. If you want you could fit up to four low profile cards, but you won't get a full size graphics card inside. Not without a hacksaw anyway. That may mean it's not ideal for hardcore gamers. The 300 watt power supply probably won't be powerful enough for Hugh end graphics cards either. Those two factors are why I give it only one star for gamers. Otherwise it's really a five star product. Attractive case means it's a good option for office use basic desktops too, taking up less space on a desk, especially when used with the supplied foot brackets, turning the thing on its side.

If you're looking for a Micro ATX budget case, you found the right choice. The case itself is made of very light materials but the finish feels excellent. No awkward shapes or misaligned holes anywhere. The buttons on the case are very responsive and I had no issue with any of the internal cables being too short. It also has some decent ventilation and could notice drops in temperature from my old case. The case does have two USB 2.0 ports on the top along with a headphone and microphone jack. The reset button is also along the top of the case as well as the power button. Surprisingly, the right side panel can be removed for some cable management which is a HUGE plus for a case at this price range. The only real negative is the supplied system fan feels pretty cheap and you cannot use two hard drives if you plan on having a longer video card such as a GTX 1080 or even an AMD R9 390. That being said, if you only run a single hard drive, those cards will easily fit inside the case as long as you mount your hard drive in the top mount as seen in my pictures. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend this for anyone who needs a budget friendly mATX case.

The FBM-01 case is pretty great for $25. It's even cheaper now. Of course it is. Anyway, I modded the case a little (and made it non-returnable but it's cheapness permits experimentation) by cutting out/drilling some ventilation in the front panel with a Dremel tool and adding a screen mesh to the front fan (120mm PVC Black PC Cooler Fan Dust Filter Pack of 10). My only complaint with it is the pesky non-removable HD holders. You have to remove the motherboard if you want to access to the HD's. Either that or remove the processor cooler which is way more trouble than it's worth. But what should I expect for $25? It's definitely not a "mini tower" as it has a lot of more space than one of those. What else costs as much? A good dinner, a half tank of gas etc. This thing will outlive all of those and provide hours and hours of productive distraction. Just don't try to eat it.

Great budget case! I almost didn't buy due to lack of reviews, but at the $35 price tag I decided to make the purchase and I'm glad I did! __Pros__ Pricetag: I built a budget gaming computer and needed a case that was low in price but wasn't a piece of junk. The SRM-01 did a great job at that. Quiet fan: I almost bought a separate fan to replace this case's fan because I worried a $35 case's fan would be garbage, but it's completely silent! So, I will not be buying another fan. Cosmetics: It's a great looking case. Cable management: It's great. I was able to run some wires behind the back panel, and there's room to tuck all the wires on the front end of the case Dust Filter: comes with a nice dust filter on the bottom of the case Air ventilation: everything flows smoothly. With the PSU and the case fan at the top-rear of the case, all the air is circulated in the bottom-air-filter and out the PSU and case fan. __Cons__ None __notes__ Cable management was nice, even with my EVGA 430w non modular PSU. My 750ti fit in the case perfectly. The description says it can only fit up to 300mm GPUs but there is a lot more room for more. Great case!

I was looking for a budget case that wasn't too big and the SRM-01 was perfect. I love the way it looks, matte black all around with a semi brushed front. I also like the cutouts on the back for tucking all the cables for a cleaner install. I was initially worried about it not fitting the massive Cooler Master Hyper T4 heat sink but it fit nicely. There's even a few mm of clearance left. I had no problem fitting everything in including an EVGA Nvidia GTX 750Ti FTW card. I was able to install a 2.5 SSD on the swinging door, however, I couldn't install a 3.5" drive there. The door would hit either the heat sink or the video card so I installed it right under the optical drive which was perfect! At $30, this case is amazing, came with mounting screws for the motherboard and drives. Packaging was good, no damages upon arrival. Two thumbs up!

I just installed my MIcro ATX motherboard into the FBM-X1 case. It is a tight fit - the rear fan has to come out so the board can slip in. Space inside is very limited, but plenty for my needs - except for the long cables. Those long USB 2 and USB 3 cables to the front panel - I wish they were each 8 or 10 inches shorter. The case has 6 motherboard standoffs pre-installed, I had to scrounge up two more for the end of my Micro ATX board to have any support near the power connector and memory slots. The holes are there in the case but there are no standoffs for them. I mounted a DVD drive and one vertical 2.5'' SSD. There is room for a 3.5'' drive too if you can find anywhere to run the cables. Thank goodness for modular power supplies! Looks very nice and I really like the small size. You just need to be more talented than I am at cable management.

Pros: PRICE. Sleek looking and nice room for most of your components. Fans are silent and move a lot of air. Plenty of screws included, as well as a couple ties. Cons: 1 Tight fit between some tall heat sink RAM, HDD, and DVD. I'd advise to install HDD and DVD drives first 2 PCI slots are sharp and they can't be replaced after removing them so be careful 3 No intake holes for the front fan to get good air flow Other Thoughts: This is a great case for the PRICE. When building your PC make sure you purchase the right size case ( look at your motherboard form factor). Don't leave negative feedback on a Mini Tower case, when you should have purchased a full tower in the first place. Those that are complaining about the case being flimsy; Sure, it isn't rock solid, but go look at a Nzxt h440, Fractal Design Define R5 etc PRICES, and come back and tell me this is not a good deal I mean, what are you doing with your PC case? if you're not propping your feet up on it, it should last a long time. Take care of your parts, and you don't have to whine about little things like a flimsy side panel on a case that is 20 to 50 dollers. I just needed an up to date PC with the ability to upgrade soon if needed. This case allows me to have my basic build for a price that doesn't hurt my wallet should I need to purchase a larger case in the future. Please stop writing negative reviews on items on Amazon/Newegg. It makes it harder for people to purchase a 5 stars/egg item when people are giving it 1 stars/eggs because it didn't come with LED's or seven case fans PS. Sorry for my poor picture quality and a dirty PC. I have been using the case for 2 to 3 months

In my honest opinion the Rosewill FBM-X1 micro-ATX case is more than worth its purchase price. Plenty of options for newer storage tech and for older 3.5" drives as well. Plenty of room for tall CPU heatsinks. You can fit a 120mm AIO cooler in the front where the pre-installed 120mm is as long as your gfx card is 9" or less... I don't think most people would use this case with an AIO solution though but it is possible. The case is sturdy but not heavy. It has nicely rolled edge's You have plenty of room to hide wires. I was able to fit an old Nvidia GTX 275 gfx card with ease which I was not expecting with this case. Being able to fit rather large gfx cards is an added bonus. Stuff to think about. You have the option for a 3.5" HDD under the optical drive bay that secures to one side only if you're going to use a larger gfx it is necessary and you lose the lower 3.5" drive bay option.. Not really an issue imo just a thought. My one and only complaint... It's the Rosewill Logo... I just don't like where it is.. I would rather have it on the bottom of the front bezel rather than on the top left... That's a very minor complaint... It's a solid case for what it is and they definitely put a lot of thought into making the case easy to do a good clean build.

I was totally skeptical that this case was going to be something I would throw away instantly. I was allured by the $20 price tag, shipped. Not only is it a very decent budget case, it has great cable management options so you can hide your unwanted unsightly cable piles and make a nice, neat little organized rig. It's very compact, but it handles my Steam/HTPC box great, which is using a micro ATX board, AMD Phenom II X4 955, Tall 6" thermaltake CPU cooler with 120mm fan, big storage HDD, small fast SSD, optical drive, 4x DIMMS of ram, nVidia GT730 GPU, and a PSU quite well. Everything works great. Front USB3 slots. The fans are quiet. It does the job. I use this in my living room, again, as a Steam/HTPC box so I'm interested in quiet. This is not for someone looking to have the best little cooling overlock job. Get this if you want a small budget option that is real metal and holds together well with good cable management options. It will not handle huge devices, so make sure your GPU will fit, if that's part of the deal, and make sure your CPU cooler will fit, it's tight inside.

This is not about the thick case, like the title probably says. The Amazon Shopping app for my phone doesn't let me switch to a different product, because it's under the same listing. The thick case is pretty cool, but I had to install buttons on the rear panel because the plastic bezel did a poor job of being part of the case. Luckily, the button holes were on the rear panel, next to the I/O for everything. This case is the slim 300W. I built the whole thing for my mom for Christmas, since her laptop is more than five years old and is short on RAM. With AMD, this cost about a third of what her laptop cost when she bought it. I might've done better with buying another laptop, but this became fun for me. It's such a neat case. The drive slots are not even secured to the frame, so I can shove whatever it is right in there. The button to turn on the optical drive is ultracool. There isn't official room for much fans, but the side panel is an option. It sits on the little rubber feet that came in the box, because the plastic brackets for standing it up are not ok in the least. The PSU luckily came with a grill, and I ended up putting it on a different machine. There's an Athlon, because my mom is an internet surfer and not much else in terms of PC use. If I'd put a Ryzen 5 in here, it would be with that GTX 1050 low-profile, because that actually exists and is said to fit in such a case. I have nothing bad to say, so all stars are ok.
