5 Stars and More
Wow! This device is great. Set up as a switch for a wall Air Conditioner which is very high, such that I cannot reach the power switch to turn it on or off, every "solution" to this problem that I tried up, until I tried this one, turned out to be some sort of switch that heated up --- and became very hot. Apparently, they could not handle the amperage. This switch remains cool. I suspect that the air conditioner pulls approximately 15 amps. This one handles the 15 amps with ease. Additionally, I've had no problem with the remote control not working. This remote switch is highly recommended. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would.

... a bit tricky to set up for a novice like me but basically this is how it goes
Was a bit tricky to set up for a novice like me but basically this is how it goes, just turn the battery switch to open and lift off to remove the plastic tag, (the plastic tag is not visible you need to lift off the battery cap to remove it) Then plug the unit into the plug outlet, while it is still blinking press down on the on button on the remote control and then it will be synced. I initially waited for the blinking to stop and it was not syncing, so do it while its blinking. Press the on button for off and I find keeping ones finger pressed down for a couple of seconds turns it on again. Overall very pleased with the product and happy I can leave it outside in all weathers for my outside lighting.

Works great. Makes a great remote control for things with motors, Shop Vacs, paint compressors etc.
Works great. I have bought a couple of these. I use one for my shop vac and another for my HVLP paint sprayer. I was a bit worried that these might be a problem since they have a pretty high inrush current when starting up, but no issues. The only thing to note is that you have to "pair" the wireless remote with the unit the first time. It really is no big deal and very simple you only do it once, but it required I actually read the instructions, lol. At first I wondered why it didn't come pre-paired, then I realized if you might have more than one of these.

Awesome design with the single button On/Off
I am using this to turn my Harbor Freight 2 HP dust collector On/Off. I have only had it 1 month now so time will tell how long it will last. I know that it is not rated for the current draw of the 2HP HF motor but for $13 dollars if it fails I will buy another one and pair it with a Contactor that is rated for a higher current. What I will say is the design of this being a single button makes it perfect for easy use. I place it on a carabiner and hook it onto my belt loop while I’m working. All I have to do is reach down and tap it to turn the dust collection on and reach back down and tap it again to turn it off. The size of the button makes this perfect because you done have to feel around for which button is on or off.

Great for my dust collector!
Ok this is Awesome! Bought this to use with a grizzly brand dust collector in my wood shop. Tried to cancel order after reading that it wouldn't handle startup draw from collector. Product arrived anyway and what the heck, tried it and wow! It works great! 9.99 compared to 70.00 for the one I was going to order. No more walking from table saw to collector!

Easy and cheaper alternative than install new switches
This is exactly what’s I’m looking for! I hate going to the outlet plugs to plug and unplug my patio lighting. It came with the remote so i just stick that next to the door turn on and off from indoor. Love it. Just two things... One, the instruction, may not be clear. When the light blinks for like 30 seconds, while it blinks press the remote and it will sync. If you wait after it finish blinking then Press the remote, it won’t work. I was puzzled for a while trying to figure out why it didn’t works, then got it working. Two, if you have any other wireless receiver like lighting behind the wall and you press the outlet remote it somehow will change my tv color lighting. ??? But other than that I can’t complain.

big help
We have an elderly cat that starting peeing in the house, so she has been an outside cat since the springtime. Now that it is winter, we bought her a heated cat habitat where she can warm up between her trips to monitor her territory. (We bring her inside after dark to a large multilevel cat playpen ) This remote control is a big help because we can turn the heat off or on remotely and don't need to freeze outselves when plugging or unplugging the heater. There is a handy red light that indicated whether the power is on or off. Great product.

Works really good at very long distanse & throught walls!!
Wireless Remote Control Outlet, Fosmon Outdoor works really great even from inside my home to my shed about 70 feet. I use it on my Flowtron BK-40D Electronic Insect Killer, 1 Acre Coverage to turn it on at dust & off at dawn. I tried to see if it would work in the kitchen in the front on my house & in the hall way through two walls & found it would work through two walls plus through the Shed wall. My wireless control is also inside my shed with the electric wire is running through a hole in the shed to the Flowtron BK-40D Electronic Insect Killer hanging outside my shed ,My Woods on/off would not even work very good standing on the back patio facing the shed. I could not believe how great it works at great distances. I am very please and would recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable long distance remote control..

Works great ! I am buying a couple more for other uses around the house.
I have a shop vacuum that is placed overhead and out of reach that I have plugged into this device. Works as it should. For those who didn't get instructions included, or think this is plug and play/use, you actually have to "pair" the remote with the main unit that plugs into the wall outlet. 1) Remove protective film from remote battery compartment (mine tore when pulling the external tab without removing battery cover) 2) Press remote button - should see red light appear on remote (now you know you actually removed ALL the protective film around battery) 3) Plug main unit into wall (red LED on unit will flash for 30 seconds) That is your window of time to press the remote button to then "pair" the two at which point the flashing LED on the main unit should stop.
