Great 4K Blue Ray Player

This is a great 4k player I hooked it up to my new 65" Samsung curved 4K TV and it sinked up right away and my smart remote from the TV programed itself automatically. Loads very fast and picture quality is great

Easy to use, excellent picture quality

This replaces an old Blueray player which was increasingly balky at playing Netflix disks. Easy to use remote. Haven’t figured out how to match the audio coding for surround sound. My old player negotiated directly with my Onkyo to pick an appropriate setting. The browser works but without a keyboard entering a URL is a chore. Offers many apps to streaming sites but I’ve already got the ones I use most often setup on my TiVo. Picture quality on my 1080P display is excellent. I have not yet upgraded to 4K. Overall I am very happy with this unit.

Great Media Player

I’m glad I purchased the Samsung brand player. I didn’t realize when I was researching players that this should be a factor. I have a Samsung tv and the two units together work seamlessly. I now realize this makes the experience much nicer. The unit boots up super quick. The tv turns on and switches to the correct input automatically. The Netflix and YouTube apps work great. All in all, it’s a really nice player. The only thing I didn’t notice when researching was that this unit has a curved front edge. Not a deal breaker but I would prefer a straight edge.

Awesome blu ray player

Bought this at a great price and I love it. Definitely can tell a difference in how it upgrades my blu ray discs on my Smart TV. Have not tried a 4K disc yet. Just got one and am looking forward to playing it. It is easy to use though with Samsung their remotes I find to be at times a little hard to use. This one is better than the one for my Samsung TV but you can see the features. Still love this blu ray player and for all it does, and the price I bought it for, you cannot beat the quality of the upscaling. Highly recommend it especially if you also have a Samsung tv. Enjoy!

It was a breeze to set up and I have not had any trouble loading UHD and regular BLU-RAY dvds. I love built in apps so I can watch NETFLIX in 4K. Everything else I watch on this looks better too.

Great player. Shakes hands nicely with my Samsung UHD TV. Decent interface, and a beautiful picture. Replaced a Sony that needed to be reset several times a week.

Great Basic Disc Player

Seems to do everything I need to watch a movie and I love the really fast loading.The Panasonic DVD player that it replaces took 3 times as long to load. Does not record discs but with a DVR I don't miss that feature.

Great product!

Really happy with this blue ray player! Works very well. Smooth operation with clear picture and sounds great. Optical output works perfect with my home theatre system to give me 5.1 surround sound. Plays many different type discs. Functions well and not noisey when operating. Very happy with my purchase!!!! Well worth it.

Works Great

Wow this player is great super easy to use and it plays everything. I have a 25 year old CD movie that I could only view in my PC. Put it in the Samsung player and it loaded up right away and it even up scaled it to the clearest I could imagine. Highly recommend this unit

Bought this Blu-ray player to go along with my Samsung tv (UN55KS8500) and the picture quality is amazing. Also does a great job upscaling normal blu-rays. I wanted to address a couple issues brought up in the only other review for this unit. I can see the power light from the front at eye level easily its red when off green when on and second is info for the movie can be seen by hitting the tools button on the remote and selecting information from the top of the list. It shows all the timers also shows every bit of info for audio and video from the disk. The UI on this player is great and I found it to be very intuitive.
