I will say first that I have been lucky enough (so far) not to need to use these. However, they do fit well (one size larger to be sure) the soles are thick enough for reasonable walks and do grip the pegs well. Also, they come up high enough to cover just about any boot and there is a flap that seals under the zipper. My only concern is that they are basically vinyl so they will melt if they touch a hot pipe. Having said that I will assume that Mom did not raise any idiots and try to avoid that situation.

Great product

I've now used my boot covers 3x's and I am in love with these covers. They work great. At first I thought they wouldn't cut it because the material is really thin but so far so good. I wore them all day and my feet have been kept dry, no water has gotten in and more importantly they haven't ripped. I even bought a pair for my mother. They are compact in the sense that once removed I can just roll them up like socks and put away in a drawer. No bulky boots in the house.

I took a chance and bought these for a trip to Canada. I didn't have room in my luggage for a pair of Wellies and I also needed to keep my luggage weight down. I wore these shoe covers while hiking in a heavily forested area and of course getting in and out of a Zodiac boat. My feet remained dry for the entire trip and the shoe covers were not punctured in any way. I was really impressed.

Good enough for Alaska...

I just returned from a 4-day fishing trip in Alaska and must say that these shoe covers held up very well. In my opinion, these are absolutely great to go over some sport shoes, if you don't want to spend $100, or more, on true rain shoes/boots. Be mindful - the waterproof material is very thin, so don't expect a boot-like performance for extended period of use. I bought them with intent to throw them away after this trip, as I did not want to spend any time washing away fish slime and grime. I was wearing size 9.5 work boots and XL fit me just fine with some jiggle room. They served me well, and I would recommend them.

I don't know how to judge these.. they do fit over my size 9.5 Converse. The sole on the bottom doesn't go from front to back perfectly, needs to be worked and stretched a little. Despite that, I still say they fit as expected. If I bought these again I might try to get something a half inch or an inch longer from front to back.

Pack like a Light, Flat Pancake!

Going to NYC- my NB walking shoes are mesh! What to do if it rains for days? I had to work at it but got my 8.5 women’s New Balance shoes into the Large. Be careful not to catch the zipper on its cover. So light, flat when folded, come in a resealable bag- I think they’ll be perfect!

Heaviest rainfall in recorded history here, and these covers worked great!

October 2018 has been our highest rainfall month ever recorded. We live on a ranch in Texas and our soil is heavy clay. When I work outside, I wear tall rubber boots, but many times I just need to make a short walk to one of our vehicles then go, without getting our car trashed with gooey clay. These covers slip on and off over our shoes (I bought a pair for me and a pair for my wife) and they are great when we get in the car, taking them off as we are halfway in, then placing the covers in a box we keep up front.

Easy to slip on, good in snowy and wet weather, good traction, worked for a person with foot / ankle braces.

I bought a pair of these because I wear foot and ankle braces. With these, I could fit in my usual shoes and they'd be easy to fold up and take along when I needed to work in wet / snowy conditions. They work well. I had good traction on snow and ice and my feet stayed dry. They are easy and quick to slip on and off (believe me, this is a major concern for me). They are easy to clean. They fit my unusual needs very well. I have not used them enough yet to know how long they will last, but they seem to be pretty tough.

Rain boos fold Flat

We purchased these boots for our trip to New Orleans and Jazz Fest. A few times when we have gone to Jazz Fest we have had rain. It is at a fairground in New Orleans and get very messy when it rains. I only needed to use them for a short time this year, but they were so useful. Fold up flat, they are light, fit over shoes and cover jeans. They were not expensive. At Jazz Fest they should be selling these easy to use rain boots.
