Excellent quality magnets. Do realize the shiny coat to the magnet is extremely think and the actual magnet itself is brittle. You will want to take extra precaution when using the magnets so two don't hit each other. They will break somewhat easily. Unless you've read this review and know to be really careful with them. They aren't toys and will pinch you if you are careless. If you need a good magnet and handle these with care, you'll be quite pleased.

These magnets are extremely strong. Shown here attached it to a small piece of wood to make it easier to use. We use them to attach things to a bulletin board or refrigerator. They Will likely hold the claimed 33 lbs if attached to an UNPAINTED metal surface. However the slick paint on a refrigerator reduces that down significantly as i can move it with one finger (about 8 lbs?). The enclosed 3M double sided sticky tape makes it easy to attach to wood, plastic, or anything else. We strongly advise you to attach them to what you intend to use them for, since they will break if you drop them on ceramic tile, or concrete. You will end up with magnet bits: see pics.

The item description is correct; they are very strong! I needed some for my work bench to stick blue prints on the board and they hold even manuals in place. I think half of one of those would be already strong enough. Good buy!

I wrapped some with electrical tape and some with duct tape, different amount of wraps for different strengths. Reason being, they were a little too strong for certain things. One bar wrapped three times with electric tape holds both, but not at the same time obviously, my pistol or revolver underneath the table. May wrap it a couple more times as my revolver is a bit lighter than my pistol and is kind of hard to draw as the magnets are just wickedly strong! 10/10, would recommend. (Also I wrap them mainly so they don’t A) scratch my stuff and B) break. These magnets are prone to breaking if they clank too hard, and they are crazy strong

Great magnets when you know a few things about them 1) they're brittle don't let them snap together 2) these are really ****ing strong even though they're small, don't let kids play with them basicly ages 18+ 3) If they didn't come broken or with cracks and they break it's your fault 4)don't use these magnets to pick up other magnets of the same type or weaker ones pick it up with your hands you lazy *s*

Love them ! Really strong and smooth . I don't have a use for them other than amusement But I'm glad I bought them .

These very strong magnets perfectly solved my problem. My over door is slightly warped and does not want to close completely. Had major repairs done last year that helped the door to close, but then problem re-appeared. After brainstorming solutions I tried some small neodymium magnets from a store, but they were not strong enough. These bars were perfect. I used two stacks of two and now the oven door closes perfectly and securely. Now the oven heats quickly because it doesn't cycle on & off due to an barely open door.

We ordered a banner for my retirement, and needed a way to put it up on the garage door. Researching a bit I found these magnets, which I never know existed. First, they work. Boy do they work. When they say they can hold 30 lbs., they mean it. Second, a magnet that strong creates another problem, taking it off. You'll need to use a tool, or slide the magnet to get it off a metal surface. In fact when they come they come with separators for just that purpose. We found out why when we took some of them off and two magnets slammed together creating a spark. Like I said, these are strong magnets, and not for kids. For us, the product worked like a charm, once we got a system for getting them on/off. They do tend to 'snap' if you're not careful, meaning they will break in half due to the strong magnetic attraction when you try to take them off. You have to be gentle. Cool thing, definitely not for children, these are heavy duty.

I’m not sure why stretch and easy to remove our options to give stars to. These magnets do not stretch and they are hard as hell to remove. I love them. A while ago I got a hole in my transmission drain pan. All the fluid leaked out and the inside of my transmission was burnt up. So I have been constantly Draining and refilling my transmission with new fluid trying to clean out all the metal. When I first tried to put fluid in it, every time I would shift the transmission would bang . My car’s transmission was a hunky, clunker, clunk mess. I figured why not stick some strong magnets on the bottom of my pan to help absorb the metal shavings. So I ordered these and voilà. My transmission shifts like a dream again, except in first in reverse. Unfortunately magnets cannot save a stripped gear. Oh well . This is probably added a few more months to my transmission if not years.

Very powerful little magnets if you’re not used to dealing with Magnets be aware that these will hop out of your hand, and slam into each other so powerfully they break! Pieces my shatter could cause eye damage! Slide each one forward and pry it up, keep them as far away from each other as possible, or they will attract, and become projectiles? It will happen before you know it. I broke 4 of 10, so don’t say nobody told you! These are not toys they’re serious magnets!
