Works grate

Works grate. I find plans online all the time to build wooden toys for my niece and sometimes they are in CM. So instead of converting them over to inches I just pull out this tape measure

I'd buy again

Imp/metric is important since so much of what I do doesn't have to be imperial.......and metric is sooooo much easier on the math. I support the other 5 star ratings...read them. That's what lead me to buy.

Many good, important features

I'll get right to the point. My occupation is in building and renovation. This tape has a nicely shaped plastic body that fits the hand well. When retracting there is no surface to sharpen the edge of the tape, and no seams to bind the tape. The magnetic tongue is great, has three rivets not two and shifts easily for the inside or outside measure. My wife likes the way the markings are delineated with actual numbers along with the markings. Thickness of the tape itself seems much thicker than any competitor. The last feature....the locking mechanism. Very smooth positive lock and it does not require TWO thumbs to engage. Upon release it seems the lever is power assisted. The only thing I really don't care for is the ears on the tongue. Or on any tape. One of the lowest profiles I have yet to see though. Haven't seen how it holds up to concrete or water yet! Great tape at a great price

Amazing Quality Easy to Read Bilingual Tape Measure!

It is so hard to buy bilingual centimeter/inch tape measures anywhere. For years I bought them at the 99 Cent store and they were tiny and the glue of the label came off and stained everything. And the very narrow tape buckled and cut your fingers too. I have lots of scars to prove it. They don't stock them anymore, as I guess the cost price went up so there was no profit in them. So I decided to be a big boy and get a big boy tape measure on Amazon. I am so glad I did. This is an elegant easy to handle tape measure that extends like a Mercedes door opens.....very smooth and easy and the wonderfully wide tape is VERY easy to read in both languages, and there are no razor sharp edges to cut your fingers. It is SO nice to grow up. Now I'm just worried that I only bought 4, and that my workers in both the US and Europe are going to steal these like crazy. The one blessing here is that because it is a boutique company called MulWark I can bust the workers later and it will be hard for them to say they got it from the local hardware store. I would not have taken the time to review this tape measure if I had not received an email from one of the owners of this small company pleading for feedback to help them grow their company. It is a pleasure to help this company who are making such a superior and aesthetic product. And the magnet end is of excellent quality too!

This Is A Great Tape Measure

I am really impressed with the MulWark 26ft Measuring Tape Measure. It feels so right in the hand, it's comfortable, sturdy and well built. It's super easy to read and has a great stand. The magnetic end is a great feature and real strong. I have and have had many tape measures but this is now my go to tape. This is worth checking out, you wont be sorry!!

Truly industrial strength

I just received this new tape measure, replacing one I've had for over ten years. It has a robust shock-absorbent housing, belt-clip, wrist-strap, solid brake and two fairly strong magnets on the tang (which has a three-rivet attachment). The tape itself is 7/8" wide with both US Standard and Metric scales. You can extend the tape a full 7' (210cm) before it buckles. Overall, I'm very pleased with the product and hope it lasts a long time.

Well made

I bought this because, price-wise, it was inexpensive enough to be disposable, but I like the quality so much that it will take the place of my more expensive tape measure!

Works great!!!!

I operate a window treatment company. This measuring tape is awesome. I have used many brands, including 16' Dewalt. All of them failed me in the field. The tape would be too flimsy and I would have to struggle to get my measurements. This was a problem when measuring wide and tall windows on a ladder. However, this item has not failed me yet. The tape is strong enough where I was on ladder 10 feet off the ground measuring a large window. The width was 70 inches. No flexing and bending of the tape. In fact, the magnet is a plus because I was able to use the metal bullnose hidden underneath the drywall to hold the tape nice and steady to get my reading. The numbers are very easy to read. The locking mechanism on the tape works great as well. I hope this will last longer than my previous tape measure.

Very Accurate tape measure

This tape measure is pretty much dead nuts. I work at a ISO facility as a quality man. Sent this tape to be logged into the system and expected a (FOR REFERENCE ONLY) sticker on it, It came back with a calibration number. When I called our tech and asked how did it get a calibration sticker I was told the whole length of tape is "only two thou off, that's calibrated" It also has metric and standard on the tape with magnetic clip on the end. Would recommend if you need a accurate tape. Dead Nuts.

Comfortable to operate

The item arrived in excellent condition and earlier than scheduled. I haven't exactly run it through its paces, but I've used it enough to be thrilled with it! I'm not a pro by any means, but I've owned a handful of tape measures over the past 40 years. For me, the premier feature of this tape measure is the sliding locking mechanism. Its operation is smooth and solid without being jarring (it doesn't lock sharply). So you can apply pressure that holds the tape more or less firmly, according to how hard the slider is pressed, WITHOUT locking; or push it the rest of the way to complete lock. Time will tell if this fluid operation continues. Even the hand strap seems special, feeling kinda like suede leather, but softer (anybody remember Hush Puppy shoes?).
