purchased this battery Nov 3 2017, I followed the instructions provided to drain the battery, I recommend using a battery drain app, you can down load from the app store. its been more than 30 days of use, so here's they bad...nothing, nothing at all, works great, still keeps a charge for more than 24 hours of use from full and I am a power user most of the day. great inexpensive repair part to extend the life of your phone. I will buy again if needed.

Great battery. I am back up to 24 hours of life with all the whizz-bangs turned on. The older Samsung batteries were no longer holding a charge and my phone would shut down unexpectedly. (Or some screwed up Fugue state- which is why I do not understand producing a phone that does not have a removable battery) I recommend this battery for Galaxy Note 4. Will purchase again.

Ordered this battery on 10/31, received yesterday on 11/2. Very easy to install, and so far is holding a charge well. Will update if any problems occur, but so far, so good...very pleased with purchase! * I know that I would update if problems occurred, but wanted to share this latest info....the battery holds it's charge for approximately 60 hrs before a recharge is needed, with light use. Takes a fast charge very well, and actually so far outperforms the original Samsung battery!

This item works very good. I had a problem with my old phone turning off at about 40% . I replaced the battery with an OEM battery from the manufacturer and the same thing. Then i decied after googling the problem to tey something else. This fixed the problem. The battery was cheaper than the name brand and fixed the problem. It has good life and my phone lasts the whole day just like when it was new. Great buy!

First of all, I'm a huge fan of RAVPower's products in general. I've bought all kinds of things from them including charging cables, a car charger, a power bank, a fast charging wall adapter, a 6-port charger, and even more, and I've been pleased with every single thing. I think their products are fantastic so when I needed a new battery for my Galaxy Note 4, naturally I turned to RAVPower. This is a very high quality phone battery, comparable to (and in my opinion even better than) the OEM Samsung battery. This is not one of those cheap knockoff batteries you hear about in the news, when they overheat and set someone's phone on fire. It stays cool even through longterm, heavy usage, it charges very quickly with and without fast charge enabled, and it has a nice, steady discharge even when using apps that drain a lot of power (playing games for extended periods of time with the brightness turned up). I get about 7 hours of use from a full charge, but that includes heavy screen usage and playing games for several hours. With more conservative use I could see the battery lasting a very long time, and I will update this review when I've done a few experiments to see exactly how long the battery life is. The one flaw I can see is that the battery fits a bit loosely in the compartment of the Note 4, and if you turn the phone face-up with the back cover off the battery will fall out. This is not an issue at all since the back cover holds the battery in place, and I've never had an issue with it losing connection with the electrical contacts inside the phone. This is a wonderful battery, and meets the standard of high quality that I've come to expect from RAVPower. I would buy one of these before I would buy an OEM Samsung battery. A lot of Note 4s have an issue where the original battery fails very early in the life cycle of the phone (about a year or two in) and the battery loses the ability to hold a full charge; you'll notice your phone go from 20% to 0% instantly and power off, and over time it will get much worse - 30%, 40%, 50% to 0% with no warning. I had this issue with my OEM Samsung battery and I know others who have as well. The RAVPower battery not having this defect makes it worth more than five stars, and I look forward to years of great performance.

I asked someone at Best Buy for confirmation that the symptoms indicated a dying battery. He confirmed my suspicion and told me it would cost $100 to replace the battery ... then suggested I replace the phone. The battery cost me $14.95 (plus tax and shipping). When it arrived, a few Google look-ups and 10-15 minutes of my time and the phone works like new. (In defense of the Best Buy person, he was young ... probably 20-something. I think he had good intentions coupled with growing up in a throw-away culture in which DIY repair is akin to magic.)

These batteries have performed well for me. They charge quickly, and power my phone adequately. When running GPS, and charging, the phone does tend to get quite hot, and has shut down a few times; however, the phone did this with the OEM battery also, so I don't think this is the battery's fault. Overall the batteries have performed as expected. They are a good buy. Follow up one year later: Having bought two I was able to swap them regularly in the phone. That was a big plus for me. I am now 13 months out from the purchase, and I had my first battery failure of the two. The useful battery charge life has been fair. On days I use the phone heavily, the battery lasts about 5 hours, but under normal use it will last 11 hours and still have about 30% left. Pretty good buy.

I was so frustrated with my phone before I bought this battery. For the last two months or so, my phone would constantly shut down almost at random, even when I had 50% battery left, and sometimes even as high as 80% battery. I couldn't use more battery-hogging applications like Spotify or my camera, because it would crash after only a few minutes. If I didn't have my phone plugged in it was borderline useless, and I felt so frustrated by this. I didn't know what was wrong with it, but I had a hunch it was probably a bad battery. So I decided to check out this battery as a replacement. I've only had it for a little while, but so far so good. It lasts so much longer than before. My phone could barely last an hour before shutting down, now it's good to go for the whole day. I'm so happy, I can finally use my phone again.

This battery saved my bacon! I went through 2 OEM Samsung Note 4 batteries before I could conclude one of two scenarios; either A; my phone, despite being bought brand new withing the last two years, despite being an old Note model (we're on the note 8 and lol) was going dead, or B; my battery was going. Turns out it was B, both times. The battery that came with the phone, and an OEM battery I bought online. they both would die around 30-80%, barely being used, mostly for listening to music, and couldn't even change songs without it dying on me. The OEM's took slightly longer to charge every other day, and I decided to purchase this Battery. Not only is the same MaH (3300) as my OEM's, but it lasts me like my original battery did before it decided to go bad! I love this thing and if I had the money, I would buy another TBH!

I thought my Samsung Note 4 was dying and on the way to the old cellphone cemetery in the sky -- even replacing the original battery with another OEM battery didn't help. Popped in a new RAVPower battery ... and my Note 4 came back to life. My best advice: if your Note 4 is on life support, don't pull the plug -- give it a heart transplant with a RAVPower battery!
