For the price, this is a great replacement light. It is brighter than the stock light while pulling less power from the batteries. I would have liked a more powerful light. However it still earns 5 stars for the price point and being brighter than stock one.

Almost a perfect match to the old fixture, and works like a charm. Nice and bright - at least as bright as the old one, and probably more. And, I expect a lot less maintenance. We had to replace the bulb in the old fixture every couple of years. The mounting was very easy, although the screw holes didn't match the old fixture. That was expected, so no big deal. It was pretty simple to drill new ones, although you might have to figure out how to work around one of the old holes, depending on how your old fixture was attached. You might also want to dismount the old fixture to make sure you can get to the wiring. Ours was tucked back inside, and took some amount of fishing to get the connectors to the outside of the wall. Not a problem if you have access from the inside, but it's worth checking out to make sure you get at them from one side or the other.

My outside light on my RV stopped working. When I went to change the bulb, I found out the socket was broken. Instead of replacing the socket, I decided to buy this LED unit instead. Installation was fairly easy. The only issue was the mounting holes and screws didn't match up with the old light, so I needed to drill 4 new properly sized holes. I am very pleased with the brightness of this light. With the amber lens in place, it is a lot brighter than the old light was.

The light was very easy to install - about 15 minutes, most of which I spent taking off the old incandescent light that had copious amounts of silicone around it. The light is bright, the lenses are easy to swap and very secure. I was very happy until I went to switch if off. My popup doesn't have a switch inside, so the old light I replaced had a switch. I ran my finger down the underside of this light and nope ... no switch. So it's always on if the camper is on battery or 30A power. I want to be able to turn it off, so this won't work for me. Gave it 5 stars because it does what the description says very well. I just didn't read the description, so it's on me. Buying the equivalent that has external switch today.

I am very happy with the light output from this unit. It uses 5 watts and produces a very bright white light. In the Amazon description it gives dimensions of 5" X 2" X 2" and I have no idea where this comes from. The base of the light was exactly the same as the light I removed. It is 5.875 X 3.375 X 1.875. The lens on the new light was slightly longer but it comes with two lenses. The screw holes on the top two screws lined up exactly but I had to make new holes for the two bottom screws.

These light fixtures are an excellent deal. As others have mentioned, the screw holes are a different spacing from many of the original equipment fixtures, but that is a very small detail that is easily overcome. It's hard to believe how bright they are! Much brighter than the original incandescent bulb fixtures and uses only a small fraction of the power. If I had known how bright and how affordable these were, I would've replaced my original porch light long ago. I highly recommend them.

The shape and size are exactly the same as the OEM porch lights on our 2007 Winnebago Journey. We bought white and spray painted to match coach color. The mounting screw holes just misses an OEM match. No problem, epoxied the old holes and re-drilled. Read several reviews where folks were concerned about lack of mounting gasket so they applied a bead of silicone seal. Wouldn't do that. The light comes to you rain proof. That bead of silicone would surely trap water in the light housing. However, DO seal the hole in your mounting wall where the wires come out. So, how do they work? Exactly the amount of light an outside RV fixture should have. Perhaps a little too much with the clear lens when you are boondocking, so the included amber lens hits the Cinderella zone.

The LED lights are actually waterproof. The housing isn't (doesn't need to be) and neither is the switch that's on it. If you have a switch inside your RV (and you probably do), you can bypass the switch on the unit so it won't matter when it gets rain into it.

Worked perfectly. Same size as the old ones on the camper but look better and a lot brighter. I scrapped the plumbers putty and old caulk off. Sprayed the area down w carb cleaner to get the residue off. Screwed these new lights on and used 100% clear silicone. It worked like a charm.

This light was very easy to install and much brighter than the stock light on my camper. However do not hook the wires up backwards as I did at first it will not work. Otherwise I see some people complaining it doesn't have a gasket, well its basically a sealed unit from the back so it does not need a gasket. You may want to put a little silicone calk around the screw holes as added measure to keep out moisture from the camper wall.
