Another great product from Niagara Mist

This is my 4th batch of these, two peach, a black cherry and now the green apple. The peach is still my favorite, but the green apple is a close second. This kit made 22 bottles of some very tasty, crystal clear wine. I can't wait to have my friends and family give it a try. I do a couple of things different than the directions, not that you have to, but I find it works out well. First, I only add water to the 5 gallon mark instead of 6. This will produce a few less bottles of wine, but the additional taste is worth the sacrifice. And second, I add a couple pounds of sugar during step one. It boosts the alcohol a bit. Not a bunch but enough to tell a difference. Something else I started doing on my second batch of peach that seemed to make the wine much clearer, I don't let it sit on sediment. As soon as it settles, I move it to another clean carboy. I might move it 3 times just to get it as clear as it will get. Then it sits up for a couple weeks before bottling. If you see the picture I included of the carboy, there is no sediment in the bottom. I don't know if there is a taste difference, but the presentation is much better.

A better wine kit

I have tried several different wine kits and this one is different. The directions are more clear and the ingredients appear to be fresher. The wine is still in process but I anticipate it being very good.

Not a huge Riesling fan, but this one is great especially on a warm day. Even made some into a slush which is incredible!

Good Wine, Good Price and Easy to Make

This is a quality wine kit that is simple to make. The flavor is fantastic and the semi-sweet sugar level is spot on. The kit is packaged well for shipment too.

Best wine kit I've ever tried

I've made wine from quite a few kits over the years, and this one is absolutely the best. Very balanced and crisp. Be careful not to pour the content of the smaller bag into the fermenter right away!

Great value!

Arrived on time and loved the price! Currently fermenting, and while I don't need the instructions, since I make a lot of wine, I found them clear and easy. Can not give a review at this time on taste, but given my experience, this should be great.

Great wine

Excellent kit which produced a wine which it was not worth bottling b/c our family/friends consumed it so quickly.
