AMAZING amazing quality. I am truly shocked at how much I love this notebook, given that the bullet journal community standard is the Leuchtturm1917 I thought maybe I was settling by going for this one when it was an Amazon deal of the day but I couldn't have been more wrong! The construction is great, it feels like it will definitely last me at least a year. The paper is incredible quality, it is super thick, very smooth, and a lovely cream color. The dots in the dot grid version are not too dark and not too light, they're just right! I have attached some pictures showing the number of dots vertically and horizontally in case anyone finds that information as helpful as I do. The other pictures are swatches of my set of 100 crayola supertips. I wrote numbers on to the markers with a sharpie since they don't come numbered. As I was creating my swatch pages I realized I don't have any black fineliners at the moment, and decided to try out my fine point black sharpie. There is no bleedthrough and hardly any ghosting!! Finepoint sharpies are NOT the sharpie fineliners, they are the full alcohol strength sharpies that happen to have a fine point and they bleed through everything, but not this paper. Thank you Lemome! The only suggestion I have would be to add page numbers and some index pages at the front. I know Lemome also has a dedicated bullet journal but I much prefer the look of this one with the brown leather cover and pen loop on the spine.

If you're a moleskine user now is the time to switch to this Lemome notebook. I have used moleskines for years, buying into the brand but always frustrated by the average quality of their product. This Lemome notebook outshines the moleskine notebooks in every way: Binding - stitched and glued. Once you break in the binding this notebook has no trouble laying flat. Start at the middle, press to lay flat then grab a few pages either to the right or left, press to lay flat, then repeat going right, left, right, left until you've pressed all pages flat. I used to run a Bible bookstore and this is how I was trained to break in a Bible binding. Cover - Suede over paper board. This is a nice touch, feels nice in the hand and adds a sense of quality to the notebook. Spine - The second color on the flexible suede spine is one of my favorite aspects and really sets this notebook apart. The elastic pen loop is a great add-on and makes storing my .7mm needle tip ballpoint pen a cinch - super convenient. Paper - Heavy-duty, high quality. Does not bleed through nor leave impressions. Extras - Ribbon marker and elastic band are great for keeping your place and keeping the notebook closed for carry. A++++ Highly recommend this notebook. It's a steal at twice the price of a moleskin and yet it's cheaper! Don't hesitate.

Spent many hours looking for a good journal/notebook to use. Had tried Rhodia, Amazon's, etc. They were all good in their own right, but I had very specific requirements in mind: - Very rigid binder/cover so that I did not have to worry about the pages getting torn or the notebook getting warped. What they use is a faux leather type of material which is attractive and has a nice texture - Grid (graph paper) design so that I could align my content in an orderly and consistent fashion Just the right size grid (at least for me) so that I can easily write in the rows and works well for the boxes you use with bulleting - Small enough to be portable and fit into my favorite shoulder bag (Vanquest) I do like the size and it works for me but I would LOVE if it would just be 1-inch longer and wider so that I could include more content - Durable spine that would not result in pages being easily torn No complaints. As you lay it flat, you can barely see the stitching which is GOOD to see because it means it is more than an adhesive - Designed to be written on fronts and backs of pages ("lie flat") I am halfway through the pages on my first one and it is easy to write on both - will get easier as I move to the back - Has enough pages to make it useful for a longer period of time (longer being somewhat arbitrary in terms of what others might think) I thought the pen holder on the exterior of the spine was a silly gimmick when reading reviews and seeing pictures, but I actually use it regularly. I now expect to always have a pen because I store it there. It does not hurt the pages the way I would have expected. I also thought the elastic loop to keep it closed was gimmicky and would just be in the way. It does not get in the way and I use it regularly. It keeps the book from opening needlessly and potentially getting the pages damaged. I don't think I noticed in the description or reviews that there is a small pocket on the back cover. Turns out to be very helpful. I keep a small, thin Westcott ruler in their to help me with some of the diagramming I sometimes need to do. What I also love is that the price is reasonable and sustainable in terms of my buying these in the future. This is my first time to really try using the "bullet" method for journaling and so it is a relief to not be looking anymore and wasting money and time on returns for notebooks that don't work. The only negative I can call out (see above) is a size 1 inch longer and wider - but I can live with this size and it is easy to carry with me.

This is a great journal. I like to write and draw so I bought this in plain page. I was skeptical about the claim that it would lay flat. I discovered that it really does lay flat. It feels strong in my hand but appealing to my eye. I always go for the journals with the elastic closures on them. That helps me to keep the journal closed and private. I am also impressed with the company. The first one I got had lines on it. I got an exchange very quickly for the unlined pages. I'm sure that I will be seeing this company every year. Much, much nicer than other journals I've seen

I'm a huge fan of this notebook. I've been a Moleskine guy for several years, bought my first in 2010 I think, and have religiously used them for years. I saw this notebook in my "suggested products" and loved the color, so I thought I'd give it a try. First, it's far thicker than a Moleskine. The paper is of much heavier weight, and is more substantial. This is good and bad. The Moleskine pages, while thinner, are easier to turn while the Lemome pages require more of an effort to get them to lay flat. I'm only about twenty pages into the notebook so far, but this is the most noticeable difference between the two. The Lemome pages are wider, too. This is great for when I'm folding an 8 1/2" x 11" page in half to store in my notebook. The Moleskine always had part of the paper sticking out of the top and sides, and it would get folded and wrinkled. The page also sticks out of the so with the Lemome, but less so, and it completely covers the side of the folded page. It's a phenomenally great notebook, and has probably replaced my Moleskine addiction with a Lemome addiction!

These are excellent notebooks. They are of high quality material, just as advertised. I world place these notebooks in the professional section for they are professional notebooks. For the geeks (Like Me) out there, I believe the paper quality is series 300 - 400, 125 gsm thickness. This grid paper is ideal for engineers that need to write, draw, and keep data in. The lay flat capability is also a plus. I highly recommend this product to my fellow nuclear/electrical engineers and to anyone that wants to keep their notes in an outstanding notebook. I've always been a Moleskine fan, but my recent switch to fountain pens (specifically wet Iroshizuku inks) has had me searching for a new favourite. Having tried pretty much every other brand out there, I tried Lemome in a 'what have I got to lose' frame of mind. The book comes packed in an individual black carton. Very swish but completely unnecessary. Once opened my immediate impression was one of very high quality in the construction of the book. The faux-leather front and back covers feel great, and contrast nicely with the grey spine. All the usual features are there - ribbon bookmark (long enough to be useful - I'm looking at you, Rhodia), gussetted pocket in the back, and all well executed. The pen loop on the spine is a nice extra touch. I can't say that I see myself using it, but surely some will find it handy. Now onto the most important part - the paper. According to the description the Lemome is filled with 125# paper, and it shows. Certainly heavier than any other notebook I've used. I've tried everything from pencil to the wettest fountain pen on this paper and can happily report that the paper withstands everything. No bleed-through, no feathering, and ghosting ranging from nothing to "if i strain i can just make it out". Overall a brilliant notebook, and a steal at the price. Cannot recommend enough.

Silky to the touch, this is a very attractive notebook. Mine is "squared," that is filled with graph paper. The binding is sewn. With normal use this notebook will last more or less forever. The paper is of a quality approaching that of the expensive wedding invitations you regretfully passed up. You would not want a heavier paper: the book would be too bulky. Show through: Yes with a Sharpie fine point Permanent Marker, black ink pen. No, with a Pilot Precise V5 extra fine rolling ball pen with black ink. The message from here: don't use a permanent marker on this notebook! It is of too fine a quality to subject it to such treatment. The paper is ruled with a very fine light grey line that is easy to see, but does not intrude or distract. It is a pleasant light creme color and is as smooth as the finest writing paper. There is nothing but the graph lines printed on each page to commandeer the format or otherwise get in your way. The real estate is all yours. I love it! It's handsome and sturdy enough to house your Will, or your very best poetry. Marilyn Conant

This is a beautiful notebook! I got the blank one for my bullet journal (I personally hate dotted grids) with the brown cover and it looks SO elegant and professional. It came in a square box that fits it perfectly so it can be given as a gift and look GREAT. It has a pocket on the back and came with sticky tabs, a bookmark, and has a loop that goes around the entire book. The pages are THICK and SMOOTH- exactly what I was looking for. NONE of the pens bled nor had any ghosting effect on the other side yet which is insane. Highly recommend this! See more at thegoldinkpress

I did a lot of research into this journal before purchasing it, and it did not disappoint. 1. The pen loop is genius and lets me keep my pen with me without destroying my journal. 2. The pages (I got dots) are surprisingly high-quality, and none of my pens (microns and some prismacolor pens) bleed through at all, even when I push really really hard or go over something a few times. 3. This came with super-handy label stickers (6 of them). I used them to flag each month. 4. The journal came in a box, which is impressive to me and made me feel super fancy. The only thing I would want is a bigger selection of colors, but I will probably still buy a bunch of these even in the brown.
