  • ✅The only humidor that comes with case Elegance humidification gel that makes keeping the humidity regulated a snap. Be sure to watch for emails from the seller for specific seasoning instructions.

I am new to the cigar hobby. Needed a reasonable priced humidor to store a few cigars. This box looks great. The magnetic seal is very good. The analog hygrometer that came with the humidor was useless. I did the "salt test" 3 times and tried to adjust the hygrometer --- it was WAY off and couldn't be adjusted correctly. I threw it in the trash and got a HygroSet II digital hygrometer (which passed the "salt test" --- no problems at all). I took my time "seasoning" the box. I used a clean cotton cloth soaked with distilled water and wiped the wood inside the box (lower part of box only) several times over the course of several days. Just got the wood damp --- not soaked! After several days of applying the distilled water I put a Boveda 84% humidity pack in the box (60 gram packet). The humidor is working great --- so I give it 5 stars despite the fact that the supplied hygrometer is worthless. Feb 2019 Update --- Have been using this humidor for about 10 months or so. It has done EXACTLY what it was intended to do --- store cigars at the proper level of relative humidity. Have been using BOVEDA 72% (60 gram packets) to maintain the "proper" environment (after initial seasoning of the box). Has worked great! My ONLY complaint is that it IS a bit small ---- other similar humidors with MORE capacity can be found online for the same (or less) cost.

This humidor looks great, seals really well, and maintains humidity like none of my other humidors! I'd recommend against using the humidifier and analog hygrometer included though. The hygrometer wasn't very accurate even after calibrating with a Boveda calibration kit. Get a digital hygrometer instead (I use the hygroset II), calibrate with the Boveda one-step hygrometer calibration kit, and you're good to go! Also, don't forget to season the humidor before using. You can use the Boveda seasoning packs (84% RH) but I prefer to season the old fashioned way: with sponges and distilled water. It took about 3 days (vs. 14 with the boveda packs), and has been holding steady at 65% RH for about 2 weeks now (with heartfelt beads). For humidification, I used heartfelt beads from heartfelt industries (65% RH, 1oz of beads in a media bag) but you can also use Boveda packs to keep your cigars perfect for smoking when the urge rises! If this came in a bigger size and had a digital hygrometer, it'll be perfect. However, still highly recommended as a desktop humidor or for cigar fans just starting out.

This is my first humidor, and I chose this one because I heard clear lids complicate things (leak, harder to keep stable) and, to be honest, it was cheap. So far I couldn't be happier. For the price, I was sure it would be plywood with wood grain wallpaper on it, or fit together like something I made in 5th grade shop class. Turns out it is made with wonderful smelling, nice quality cedar, the lid is snug, and they even include a gel based humidifier to use in place of the cheap sponge one (if you go to their website and watch the unboxing and seasoning videos, they admit they only include the cheap sponge one because everyone seems to offer it and they don't want you to feel cheated, but include a 2nd, much nicer, gel based one with it as well) I did buy 2 of those gel stick things amazon suggested to use once its done seasoning, but I'll play around with that and see what ends up working best down the road. So far I am very happy with my purchase. I am somewhat new and not a very frequent smoker, so 25 or whatever this can hold is perfect for me to keep a small variety on hand without them drying out. If anything changes or happens down the road , Ill update this, but so far everything looks great, plus they come with a warranty so I'm not worried.

When this humidor arrived in the mail, it was packaged well, fully protected in the shipping box. I opened it up and everything was inside, including the hydration pack and magnetic hygrometer. The humidor itself is gorgeous, with a clean, classic look. My first step was checking the hygrometer to ensure it gives an accurate reading. I placed it in my previous humidor for two nights and it gave the same reading as the higher-priced digital hygrometer currently in use. Next, I followed the included instructions for seasoning the humidor (which were very handy). After following the instructions, I placed 12 properly-humidified cigars inside to see what happened. After a week of resting, I tried a cigar and found it to be too dry. I waited another few days, and had the same issue. To resolve this issue, I attempted seasoning a second time. A second seasoning and two 67% Boveda packs did the trick. After another week after the adjustments, everything was perfect. The hygrometer was giving an accurate reading at 67% and everything I smoked from the humidor was properly humidified. Ever since, it's been a great little desktop humidor. For the price, you can't really do any better (particularly given the nice touches like the hygrometer and seasoning instructions) Note that the humidfying disc isn't going to get the job done on its own. A different source of moisture is necessary. Also, make sure you season properly the first time to keep your cigars well kept. For the price, I'd say this is the best you're going to find for a humidor.

I don't smoke cigars often but when I do I like to ensure that I'm getting a good one. Typically I've kept them in a bag and used them as needed, but decided to step it up a bit and get an actual Humidor. This one looks great and is very well made. It comes with a humidity device and some gel to help season your Humidor. After doing some digging I found it better to just ditch the humidity device and the seasoning gel in favor of some Boveda packs. I got some 84% ones to season it with and then some 75% ones to keep the humidity levels right. I live in Colorado so its a very dry climate and they need the extra push to stay at the right humidity. Overall though the Humidor is very nice and is a staple on my desk for when I have the urge to get a good smoke. It does well as a basic entry level humidor for the occasional user.

I wonder if the bad reviews are fake accounts. I read the bad reviews before buying but decided to take a chance anyway. My experience has been just fine. To address the complaints I read about: It was seasoned within a day or two, the instructions on how to season were emailed to me plus are on their website, it keeps a constant humidity, quite easily, and passes the dollar bill test. Plus I currently have 22 cigars, my cutter, and my lighter in it. It also comes with two humidifiers: one for daily use and one for seasoning. I don’t believe it mentions that. The only issue I have: I purchased two of these at the same time. They came with a warranty card that claims to have a “unique” number on it. Both numbers for both humidors were identical. So much for the “unique”ness. With that one exception, this is a very fine product and I’d buy again without hesitation.

As far as under thirty bucks goes, I don’t think you can get a better humidor and this one comes with awesome customer service, too! My only complaint is that it comes with the same cheap hygrometer you get with every other cheap humidor, but for the price it’s still hard to beat.

I really like this humidor. It was packaged nicely when shipped, so there were no blemish or chips anywhere on the humidor. The finish on the outside looks great, and the inside is cedar lined. Mine looks exactly like the pictures shown here, it really is a beautiful little humidor. It passed the dollar bill test easily and the seal does seem good. After seasoning it for about a week with an 84% Boveda, I put in about 10 sticks and a 69% 60g Boveda pack. The RH in my humi is steady at ~65%. I'm extremely pleased with how well it's keeping humidity. I did not use the included hydrometer or the sponge, instead opting for my own digital hydrometer and a Boveda pack. With this humidor, the included sponge and hydrometer are not already taped/glued on the lid, so you can chose where to put them which is really nice. I really think this is a good humidor for the price; it's worth the $30 as it's a quality and good looking humidor.

The finish on mine is flawless, and it holds humidity within 1% of the Boveda pack number. I admit that i didn't even TRY the included hygrometer (ordered a nice digital) or humidifier (lol), so I can't comment on those, but so far this thing is good. It has a nice low-profile that would probably fit in most drawers, and great for folks like me who maybe don't smoke a lot (or need an extra small, handy humidor) but have quality cigars to preserve. Granted this may not sparkle as much as a $2000 Elie Bleu, but for this price its easily a 5-star value. One small complaint, though. The seller really should offer a version without the included hygrometer / humidifier, even if its only a couple dollars less.

Received the humidor promptly and it was packaged well. My first impression of it was that it is a very nice looking box. It isn't flashy, but it looks like it belongs sitting on a nice desk, next to a bottle of scotch. That sort of nice looking. The seal seemed good upon first inspection, so I threw some 84% boveda packs in and let it sit. After two weeks, I took out the boveda packs and put in a small dish of distilled water and let it sit for another 36 hours (this isn't necessary, just something I like to do). The humidity stayed right around seventy percent, so I removed the dish and added to 65% bovedas. RH stayed around 63%, right where I wanted it. I was very hopeful that the RH would hold as this box is the perfect size for a box of H. Upmann Magnum 46's. So, tl&dr, with proper seasoning, this box is performing as it should, and I trust it enough to store the only Cubans I own. (note for the picture, my hygrometer reads 2% low, this was taken right after it had dropped one percent after being open for a few minutes)
