Works great for the price.

It works great for the price. It's easy to read, accurate and has several ways to do measurements depending on what you are doing. It has an on/off button so you can turn it off, but if you move the caliper it automatically turns on, but it does not automatically turn off. I use them in my classes with kids and they have no trouble using it and it's cheap enough that if it breaks it's easy to replace. I would definitely buy it again.

Affordable and Accurate great for hobbyist or proffesional.

I was not expecting much out of this. Having been a trained machinist and knowing quality calipers and micrometers, I knew better but these are actually great. These are great for home and hobby, I would even use then in a machine shop as any machinist knows even expensive German instruments have to be calibrated often. These are an easy way to get precise measurements around the house for repairs or hobby instead of fiddling with a ruler when accuracy or small measurements are needed. Yes these are plastic jaws but even metal ones are made of soft metals, because if you are applying enough pressure to scratch or scar the jaws then you are doing it wrong. The plastic jaws are a plus in my book, this lets you work with soft materials such as Aluminum, gold, silver, wood, plastic, wax or any other soft materials without fear of scratching, as with any caliper you must first close the jaw and zero it out, then you are ready for use. My reason for buying these where that I needed my wife's pupillary distance or pd distance and I was a bit cautious of putting sharp metal jaws close to her eyes. It worked great for that purpose. For the price and accuracy you cant beat the price these are great. Also for those wondering, with the larger jaws you measure outer diameter, with the smaller jaws you measure inner diameter. With the step at the tail of the caliper you measure depth, for instance the depth of a hole. Would I recommend this? You bet I would.

Very accurate!!

This tool is simply great in all aspects. Its always accurate to the .01 mm. It can measure gaps aswell which I use way more that i thought. Im glad i didnt get a cheap one or spend more money for a professional one as this satisfys all my needs beside maybe needing a larger one. This is a great buy if you want something thats great quality.

Cheap Caliper for the Desk!

Everyone needs a cheap caliper for their pencil holder! Sometimes I just need a quick check while at my desk and I've found that these cheap calipers are just the thing! If I drop them and roll over them with my chair so what?!?! I'll just buy another pair! Understandably you are not going to want to do anything fancy with these, they are literally as cheap as you could imagine, but still, FIVE STARS!!!

Great product.

The digital readout makes for less mistakes when reading the caliper. I prefer the plastic arms because I don't want to scratch what I'm measuring. It will still function as a caliper when the battery is drained if you don't have any replacements. Easy to change battery when you get one.

Great caliper, excellent value for price

I'm impressed by high quality level and delighted with caliper. Purchased to measure distance between watch case lugs in order to purchase after market bracelets and straps, along with other wristwatch and watch movement measurement(s). Very accurate, easy to read LCD and does not scratch measured material. Packaging was functional and delivery was quick and painless.

Love it

Certainly beats my mechanical one with a dial indicator -- quite intuitive. I’ve used it for measuring smaller fossil shark teeth in mm (spans 1-1/2”) and antique lures in inches (opens 6”).

Works great for my auto and welding needs, I would have liked a case for this but for the price I can't complain to much
