This frame is really sharp looking and provides tons of under the bed storage. I put it together myself (my husband hates putting together furniture) and the instructions were easy to follow, there were plenty of extra parts just in case, and the diagrams were easy to follow. This was definitely one of the easiest piece of furniture to put together that I have ever tackled in my home. The bars with the double-sided tape are SUPER helpful as well. I didn’t have to purchase a mat or anything to put under the mattress so it doesn’t slip off. Great purchase for our family!

A no frills, heavy duty frame that is easy to set up.

I was a little dismayed when this showed up, the packaging was rather minimal, even upon opening I was curious how this would turn into the correct length frame. Laid out all the parts and saw that all the screw holes were numbered, and the metal framework looked rather solid and sturdy rather than thin and flimsy, bed’s rated for 500lbs and I’d believe it. The instructions were pretty clear, match up the numbers and install the bolts, all the bolts are the same heavy duty size with washers so there is no confusion which bolts go in which holes. I would recommend just finger tightening the bolts at first until all of them are in place, including the support bars, which I found out don’t always line up bolt holes if you tighten the frame down too soon, a simple Allen wrench is included. The support bars are spaced 3” apart, with a few of them having a strip of sticky material to help keep a mattress from sliding, I have a Leesa mattress on mine and it’s within the mattress parameters for spacing. I would also suggest picking up a small tube of lock tight and applying it to the bolts before tightening them down to prevent them from working themselves out and causing squeaking, I haven’t seen it happen, but an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Installation took about 30 minutes, probably would have gone even faster if I had removed the old frame before attempting to install the new one. Being 14” off the floor means plenty of clearance for storage in plastic bins. There are no feet per say, so sliding is easy, could be a good thing or bad thing, but I haven’t seen any damage to my wood floor. All in all, a nice, sturdy, no frills frame that leaves plenty of space for storage. There are no spots to attach a headboard, so would need to do without or add it to the wall if so inclined.

This frame was so easy to put together

OMGOODNESS,OMGREATNESS, This frame was so easy to put together, every piece has a number if you can count up to 7 you can assembled by yourself in about one hour and 15min. But wait every screws is the same, you don't have to try and figure out what screws goes where. But wait, the give you 3 wrenches', alan, skate and a ribit. I put this frame together by myself. In no time, my husband was impress. I told you how easy it was. The frame is strong, comfortable and sturdy. I have slept so well on this frame, I don't wake up stiff and tried. At first I brought a frame with wood slacks returned it the very next day without sleeping on it., in fact I didn't finish putting it together the frame was to small for mattress. I'm so glad I kept looking the high profile make my guest room so high end. This company send you a well thought out thank-you and send about 3 cards to sends to friends, just to say Hi who does that. ps the instruction no words just large pictures no glasses needed. Solid frame, easy to build!

We had ordered a new mattress and needed a new frame STAT. Between the low price, 2-day shipping, and awesome reviews we've read about Zinus, we ordered this frame. And we were not let down! I don't know if I've ever had as pleasurable an experience building my own furniture. The Zinus designers sure know what they're doing! The instructions were super easy to follow and the frame is totally solid and smartly designed. I also LOVED that they included a ratcheting Allen wrench. It made tightening the bolts in awkward places so easy! That's definitely going into my toolbox for future furniture assemblies! I also love the height and ability to get more storage underneath that we did with our old frame. I would definitely recommend Zinus and get another if I ever move somewhere with a second bedroom!

Easy assembly, very sturdy

Put it together by myself, had to retrace my steps a couple times only because it's tough to hold something straight and attach it at the same time. Overall easy assembly, I advise at least 2 people putting it together, it would be much faster. It's very sturdy and good quality though! Loved how the little tools came too, most things aren't that organized.

I had another Zinus metal frame in the past and it squeaked so bad, I mean that thing drove me insane, you couldn't breathe without it squeaking. I really took a chance buying this one given that, but I couldn't find any others that looked sturdy in my price range and this one does have a different frame work than the one I had before. I'm glad I took the chance. This one is awesome, kids jump on it even, silence, and great space under it for storage, or in my kids minds....forts!

We love our new bed frame! We are in a small apartment; this frame frees up valuable storage space underneath the bed. It's beautiful and fits our modern style well. While this did take a little over an hour for my husband to put together, it wasn't a frustrating or complicated process. Haven't noticed any issues with sliding or squeaking. We sleep way better on this than we did when our mattress was on just a boxspring! Also, I recommend this model over some of the other platflorm models from Zinus... this doesn't have beams running along the base of the sides, which makes it easy to slide stuff out from beneath it.

Perfect, even for big 300 lb guys

I bought this to use as a support for my 6 inch Memory foam mattress. Wasn't sure what to expect out of a frame that cost less than a hundred. But I'm pleasantly surprised. Frame was easy to assemble, took me less than an hour. Everything is solid and sturdy, after I tightened everything down this frame hasn't moved. It stays in place, doesn't creak, and even below a 6" memory foam mattress I cannot feel the metal slats. Did I mention sturdy? Just to test how much it would support after I built it I climbed up on top of it and walked down the center of the frame. I should mention I'm 6 ft tall and 300 lbs.

Super strong frame, we love it!

Best most sturdy frame out there! Cost may be a little higher but its worth every penny. Packaging was perfect, only took fifteen minutes for my husband and I to assemble. We spent so much on our mattress, the frame it lays on should support the mattress overall and evenly and we got just that.

Great product; lovely company

The bed frame itself is very well made. It's solidly built and attractive. It sounds like a weird thing to like, but I really appreciated the packaging. It was streamlined without extra, unnecessary materials and waste, and everything was easy to get into. The directions were illustrated and very easy to follow. All that is wonderful; however, what has really set this product above others is the company. There were all these great touches from Zinus--little notes of customer appreciation, thank you cards, and a cute note with the included ratchet. It made everything just that much more pleasant, and it was greatly appreciated. I will definitely look for more products from this company. Thank you!
