Amazing!

This bed is amazing! You seriously cannot beat it, for the price. Assembly was so easy. Only thing I needed was for my husband to carry it to the bedroom, I done everything else. It's super heavy, took me an hour to put it together, that's with my four year olds 'help'. Don't hesitate, just buy it!

Not sturdy. You get what you pay for.

Update: Zinus shipped me a brand new bed, free of charge. I had to jump a few hoops, but they were helpful. Probably won’t last forever, but I appreciate them honoring the warranty. I have had this bed for a little over a year. I am a single woman and not ANYWHERE close to the 500lb limit. The bed was assembled by professional movers. The bed seemed awesome for the past year and I was so glad with my purchase. However, the wood inside the headboard (down by the leg) recently snapped and is not fixable. My bed will not stand on its leg anymore and is now slanted so I will have to get a new bed. A friend looked at it and said that it looked like the wood was very weak all along and just gave in. Unfortunately, the product is now outside of the manufacturers warranty, so I am just going to have to buy a new bed. I am saddened by this because the bed was SO cute.

Ok... that title may be a bit over the top but this is how things *should* be manufactured, designed, and packed. The bed's quality and sturdiness far exceeded my expectations given the price. The instructions were dead simple. I spent more time tightening screws than on the assembly (which is a good thing). Tips: 1) Don't tighten *any* screw until the thing is assembled. When everything is snug then go around in a circle and lock everything down. 2) Don't unroll the slats until you are ready to install them. Place the first slat in the proper position on the frame and then unroll it in place. 3) Lastly, make sure you check the tightness of the screws you *didn't* install. A few of the manufacturer installed screws were a little loose. 10/10 Would definitely dine here again. ;-)

We bought this Zinus Upholstered Diamond Stitched Platform king bed for a guest bedroom. Unlike inexpensive furniture from big box stores like Ikea, it was simple to put together. We had it set up in about 30 minutes. Assembly instructions are short, easy to understand. It only took an Allen wrench and 5-6 screws. I'm impressed by the design of the bed and quality of parts. You can tell the company spent time thinking about how to deliver great design, quality and an easy assembly experience for the consumer. The frame is made of metal which is sturdier. Another nice touch was the velcro attached to the slats (which support the mattress). It keeps the slats in place on the frame. This is great because they can move around and make noise. *Note: the bed is delivered in a large heavy box which is difficult to move by yourself. Once we moved the box inside the house, we unpacked the parts from the back side of the headboard and carried them into the room piece by piece for assembly. If I need another bed, I will buy from this company and gladly recommend them to my friends. 5 stars.

Great bang for your buck.

I read tons of reviews on beds before finally settling on this one. The good highly outweighed the bad reviews. From what I could tell, there were lots of missing parts or it was too hard to put together. My bed came with all the parts neatly tucked inside the headboard (super big advantages to this). The only help I needed, was help getting it up the stairs (heavy awkward package). It was super easy to assemble and took me about 30 minutes start to finish. Anyone with a basic knowledge of putting furniture together could assemble this. It seems like really good quality for the price too. The sizing matched up perfect with our queen bed. Pro tip: do not tighten down all screws for side paneling until fully assembled. The only disadvantage is that our pillow top mattress covers more of the headboard than I anticipated, but it does nothing to compromise the bed. There is one small flaw in the headboard padding, but the mattress covers it and is otherwise perfect. Love love love this purchase.

Highly recommend this bed:)

First off I have to say how impressed I was with the packaging, EVERYTHING is packed inside the headboard. It is easy to assemble and looks great!! I have cats who I knew would start to sharpen their claws on it and amazingly it doesnt hardly show any damage, the fabric is TOUGH!! Well worth every penny, I have already recommended to friends and family.

I just received my bed this morning and thought I'd leave a review because there aren't many yet.. Looking at a similar bed by Zinus, I know they had a lot of problems with the back of the bed frame being damaged, parts not matching up, and mattresses not fitting. I also took note that their product had been put on hold as they resolved the issue. So, this bed came perfect, was easy to put together (took about 20 minutes with brother) without extra or unmattching pieces, and my mattress fits perfectly on top without overhanging or the foot of the bed being elevated (as some had problems with the other one before). Long story short. This bed came perfect and a huge thumbs up to Zinus for listening to their customers and fixing their issues. Also, I attached a photo because I love seeing photos when I check reviews. For reference, my mattress is 10" by Ghost Bed and bed size is king. Note: This is day 1, I didn't sleep on it yet, will update if issues arise.

This bed is a great buy for the price

This bed is a great buy for the price. It’s a bit higher off the ground than I expected, but I blame myself for not properly looking at the dimensions and considering the height after adding a 10” mattress. The outer fabric on the frame is quite nice and the quality and structure of the entire frame feels like something much more expensive. As many others noted, this was very easy to put together. 25-30 min-tops. It took us longer to discard of the old frame than to put this together. Back story: I needed something simple and inexpensive (my other bed frame broke unexpectedly, but I’m moving in a few months and when I move I don’t plan to move any furniture) so this wasn’t the time to splurge. I’m actually quite impressed that I’m contemplating breaking this bed back down, zipping the pieces in the headboard (brilliant packaging/shipping concept) and taking it with me for use in a guest room.

Queen headboard

Excellent product! Very easy to assemble. Looks great too. We purchased it for our guest bedroom and ordered a 10" mattress. Very happy! Literally took about 20 min to put together. Great deal especially for the price. Wish they came in other colors we would upgrade our king bed!!

This bed is a great value for the money. It was fairly simple to put together. Assembly time was about 45 minutes. All pieces fit properly and securely. The needed Akan wrench was included. No other tools needed. The instructions were good. Not great but good. The bed is quiet and sturdy. The mattress (Ghostbed) fits perfectly. It is not the fanciest bed in the world. Pictures are an accurate depiction of product. Adjust your expectations accordingly. Almost a year in this with zero issues. I'm 6' 3" 240 lbs and it supports me very well. No creaking or any noise. It's also very stable. It stays put on my wood flooring just as it is. I did not use the adhesive strips on the slats. Mattress stays in place no problem. I would by it again too. A friend bought the queen size version a couple of months ago and is equally satisfied (I assembled that one too). Same experience as me so far. All parts are conveniently stored inside the headboard during shipping. Be sure to unzip it to look. This is actually a great feature for moving and storage. King size mattresses are 76 x 80. If you are short on one side, like the length, and the mattress overhangs on the width - rotate your mattress 90 degrees. Finally, it is very quiet during those private moments.
