Snaps right on, smooth open and close - Logitech C922x Pro

Camera cover snapped right into place on my C922x webcam. Cover opens and closes easily and it seems like it will last a while. It's also nice that it can be installed so the cap either opens up or down depending on what you prefer. Blocks the entire lens when closed, can't see it in frame when open (unless you don't open the hood all the way...)

Fits perfectly. Attach it from the bottom first.

I ordered a Logitech 920x since the 920s --the one that comes with a privacy shutter-- was completely sold out due to the pandemic. Had to buy this third party shutter. It works perfectly fine. It isn't loose on the camera, and the cover stays up when open. It was a bit hard to attach it at first though. To anyone having trouble getting it on your 920/920x, place the bottom of the cover first, then snap the top into place. Attaching it from the top first didn't work for me.

Using it on my C910 and all good

I have a Logitech C910, and I knew this cap was only for the C920 and above. But I wanted to try it anyway and see what I can manage to do with it. Well, it kind of work. It does not clip to the camera's body like it's supposed too, but that was expected. However, the top corner rest well on the top of the webcam, and it stays there pretty well (see photo). So it definitely works that way as camera privacy cover (test confirmed no video can pass through with this cover on that way). Plus, if later I decide to upgrade to the C920 or above, I know I can still use this cover. So all good ! :D

it is suitable but not as u imagine it

great and cool product for security but it is not easy to install on camera. u have to bir force it to install it and in the end it is not installed 100percent too. but in that time product can be able to do what you bought for too. So that is the reason why i did not send back it. I can use it its working and ı solve the installation wit force so ok for me=)

Does the job and easy to apply on logi c920

This lens cover does not affect camera quality. It’s easy to install as it slides/snaps onto the camera device, it’s not an adhesive cover item (thank goodness). Easy to use as you literally just open or close the latch cover whether you want to be seen or want to be sure you’re not seen. It’s fairly thicc so you can be sure if the latch is down, then nobody is seeing anything and it’s definitely not see-through. It snaps well onto the logi c920 and I’ve ordered another one for the logi c922 I just got for my husband!

Works great!

I was surprised to see a webcam cover that was tailor-made for for a specific webcam after having relied on electrical tape for a number of years for my desktop webcam. With it being a perfect fit for the C920 webcam, as opposed to other covers that are more generic in nature, this was a no-brainer. Does what it is supposed to do. Cover flips up and down easily without ruining the positioning of the webcam.

Simple, works as advertised on Logitech C922 Pro Stream Webcam

This simple product works perfectly on my Logitech C922 Pro Stream Webcam. The cover took seconds to install without any tools or adhesives. It stays up and out of the way when opened, yet easily flips closed. I've been using it daily for about a month without any issues. Two other family members have also purchased this cover and have also had 5-star experiences.

Exactly as describe - no surprises

Small, simple lens cover. Made for a different model than my webcam (mine is a Logitech Pro 9000) I had to retrofit this cover to my webcam; however, the cover is as described, and works well.

Perfect alternative to Logitech's cap

This is great. I don't know why people would rate this down due to price. It's literally half the price as the official one that Logitech sells and it's the same exact thing. Couldn't be happier with it. Fits perfectly fine on my Logitech C920.

The Real Thing for a Logitech Webcam

I have a Logitech OEM shade on my C930e webcam, and comparing this product to it, it's an exact duplicate. I'm using it on a Logitech C922 webcam, and works perfectly. Better than using black electrical tape. Not a value, but try and find one elsewhere during these COVID times...good luck.
