Great quality cage!

I was a little worried after reading some of the other reviews but none of my pieces were bent and the only problem I had was figuring out which screws to use but you can easily figure it out with common sense. It’s a great size and my tiel loves it! I don’t use the bowls though because my bird prefers her old bowls.

Good solid metal cage.

Wanted a new cage for my older cockatiel. No plastic! Plastic parts crack, so I was impressed by this all metal cage. Upon opening the box, you'll want to make sure everything's there, check! As a model builder and model railroader, I was used to reading assembly instructions. Would strongly suggest that you study the instruction page, until you're comfortable with the instructions. You'll need a screwdriver, included, and a pliers or adjustable wrench. Other than those tools you're good to go. Upon inspection of some of the parts, I was concerned that they might have been bent. Do not adjust anything until you get assembly completed, for supposed bent parts, will fit just as they are. After you're finished, you may want to straighten any warped parts. Two wooden perches, are included, yet I added three more perches to give my bird maximum usage of the cage. Also in the box are four large metal cups, for food and water. I didn't use these, as I thought them too big for my cockatiel. Reused some of the cups from his old cage and they work well. Also, there is a play area you can set up atop the cage. Did not use these feature, as I did not want my bird outside the cage, as he does not need to comment suicide by Yorkie. On the subject, the cage is lower than most. I was concerned about my Yorkies getting at Fred. However, even though the dogs can stand up with their front paws on the lip of the cage, they can't reach the bird. This is a fine buy. A well constructed metal cage for a very nice price.

Shipped super fast

As the title suggests, this shipped and arrived SO quickly. I wasn't supposed to get it till around early January, but got it 2 days after I ordered it. Perfect size (in fact, its a bit bigger than I was anticipating, which is good) for my future Green Cheek Conure bird

Cage is what it says it is

I was a little nervous about the cage and the shipping damage I read about. This huge cage came in one heck of a box. I work in the shipping industry and this $100 cage was packaged better than the $5k sofas I have seen. There was a small bent area but I honestly had no issue correcting it and it didnt affect anything. I will say the instructions are useless. Mine just pretty much said here is box, now build the rest of the cage. No idea what all the different screws were for and what parts, but i got it together alone in 30 min and its sturdy and great (sidewalls are upside down as I didnt know until I went to latch them, but my bird hasn't escaped yet). The seller was so quick and prompt to respond to any and all questions, that honestly this cage is well worth it. Similar name brand ones sell for 300% more so yeah you have to compromise on lackluster directions, but you still get a quality and sturdy cage that may have 7 screws and misc parts leftover that you can't figure out.

Excellent product for the price

For the price I think it's a fantastic cage. The instructions are lacking, it shows you how to put the pieces together, but not which bolts to use which is a little daunting at first. But if you count the bolts and try the ones that hold the sides together it's pretty easy to figure out what goes where. I think it took me 20 minutes to put it together once I had the hardware figured out. You will need someone's help to get the sides attached to the front and back, you could maybe get creative with clamps and propping it up if no one else is available. I got the largest size and i'm using it for a sun conure, she seems pretty happy. Other reviews are mentioning spacing somewhere on the cage that's too large but I dont see anywhere that's larger than the bars. Rolls like a dream, looks nice, the flared pan part catches almost every seed dropped.

Great cage for medium sized birds and up

Excellent cage, easily assembled if you are handy with a screwdriver, and very sturdy once done. Some of my fellow Americans are confused by the description saying it is good for parakeets, then feel mislead as theirs slip through the bars. They specify medium sized parakeets, which does NOT include budgeregar, aka budgies, which are the birds we Americans call parakeets. Parakeets are a large group of 150+ different species of parrot. The tiny birds we refer to as parakeets here are actually called budgeregar, aka budgies for short. To the rest of the world, "parakeet" is the general term encompassing many species, and this is what is causing the confusion. This description was not made by an American. It is a misunderstanding on OUR part, and they are not wrong.

Love It.

I love the cage. Got it on time, and easy to put together. Its simple to clean, the two trays one on top and one on the bottom come out easy. The 4 spots to place food and water are easily accessible. The only thing I would add to this cage would be on the wheels, currently the wheels have no locks on them. So if our dogs rub up against it does move. I do enjoy the fact that the cage has wheels so I can easily clean under it though. Everything is sturdy and well made, you defiantly get more than you paid for with this Bird Cage.

What a pleasant surprise! After much searching and review reading, I decided on this cage! It arrived ahead of time and it is amazing! For the price, this is an awesome deal! My husband had no problems putting it together. Couldn’t be more happy! It is built extremely well and I can’t wait to get my baby cockatiel.

Great Quality and an Unbeatable Price

This cage is comparable to $350 cages at our favorite permit store. You can’t beat the price. I ordered another $3metal dish for pellets and some perches and could not be happier. It took my husband an hour to put together while watching football games. We wee so happy with the first that we ordered a second.
