Simple, easy, multi-functional

You can use this anywhere! I have one hooked up behind the headboard of my bed that illuminates the wall, and one behind the TV which I framed. The remote control allows you to pick any of the beautiful colors with a click of a button depending on your mood, the installation took me literally 20 seconds, no lie - I just plugged it into the tv and wrapped the strip around the base of the mount that the TV hangs on - no mess, nothing to attach, no extra wires or adapters, it’s awesome! Very useful, very subtle, yet bright, good selection of colors and you can’t beat the price! Love it.

Nifty little light set! One set is enough for at least 65" TV, maybe even larger.

Pretty nifty little product. I ordered 2 sets because I have a 65" TV, but one set worked very well. The lights come in 4 strips, with connectors used to make the corner turns. I used 2 strips along the top of the TV and one strip down each side. As mentioned, even though the strips are not the exact length for a 65"+ TV, it looks great. Now, I can use the other set on another TV! I wanted these to be a sort of night light for the living room, so instead of plugging them into the TV, where they would go off when the TV is turned off, I plugged them into Monster 6 AC Outlets, 2 USB wall tap surge protector, similar to this - Monster Power - Gold 650 USB+, 6 AC Outlets, 2 USB 3.4AMP outlets, 1080 Joules, and FireProof MOV. I'm happy with my purchase.

Nice Lights!

I was looking at the Hues lights to go along with my Hues set-up and Hub but couldn’t really justify the cost for backlighting my 55” TV with the cost of the Hue. I read the reviews here and decided to give these a try. I was pleasantly surprised by these lights. Well packaged, these lights will cover the 3 sides of a 55” perfectly. The lights work well with power provided by USB port from TV. Easy installation with provided directions as well. On my set, it does take about 10 minutes for the lights to power off after shutting down the TV, but I actually kind of like that as it provides a nice night light effect when leaving the room. I am buying a couple more sets to see if I can illuminate a nice night light effect for my kitchen island. In this case I will be using a smart plug with USB adapter and Alexa to control the lights. Can’t comment on longevity of the lights, but I have had no issues so far. I am very happy with these lights.

Lighting system has many uses

I purchased these to back light my computer monitors and they work great. Very easy to apply (peel and stick) and easy to configure. Sixteen different colors, including white, can be selected via the remote control plus dimming. I think that background lighting can be more useful for computer monitors since you sit so much closer to them than your television. Also, the light given off by your monitor tends to be harsher since you are often viewing documents or other scenes with a white background. I'm thinking of purchasing longer strips of these lights to use as under cabinet kitchen lighting or even to illuminate the toe-kick area. You could set different moods by adjusting the intensity and color.

GREAT! Especially for the price!

I've had this LED strip for about 2 months now and I haven't had ANY issues with them. They made my work desk look so edgy and beautiful! Anytime I'm at my desk I turn these on because I feel that they actually have a positive impact; as cheesy as that may sound. Color - The colors are just all right. I tend to only use a few different colors that are my favorite. The white is clearly more cyan than true white. That's to be expected from most LED strips, especially at this price range. The orange and yellow hues are also a little off. Brightness - This strip is pretty great when it comes to brightness. Perfect for behind your TV screen and it disperses on the well really well. You won't be able to light up your driveway or anything like that, but these are great for most electronic applications. Remote - The remote is pretty simple as this strip doesn't have that much functionality. There's some strobe and fade options that are pretty decent, but this strip does lack sound mode. The fade mode is also slightly too quick, in my opinion. The Negative - I have yet to find anything negative to say about this. Other reviews say they're dull, but I personally think they're perfect, especially for the price! I mean, it's not going to CONCLUSION - To conclude, I would recommend this LED strip because it's so affordable. I've worked with so many LED strips in the past and I mainly think these are great because of the price. Don't get wrong, they're nothing to run home about. But at the current price of 12.99 it seems like such a steal!

I can't say much about how long they'll last...but out of the box, they are pretty awesome. I'm digging the glow in my living room now and I let it fade cycle through the colors. I'm using them on a 60 inch samsung and they fit really well. The 3m backing tape holds firm. The only thing I would change would be making the is cable black to match most tv's. White sticks out a little. Update... 10/9/2018 ..... These lights are still going strong and I have had zero issues with them. I don't even think about it anymore because they are so reliable. When i turn on my TV, they turn on with it and cycle through the colors just as the day i purchased. They even make a great night light for people who don't like the dark. I would strongly recommend these lights to anyone looking to add ambiance to a room. Update... 5/15/2019.... They don't quit. I've had zero problems. The lights turn on EVERY TIME without doubt. I can't say enough good things about them but if you're on the fence on which light to get.... look no further. THESE are it!

These are good for providing a back light that isn't overwhelming

Based on another led strip I bought. These are good for providing a back light that isn't overwhelming. It helps with eye strain without washing out the image on your screen. If you're in the movie theater again and the film starts, look up and to the side walls. You'll notice that some of the lights are on at a dim setting. This rear facing LED strip does the same thing. If you find your eyes getting dry or watering or you get a headache while watching the tv in the dark then you should consider getting something like this. I bought this one as a gift to my next door neighbor when he completed his "man cave"/home theater. This one offers various color options instead of just white which could be good if you have different color walls or just prefer another color. It plugs into your USB slot and is powered that way. The one I have is a wheel you turn to turn on the lights, this one has a remote. That way they are not always on so you can control it when you want.

Great value

We used these lights on the back of my 45 inch TV. We followed the instructions for 60 inches if I remember correctly (we lined 3 sides), and there was just a tiny bit of overlap. Even with my kids constantly trying to pick at them, they're holding up well. The adhesive was much stronger than I initially gave it credit for - especially considering we bought a $5 pack of similar lights from Wal-Mart and they fell off within a few hours. I love the color selection! White does look more like a very light blue, but that's fine with us. We leave these on the fading cycle anyway. I definitely would recommend these lights. When (if...) they ever die, I'll be purchasing again.
