Helped with KP (keratosis pilaris)

Bought this for my daughter. She has KP (keratosis pilaris) which causes unsightly bumps and cysts on the back of her arms. After using this product daily in the shower for a week, her arms are now smooth and bump free. We are amazed!. She has tried expensive creams and even lotion prescribed by the dermatologist with no success, but this ingrown hair remover made such a difference. Thanks for a great product!

Really exfoliates!

I was hesitant to buy the product as it seemed like a soft silicon product. Upon arrival, i noticed it was not really soft but a hard soft. I used it and boy was i wrong, as it really did the job of exfoliating. If you have sensitive skin i would recommend to start gentle as this is not for the faint of heart. If you are needing something that really gets the dead skin cells off then this is the product to try, sensitive Sallys beware.

Ingrown Hair repair!

I have had this item in my saved for later file for a while, but after I kept reading the reviews, I decided to give it a shot. I am not disappointed in my choice! I will say, you can tell after the first use that it works. I have used it about 3x a week, and so far: no ingrowns, and skin feels smoother. I have read the other reviews about how it feels on your skin, but I have "thick" skin as some would say, so it doesn't bother me. If you have used a body brush before, very similar and you shouldn't have a problem on how this feels on your skin.

I used this together with an exfoliator scrub, which is probably too abrasive for most people but I loved it. It hurt a little bit but felt like I was scratching myself all over a whole area all at once. I used it on my arms and legs and noticed a big improvement in ingrown hairs with just one use.

Works wonders, but not for the faint of heart

I bought this product to help treat my keratosis pilaris (pretty severe). In addition to a special KP body wash and lotion, I purchased this brush to exfoliate my afflicted areas. Although I think the body wash and lotion help, I REALLY think this exfoliator does most of the work. I've used body scrubs, luffas, and even pumice stones to exfoliate in the past with moderate results. I've been using the Coolife brush consistently for 3 weeks, and I've noticed a significant difference in the texture of my skin. While it can't do much for the appearance of my skin (blotchy redness, etc.), it has made it silky soft which is something I've never experienced before with my condition. The brush itself fits easily in your palm and the handle makes it harder to drop it during use. The bristles are VERY stiff silicone/plastic. This means that it definitely does a good job of exfoliating. However, it is also rather uncomfortable and not at all a gentle means of treating KP. Those with super sensitive skin or low pain tolerances should really stay clear. Otherwise, the product is exactly as advertised, and I'm really pleased with the results!

If you have sensitive skin, this might be a little rough for you. But I have KP and I use this along with an aha body soap and my skin is looking better than ever! Also I love the handle for it, lets you put some serious elbow grease into your exfoliation.

Skin Feels Smoother

I've had KP for years now and have tried every lotion/cream underneath the sun to make the bumps less noticeable and feel more smooth. Within days of using this product, I felt that my skin has been the smoothest that it's been in years. The KP is still noticeable, but I feel if I continue to use this product on a daily basis, my skin will continue to be on its way to begin more smooth while reducing ingrown hairs.

Yaaaaaas!

I had my doubts. I mainly bought to exfoliate bikini line without nauseating smelly sugar scrubs and adding another beauty product to my subscription budget. Best Buy! Glad I read reviews that said let it soften with hot water because it’s initially a bit abrasive but it works even on thick curly (down there) hair and I love it. It’s gentle enough I’d buy another for facial exfoliation. Totally recommend.

this thing is awesome! i have always had some "bumpy" skin on my arms and thighs, after one use i noticed that they are much smoother! i've been using this once a week in the shower with a moisturizing body wash and my skin feels much softer. i even use it on my face, VERY GENTLY. I didn't realize i wasn't exfoliating enough until i started using this. just remember to be very gentle with it.

Chicken skin be gone!

This has worked wonders for the keratosis pilaris on my arms and legs.
