I love this little hygrometer

I love this little hygrometer! It's only about 0.5" x 1" and is so perfect. It does indeed update very frequently, as when I put it next to my diffuser, the humidity changed within seconds. I love that it is very discreet and not bulky like most. If you just need a simple, minimalistic device to show you temp and humidity, C/F settings a plus, this is the cat's meow. There is no on/off button, but I imagine, given the size/simplicity of the device, the battery it comes with will last a while. Will update.

Great product for a great price!

We use this product for our pet hamsters to make sure the temperature is suitable and it works great. It can be hung, stand up on its own, and even has a magnetic back. A bit smaller than I thought though originally.

Well I received my little Harbor Hygrometer the other day and just love it . It's very small compact size and works like it's a professional Weatherman's meter . My hygrometer checks , up dates itself every ten seconds , it reads in either Celsius or Fahrenheit depending on what setting you choose to have it on . It also has a magnetic pick up point on the back like a refrigerator magnet so if you just want to stick it on a metal sign or a similar material . It works well and I would buy it again . Thank You

For the price this unit delivers. Right out of the box I am very happy, see Photo. I will be taking this to work where the temperature of the office fluctuates a great deal and we have no measurement. Problem solved! FYI the magnet mount, hanging mount and desktop mount is the trifecta of opportunity.

We are extremely pleased with our purchase

These units are spot on accurate! Purchased two of these units with some concern about accuracy reports of a few prior reviews. Took the units out of the boxes and within less than 1/2 hour they had acclimated to our house and both had the exact same temperature and humidity readings. They were then placed next to our high end weather station and in a very short time the units matched both the temperature and humidity readings of the weather station as well as each other. You just can't ask for greater accuracy. We are extremely pleased with our purchase. I noticed that when handling the units the heat from my hand rapidly changed the temperature and humidity readings. It then takes a little while for the heat transmitted to the casing to dissipate and the readings to return ambient room conditions. If you should get a unit that doesn't work as it should, I would suggest you simply contact the supplier and ask for a replacement.

Trent tiny but works good

Teeny tiny but does what I need it to. I didn't realize it was this small but it works for what I need it to do. I can take it with me to work to show how wicked hot it gets in my office when the ac is supposed to be at 72. I'd recommend it to anyone for a desk top little temp thing.

Magnet? Where? (Oh, there!)

If there's a magnet "inside here" as the sheet says, my device either missed that part of the assembly line or it's so weak as to be pointless. And the promise of the magnet was actually one of the features that won me over, as I dislike the clutter of little objects all over the place and thought it would be handy to stick it up on the fridge, then easily move it to the office or wherever. Instead, the little stand will have to do. Not a deal breaker, and I'll still use it, but, you know. UPDATE: Only hours after I posted the review above, I was contacted by the company who says they're sending a replacement. More to come... UPDATE 2: For making such a small and simple and inexpensive product, this company really goes above and beyond in customer service. Soon after I wrote my original review (above), they contacted me and promised to both send a replacement and also to refund my original purchase price (at least, they SEEMED to be saying they would refund; I haven't seen a confirmation of that yet). But, even if they didn't refund, who am I to complain about it: I now have a hygrometer/thermometer that works exactly as advertised (and one that, even if it doesn't stick magnetically to steel, is still a working instrument).

Very nice item!

Great Hygrometer/Thermometer. It was exactly what I was looking for (Well, it's a bit smaller than I was expecting, but that's because I didn't look at the measurements, even though they clearly list them and even show three quarters for scale! My bad!) The numbers are very large though and I'm very pleased with the item. I may even buy another I like it so much. Makes a great/affordable gift too. Would highly recommend May sure you peel the protective film off or it may look a bit dull.

Tiny and accurate for monitoring temperature and humidity

Love this tiny little thermometer, very accurate for heat and humidity. I am using it wit the little kick stand and placed on a shelf but also has a magnet to put on the fridge. I have primarily been using mine in the garage to monitor the temp and humidity and open/ close the door accordingly to keep it and the adjoining walk in basement cool in the summer heat. I can easily toss it in my purse though if I want to take it when I travel, nice to have in a hotel room.
