I love, love, love this brush. Used it to apply wax to a bookcase refinish I am doing and brush made applying wax fast and simple, allowing me to get into all the projects nooks and crannies. Would definitely purchase this brush again. Shipment was fast and on time, and Tatler & Tatum (T&T) even contacted me before I received their product with brush care instructions (very helpful). The only criticism I may have, is that I received an email after I used product explaining how excited the members of the family owned and operated business gets upon receiving reviews (mom giving regal, matronly golf clap, father doing pushup ((please ask his to do two for me, I really need the exercise, and that could inspire me)) the brother running into a busy intersection and hugging complete strangers, and the marketing brother downing a shot of tequila ((during business hours, gotta respect that))). You really have to respect a business run by fun people selling quality merchandise. Keep up the good work guys, and please post a video gotta see the jubilation upon receiving review.

First, let me state that I have not been solicited or recompensed in any manner by the manufacturer. This is a true statement of my experience with this brush. I almost didn't buy this brush. The reviews stating that it splayed out after drying didn't bother me. Anyone who has used a brush like this knows that you have to wrap the bristles and hang it after cleaning. Just like a stencil brush. What did bother me were the statements about bristle loss. I was afraid that they would not be securely attached to the ferrule. That was not the case. I have lost a few bristles. That is to be expected in a new brush or any brush for that matter. Before using it the first time, I flicked it back and forth and combed through it with my fingers. Probably 10 bristles came out. Then I wet it and swirled it around in my hand. Lost a few more bristles. But they went down my sink, not onto my project. I have had a few come loose onto the two pieces of furniture I have painted in the last week and a half. I just picked them out of the paint and brushed over. No big deal. What is a big deal, is the smooth finish this brush gives. It spreads Dixie Belle Paint like a dream. I am using much less paint than I normally do also. And it dry brushes better than any other brush I have used. Gonna have to order a few more. I highly recommend it for chalk painting. You will not be disappointed!

I've never had the need before to own a wax brush, but thought I'd give one a try - I've been using soft cotton rags to applying the finishing waxes I've used on a few projects. Due to my limited need for a brush like this, and the seemingly outrageous prices for other wax brushes that sure looked like they were extremely similar to this one, and due to the great reviews for this Tatler & Tatum one, I gave it a try. I've just used it for applying Miss Mustard Seed brand wax to a small dresser I faux finished with chalk paints, and I'm totally happy with how this brush performed. I also used mineral spirits (as stated in the care instructions) to clean it and that worked fine and the bristles are soft and ready for the next use. I highly recommend saving some money and purchasing this one.

This brush works great with Annie Sloan chalk paint. This is my first time using chalk paint. I love that it only takes a few coats to cover using this brush. I tried other brushes and they take longer (more coats). I purchased two of these brushes - one for paint and one for wax. I haven't used the wax yet. So far the brush is holding up though since I followed instructions on how to prep it before paint and it washed well also. I'll definitely purchase again!

I received three of your absolutely amazing brushes for Christmas. I couldn’t wait to try them out. I’m working on a 20’s dining room set, and I wanted to send a pic of one of the chairs. Your brushes hold paint very well. I had no issues with losing bristles. Control of paint and over all comfort in my hand was awesome. Clean up was easy, and it held its shape. I will send another pic of the final project and give you a update. I think this might be the start of a very long relationship. Thank you. Your new friend,

Paint went on smooth and even using chalk paint. Cleans well and durable!! I had to get in little delicate spots using this brush and it held up really well. Only downfall is that it’s a little heavy and my arms are killing me, but the end result made it all worth it. Thank you!

I was shopping around for a round brush for a painting project I had in mind and thought that $20 for a round brush from Home Depot or Lowe's was just too much. So I came across this brush and thought why not lets try it! Let me tell you it paints wonderfully and it doesn't lose to many bristles. I painted 2 small end tables and really only lost one bristle that I noticed. Painted great in my opinion for me a person who is not a professional painter and just needed a round brush to chalk paint tables around my house it did a great job.

I purchased two brushes for use in chalk-painting and waxing a large piece of furniture. I did some research and brushes of this style kept appearing. Though friends told me they'd used ordinary brushes with chalk paint, I bought these anyway, based on other customer reviews. They're wonderful to use and delivered the results I'd hoped for when I began the project. I always look after my brushes and believe these will last for years. Very happy that I bought them. Update: love these brushes so much that I just bought a third! Very useful to have several when working with multiple colors/waxes on one project!

I am a chalk paint fanatic and have been looking for a brush comparable to the Annie Sloan brand because I can't bring myself to spend another $50 on a brush, so I decided to give this brush a try based on reviews. I am so glad I did...this is now my go to brush...I love it! That being said, I will admit that I came close to returning it after using it the first and even second time because the bristles kept falling off while I was using it. I decided to give it a third try and I'm very glad I did...this brush is amazing (after you break it in) and it puts on a great coat!

This brush is fantastic. If you do as instructed, and run your fingers through the bristles to remove loose ones (I did it for 3 minutes before use) it didn't shed at all during the first use and only shed 2 bristles the next time I used it. I am buying another one because the first Item I painted had been peed on buy my sons dog and I couldn't get the pee smell off the brush. I will continue to purchase this brush as often as I need to.
