Excellent kettle, does everything right. (But plastic avoiders look elsewhere.)

This works as advertised. It's fast, the auto shutoff works as it should. The handle is ergonomically comfortable, so that it's easy to use even when full. The clear (plastic) window is quite useful for checking the level of water. Of course, if you're concerned about any plastic being on the inside, then this isn't the kettle for you. (I don't have a problem with that, but don't need to have an argument about it.) There was a little plastic mesh thing on the inside of the spout, which is easily removed. I didn't see why I needed that at all, it's not like I'm boiling water with debris in it. I would take off half a star if I could for the no stainless steel on the inside of the lid, that would have been nice just for easy cleaning.

Nice electric kettle great price

I have been searching high and low forvan electric tea kettle since my old one broke down on me. I came across this one as it was the best seller. Packaged well, warranty and instructions are included. I boiled my first fill up to clean it at first. It was a slow boil at that time and it took about 5 minutes to finish. The next fill up was ALOT quicker boil. I like the push button to open the lid. Easy sight for how much to fill, and gets the water piping hot, it also keeps it warm for awhile. I can't complain about this tea kettle, especially not about the price. It does what it needs to!

Love it

Love this thing, heats water fast and turns off, don't have to run back into the kitchen to remove it from the stove burner like a normal tea kettle. Only had it a month or so, hope it lasts a long time.

I used an electric kettle when I was traveling via an Airbnb. I was dubious of purchasing one, as I thought it may be a novelty but and I’d soon have another thing on my counter that I didn’t use but the electric kettle is awesome. Use it for a multitude of things , even cleaning out my son’s water flask.

It is really fast!

This kettle came super fast! I guess I didn’t realize how large it would be, but that is awesome. I heated up the full 1.7l just to see how long it would take and it only took 5 min to start boiling that much water. I will probably just use smaller amounts of water for tea and stuff, but it’s going to be so fast! It also has an area under the base to wrap the cord which I really like.

Perfect if you forget you're making coffee

After my stove top kettle melted (only slightly!) when I forgot I was heating water and went for a walk I went looking for a kettle that was smart enough to turn itself off. I chose this model because of its reasonable price and its stainless steel build. There were some glass models I was eyeing but I have a few counter surfing pets who had already destroyed at least one glass french press, so they were a hard pass. This kettle heats well, reasonably quickly, and shuts itself off when it reaches a boil. The water will stay hot for a good while if you happen to forget about it. All in all, a great invest for hot water AND peace of mind.

This is a very nice product!

When I ordered this, I held my breath. I did not know if the low price reflected low quality. So far, it has worked perfectly. It boils water VERY quickly, within two minutes. It is great when I want a cup of tea. I do not have to screw around with the microwave, and risk super-heated water that might explode when I move the cup. I also use this for my morning cup of coffee through a single cup, pour over brewer. I do not rate the durability as I have only had this a week. It seems to be solidly made, and it is very convenient. I say buy it!

I love it!

I will not go into a long explanation of five stars with pros and cons and a long drawn out review but I will say, I love this! I have converted from coffee to tea and this is so easy to fill up the night before and turn it on in the morning. Much easier than my stove top kettle.

My kettle was broken so I need a new one. I searched a lot of the kettles in Amazon for three more days and still couldn’t decide. Finally, I put this item in my shopping cart and hoped this will be the one for me. The kettle looks great and quality is great too. The stainless material from outside to the inside. Especially the inside part will be easily to clean. The most part that I like is the strainer. There is small strainer clips on the place where the water comes out. So, you can put tea leaves in the kettle and pour without the tea leaves. This is so conveniently. Moreover, the water boils around 3-5 min. So let’s why I give this item for 5 stars!

It's great.

This holds so much water and it heats up SO quickly. In the morning I turn it on and before I can have my toast buttered it's already boiling. I use this for tea as well as making pour over coffee. It's great.
