I bought a pair of these to mount my 622 and flash on my light stand. These work great so far and since you get two, this is a great value. Make sure you lock your flash into the unit just like mounting in your body otherwise it'll slide around and potentially fall off.

This product is fantastic. My only complaint is the sticky grip tape on it... it fell off in the first use, actually caused my whole rig to slide down from 10 ft up... luckily it's an LED lamp with a plexi diffuser, so it's not terribly heavy... it only rotated, it did NOT fall! So they DO work great! Without the grippy tape it worked better... Note to company... maybe just texture the metal there and powder coat or 'trunk liner' spray!

My initial observation and feel says this is a sturdy durable clamp. I’m not a professional videographer. I do stuff for fun for my friends on YouTube. I don’t have a following and don’t care to. But I needed a simple solution to hold my iPhone steady. I owned a tripod and a selfie stick. I just needed to get the two to work together. It’s not an ideal fix for heavier items. The selfie stick is alumminum and works fine for my iPhone. So this cheap inexpensive solution worked for me at this point. I have not used it in videoing yet so I can’t attest to how well it will stand up. Time will tell. I does feel sturdy and well constructed. If my feelings change I will update here.

Ordered a pair of these economical and useful clamps. One had defective thread on the umbrella shaft clamp device. Emailed supplier, who replied quite promptly and immediately sent a replacement. No muss, no fuss, says good things for the seller.

TIP: Attach the umbrella first, then strobes, because the set screw for the umbrella is blocked by the strobe set knob. For the most part, I use the bracket with one Nikon 700 strobe, and one Lume Cube that serves as a modeling light, which works surprisingly well.

NOT for hard use. If you are looking for semi-professional use, this is not for you. One of the pieces broke due to plastic material in my 3rd time I use it, even dough if you handle with care could work. If you are thinking to set it for a studio and not move them to much, they could work.

Swivel bracket is no joke. My cheap light stands envy these guys! Quick release, standard box or speedlight insert included. Swivel securely locks in place, and the high grade metal used means they will stay in place and last. This is professional grade, so they have weight to them. Buy once use for life!

For this price, I really liked these mounts because of its sturdiness & quality of the material. And the customer service is too good. I would really prefer this store and if you have any questions or problems with your gear, don't hesitate to ask them and they are on top of it to provide better service..

What more can you ask... they are cheap and basically work. While you can't exactly calibrate down to a fractional degree, that is not what they were designed for... they give me a "meh... yeah... level enough" reading and protect the hot shoe clamp.

I had never seen these types of clamps before. After trying them I couldn't be happier. By attaching a tripod head they have given me quite a bit of flexibility in mounting a DSLR camera in a number of awkward positions. I will probably be purchasing more!
