replacement for old knife block! great

My old knife block was black and looked awful from so much use. But the knives were still good. This looks great in my kitchen and is so sturdy. Many knife slits to hold everything plus extra for kitchen scissors and accessories. Love it!! 5 stars.

Love it!

I bought two of the knife blocks because I’ve collected so many knives over the years. I wanted to be able to keep all or most of my knives in view so I could easily access them. The blocks actually exceeded my expectations. They’re sturdy, and because of the rubber feet on the bottom I don’t have to worry about the knives touching and damaging my new quartz counter tops. I didn’t want anything too massive or heavy. The big bonus for me is the fact that they match my kitchen cabinets exactly and they don’t take up too much counter space.

Handsome block

Very handsome wooden block for knives. We only use it for our Chef’s, Paring, Boning knife and one pair of scissors. The hole for the honing steel seems meant to be only for that, as I’m unable to find a ceramic honing rod that has a diameter that will fit in that slot. Also when buying knives with this block ensure you take into account the height of the blade, as my Victorinox 8” Chef’s knife is too tall to fit nicely

Dont let your knives bottom out cuttiing your counter top!!

I liked the wood, the proper size for my kitchen and it allows me to keep my tools {knives} close at hand when I cook. I use the steak knife slots for my trimming and paring tools. I am putting more substancial rubber feet on it. Very nice!!

plenty of knives

I had a storage block from Wolfgang Puck - had taken their knives out and put in my supply of knives - am selling the Puck knives and storage unit - love the look of it - plenty of storage

good looking knife block

nice looking and holds most of my kitchen knives. one exception is a large knife that will fit either of the two larger slots, but won't go in all the way. if one of those slots was about a quarter inch larger, it would be perfect.

Very nice block

The wood, fit and finish was better than I expected. Looks much better than my old Henckels block and all my knives fit great.

Beautiful Knife Block!

This knife block is beautiful! My assortment of knives fit in the slots perfectly and do not stick out on the bottom. I like that it had more than just one bigger slot since I have both a santoku knife and a chefs knife. I love it!
