My kids played with these with some of their friends. They absolutely loved them so we ordered them. I have to say this is one of the best things I have bought for them. All of my kids(1, 2.5, 5, 7, and 10) enjoy playing with these and building anything their imagination can create. We’ve only had them a few hours but I’m confident they’ll be pulled out frequently. Having bought the 120 piece set, I assumed there would be enough magnetic shapes to be shared well among my kids. We definitely need more of the magnetic shapes for 5 kids. It was definitely an oversight on my part and I am very pleased with what did come in the box such as letters that fit inside of the square shapes. I will be looking to order more of the magnetic shapes in the near future.

My 4yo is absolutely obsessed with these! I ended up buying another pack for him and a third one for a friend's kid, who is now also obsessed with them. These are super high quality and you really can't tell the difference between them and the brand name ones. (They fit together perfectly with the brand named ones.) I cannot believe how much cheaper they are. I really like this set because it comes with square alphabet letters and numbers. You can push the squares into the square magnet ones. It's hard to describe... Just trust me, it's cool! The car wheels are super unique, I haven't seen them in other packs. The coolest thing is probably the ferris wheel. It actually spins! Totally worth every penny!

So amazing I bought two more sets! My kids love them! I love that they can spell words in their creations!

I got these for my daughter for Christmas because she played with something like them at a family members house during thanksgiving. These are just the same as the more expensive ones and you get more tiles. It is way better than building blocks since you can make things 3d and it uses more thinking and creativity. Love these and all my kids enjoy playing and they are 11, 6, and 3.

I saw some review complaining about those non-magnetic blocks. But now they are selling the 2nd generation and those non-magnetic blocks are actually add more fun. My kids made some really cool things. I bought the 1st generation in store before, but my kids didn't like very much because the blocks couldn't stick very well and were easily collaps. Unlike the 1st generation, the magnetic blocks of the 2nd generation stick to each other well and the piece of work can stay there until you want to take it apart. The kids are much more satisfied with what they have done.

You know you have a winner when the adults play with it just as much as the kids! My two adult sons couldn't stop playing with these! Bought for a toddlers 3rd birthday. Really strong magnets and lots of variety mean the possibilities are endless. At first, the ferris wheel base seemed limited to only making a ferris wheel. but then, I saw the inspiration guide. When you see the size of the box--smaller than a shoebox--you might think that there isn't much in there. But, the variety makes this a non-issue. I've bought other magnet toys for her in the past. The magnets were quite a bit weaker and it was hard to keep them together. With this one, the magnets are so strong that the act of building with them only makes the structure stronger. In addition, the plastic is tougher, but with smoothly rounded edges, so they don't feel as fragile as the other brands. Would definitely get more of these and add to her collection!

My 4 yr. old son is an avid “builder” of train tracks, blocks, and most recently...magnetic tiles. We originally started looking at higher priced brands only to realize we could get them at a fraction of the price. This is his 3rd set of tiles but these were by far the best! We were unable to find the Ferris wheel assembly and wheel assembly as part of our previous sets without paying a much higher price. Not only do this set come with the Ferris wheel assembly and 2 wheel assemblies, it came with just as many tiles as our last set as well as the alphabet and number tiles. In the previous set I ordered from another seller, I had to stick labels on the letter and number tiles. The tiles have the same quality as the higher brands. You definitely get more bang for your buck and the customer service has been absolutely awesome. I highly recommend this product.

I did my research before purchasing these tiles. I knew before buying them that they were different than competitors but they are not as bad as other people reviewing this item are making them out to be. I was looking for something fun for my ADHD 5-year-old to play with. Knowing that my child can sometimes lose interest in a toy after playing with if for a few days I didn't want to spend twice as much money on more expensive tiles. My child actually really enjoys putting the non magnetic tiles into the magnetic tiles and then using those on the Ferris wheel, she likes spelling her name and counting with them as well. You can be creative with what you have. I love that this comes with an insert to show different things that you can make. My daughter will follow the picture directions and make things on her own, she is determined and very independent. We already had a set of 14 tiles that don’t belong to Dreambuilder but they are compatible. Just to point out some discrepancies that were put on more critical reviews -The box that I received said "MAGNETIC" -The booklet that comes with this box does have pictures for things you can build with pieces that don't come with this set but other companies do the same thing. Perhaps they’re showing what what other products available and what you can do with them. -The magnets are really strong and will hold the other tiles together, it's not like you child is building things with a deck of cards. The magnets are also located in the middle not the corners. And last but not least, being disappointed because YOU as the customer read over how many magnetic vs non-magnetic tiles you were going to get is not a reason, in my opinion, to give a bad review on this product. I would purchase these tiles again in a heart beat!

I purchased this set for my 4 year old grandson who loves to play with Legos. He really enjoyed building with the magnets although it really tested his dexterity! It was a little difficult for him to start things off at first but once he got the hang of it- he played with them on and off all afternoon!! He built all of the suggested forms and then started using his imagination, which I love!! He was asking if we could get more of them by the end of the day! Good quality. Bright and colorful and magnets hold well.

Just as good as Magformers but at a much better price! My kids (ages 7,10,12,15) love these things! I even play with them! They are good quality plastic and have nice strong magnets and work with the Magformers brand if you have existing sets. I recommend skipping the brand name and going for these because they are pretty much the same but more reasonably priced.
