Bought this for my daughter with autism. She LOVES it, and it helps her anxiety. She will stare at it for a very long time and get lost in it. I thought it was a cool little gadget, but it is mesmerizing to her. My other two kids want one now, so I'll be buying two more of this. Good product for a good price.

Cool toy!

Just as expected. Works great as a timer for anything. We use it for a “calm down” and toothbrush timer. A chill toy to take in the doctor office or grocery store... Doesn’t hold attention very long but that’s also expected.

Great tool for calming 6 yr old

I bought the Hypnotic Liquid Motion Spiral Timer for my 6 yr old grandson who has experienced anxiety when he began kindergarten this past year. I'm hoping he will be able to use this in class, along with the other skills he's learning, to help calm himself when he gets anxious rather than displaying negative, disruptive behaviors. The toy appears well made, it's a nice compact size that will easily fit in his backpack, yet large enough to be seen. The red color is bright, I haven't timed the bubbles to determine the length of timing. The timing aspect may prove to be an advantage,as his teacher could use that to determine if the toy is helping to calm him and how long it takes, I didn't realize it was also a timer! My grandson was very interested in the toy when I presented it to him and explained how he could use it in school, he explored how it worked and played for over half an hour, then came back to it several times over the evening we spent with him.
