Charged quickly and holds the charge as expected

Ordered this as a replacement for a black and decker model that lasted 3 summers. I received the replacement battery quickly and safely packaged. It charged up quickly and the charge is holding well as expected. We have only had this for a short time so it is premature to say how long this may continue though I'm hopeful it will last at least as long as or longer than the black and decker model.

Battery as good as original for almost half the price!

This battery is great. Fits the equipment perfectly and would certainly recommend buying it to anyone. Used it the day it arrived because it was about 75% charged and as more capacity than the original equipment.

Great replacement/supplemental battery

I purchased this battery when I bought my B&D lawn blower/vacuum. I prefer a 2nd backup battery when I am working as it simply saves time to have one available. This battery works as well as the original! Great buy!

EXCELLENT PRODUCT - awesome price!

...looks and works exactly like the original brand name Black and Decker battery that came with my cordless leaf vac...This battery gave me an HOUR of work time which is triple the original, fits and charges perfectly in the original charger and enabled me to COMPLETE my task instead of having to return to it after recharging or finish up by raking and bagging...a much more productive and efficient use of my time! ...it is not much heavier than the 20 minute one and I am extremely pleased with this purchase...even though I got mine free with Amazon reward points, it is WORTH EVERY PENNY OF THIS REASONABLE PRICE and I plan to purchase another one so I can have the power to fine tune my leaf clean up jobs or do more work... highly recommended...shipped quickly. No problems

I haven’t had this long enough to fully evaluate. I’ll just say I love the lights that tell you how much charge is left, after 30 days no complaints. One exceptional item I’ll note to date, I have quite a few battery powered tools and if you leave the battery in them while stored it dies. Not these, my wife mainly uses the trimmer and never removes the battery and it doesn’t discharge which is very helpful frankly. That probably speaks more to the trimmer design than the battery, but just sayin’ it’s an important issue.

Great battery!

This battery is identical to the one that came in our Black and Decker Weed Trimmer. We have a half acre lot and I can trim almost all the edging on one battery. Needed a second one to finish up. These get used weekly in the summertime.

This is without a doubt the best 40 volt rechargeable available today. I have a good sized area to maintain and this battery far outperforms the 40 volt batteries that I had been using in my equipment. I cannot say enough in support of this battery. I leave it on the charger so that it is ready to go when I need it. I will be adding another one to my backup inventory.

Perfect battery for B & D string trimmer.

So far - so good. I searched for almost a year for this battery. I have a Black & Decker 40 V string trimmer and was searching for a second battery. NOBODY had any. One day on Amazon I looked again - and there it was. Less $$ than at my big box store where I bought the string trimmer and this big box store at last check still did NOT have this battery in stock. I have 4 acres and could almost finish what trimming needed to be done therefore I wanted a second battery to have to finish the trimming job. Thank you Powilling

This company stood by their warranty

I bought this battery to accompany the Black and Decker trimmer also purchased. Oddly enough, there were no B&D batteries available for purchase, so I went with the Prime Choice. We used the battery 3 times and it showed red lights indicating that it was damaged. Definitely thinking this was not fair, I contacted the manufacturer and was pleasantly surprised to hear from them within hours and within a few more hours, were contacted again with the info that a new battery was already on the way. Very grateful for the honest and fast service. I would buy from this company again.

Great Replacement, Long Life, and Powerful

I have a Black and Black 40v weed whacker I bought last year from Amazon (I chose the one with the most reviews). I always have to do my front yard, recharge the battery, and then sometime later in the week, do the back. This Spring, I said to myself, "F this MFing S, I'm getting a second battery." So I did, I got this one, and let me tell you, I'm glad I did. Sure, it means more backbreaking yard work that my wife watches me do, alone, from the comforts of our living room, but you can't hold that against the manufacturer, they're just doing their job. While she sips lemonade, watching Catfish and Ghost Whisperer, I can go easily 50% longer than with my one year old B&D stock battery. The power output is better as well, with my old battery I have to turn the power setting on the weedeater all the way up, and with this battery, I can achieve that same power level by turning the unit down to 4, from 6. If you're having issues with your stock battery holding its charge, or just need longer runtime, I'd definitely recommend this battery, it's better than my original, at a lower price.
