Really lights up the RV!

These lights are great. I had the original lights that came in the RV and I had replaced the bulbs with LED bulbs which were nice for running cool and low power consumption but were not very bright at all. They didn't seem to be much brighter than a night light. These new lights were probably 5 times as bright. Now it makes it so that I can use the switch on the fixture to only need one of the two lights most of the time. I'm very happy with them. They also were the same size and had the same hole pattern as the originals.

Great value replacement

Installed in a 2013 North Trail as a direct replacement for the factory incandescent lights. The frosted lenses do a great job disbursing the light. Unlike the original lights, these have a switch which allows you to run one side or both. Factory lights were simply on-off. I also like that these draw much less current than the old lights. All 5 worked perfectly right out of the box. I'll be picking up another 5 pack of these to do the rest of the trailer. Yup, there are actually 10 of these overhead lights in there.. plus a few "single" fixtures. I haven't decided on a replacement for them just yet. I'll update this review if any of them fail, but for now I highly recommend them!

Good light / value / easy install

Good light at a reasonable price I purchased the 5 pack, liked them and ordered 4 more to finish the job. Replaced old 12" fluorescent ceiling lights in an RV. The light is white but not that 'cold' / 'blue' white light feeling. For those complaining about light patterns -make sure you order the version with the frosted lens. I have zero light patterns from the lenses. . Units come with 4 screws and 2 wire nuts. I used my own due to padded ceiling and larger wires to connect to but what is supplied would be adequate in many circumstances. Also note there are 8 mounting holes if you need them for some reason. The outside 4 were plenty for my needs as the fixtures don't weigh very much. . Switch function is one side is off, middle position one light is on, other side both sides of light are on. For sanity I made sure to mount them all in the same position where pushing the switch towards the back of the trailer turns on both lights. But otherwise the units are symmetrical and could be mounted either way. . In my opinion these provide better light than the old fluorescent units, use less energy and are just slightly lower profile. The lenses come with a protective plastic to prevent scratches that you peel off upon installation. The lenses are flexible enough to insert the tabs to lock them in place but they generally have a nice solid feel and seem like they will stay in place well. I do not notice any flicker or radio interference. . I have not owned them long enough to speak for their longevity but so far I am very pleased with decent light at a very affordable price. They also shipped / arrived in a timely manner.

Exactly What I Wanted

The ceiling lights in my Class C RV were just not bright enough for me, so I wanted to upgrade to LEDs. Initially I bought a set of LED bulbs that I swapped out the incandescent 1141 lamps with. It did make an immediate difference, but it still wasn't as bright as I needed. I decided to buy this set of new fixtures, which include the dual LED panels. I liked the fact that the switch can operate either one light or both lights, so I could adjust the intensity of each fixture. The lights were very easy to install. I replaced the four ceiling lamps in my main living area in just over 1/2 hour. Wow - these are very bright lamps! Even if I just use one lamp per fixture,the inside of my RV is nice and bright. I like the color balance of the light, too. The LED bulbs I had purchased before were 6000k bright xenon white,which gave a harsh, cold light These fixtures are bright but much more natural and pleasant. I would absolutely recommend these for your camper or RV.

Love them

My wife and I love them! Loved them so much ordered another set of 5 the night we installed them! They are easy to install. And arrived well before the scheduled date! The wife told a friend and she turned around and ordered 2 sets. Great price and great product! Very highly recommend!

and look like they'll work well for a long time

Being the absolute most nitpicky I can be, the switches aren't as positive as they could be, they're a little sloppy. However, that being said, they're bright as hell, and look like they'll work well for a long time. I'm going to replace almost all of the lights in my RV with these, they're awesome for the price.

Lots of light and no funny patterns.

Replaced my old lights perfectly. It was exactly the same outside housings and the screw holes even lined up. Very light weight and easy to install. The leds give great light and let me feel at ease running them for hours with our thinking about my voltage level. I wanted the white lenses after reading reviews on the clear lenses causing funny patterns of light. The white lenses don’t put out any funny patterns and still gives out lots of lights. Great buy I 100% reccomend replacing your old lights with these.

Great for Replacing Incandescent Fixtures

I replaced all of the lights in my "vintage" (1984) RV with these. I had already replaced the bulbs in the original fixtures with LED panels but the light output was not great. These. Are. Awesome. Very bright and since they were designed as LED fixtures the light dispersion is much better than trying to install LED bulbs/panels in a fixture designed for incandescent bulbs. And I don't have to tell you about the power consumption advantage vs. incandescent. The color is perfect - not too blue, not too yellow.

Aftermarket led lights in rv

Aftermarket led lights in rv. These produce twice the lights my older incandescent was putting out.I have a 2010 keystone vr1 in need of better lighting. Not much details on these in reviews. First one side or both sides can be turned on by the switch. So its a low or high light. They replaced my old lighting with no problem. Size was almost exact to old light so no real marks on the ceiling. Wiring was the same as the old wiring and was 12 volt same as old ones.

Would buy again

The arrives on time and well packaged. It was an easy change over that anyone with basic wiring knowledge could perform. I like this set better then the ones that came ok n my trailer for the following reasons: •LED •3 Option switch •Brighter •Less heat •More energy efficient The only thing that I could possibly hold against this product at this point is as follows: •Could not find an exact match to the existing fixtures •Has enough places to put 8 screws, but only has 4 included •The switch has a bit of play in it rather, but not so much you can't feel a definitive stop detent for each position. Those petty things aside the new fixtures look and feel well made...time will tell. At this point I can say, "I'd buy it again."
