Fine product for fixtures with only one bulb....

This is an excellent product for outdoor porch lights that use a single bulb. Unfortunately I am going to return them. I have two long, narrow fixtures which take two bulbs each, one above the other. Due to the way the photo cell technology works, one bulb would cancel out the other and only one bulb would be on at a time. I considered going with just the top bulb in each fixture but that didn't really give me enough light. I think this is a great product but it just doesn't work for me.

Easy and Bright

These bulbs do exactly what they're supposed to do! Meets my outdoor lighting needs and easier than purchasing a smart lighting system and setting up an app. Light is bright yet soft.

Work exactly as advertised - great buy!

I purchased a package of three of these light-sensor bulbs to use in my front porch light and the two carriage lights on either side of my garage. They were just the same size as regular light bulbs (something I had had problems with before, as my light fixtures are not large and would not accommodate those curly light bulbs). They work exactly as anticipated - they have been coming on consistently when it gets dark, and go off as soon as the light is sufficient. Let me just add that since ordering these, I have received two communications from Minger just making sure I was pleased with my purchase. Minger, thanks for checking - I am completely satisfied and highly recommend these bulbs.

No more turning lights on and off! Works just like they should.

I can't believe I didn't know about lights like these! We were tired of remembering to turn on our exterior garage lights at night and making sure someone turned them off in the morning. So we were considering using smart bulbs on our detached garage to turn on at dusk/off at dawn, but the connection to our router wasn't strong enough. Then we thought about installing a switch with a timer. THESE ARE GREAT! No fancy technology, they simply turn on when it gets dark and off when it gets light. Perfect! We are using one in the "courtyard" area between our garage and house and even with another light somewhat nearby in the courtyard, this bulb still turns on at nighttime - no issues there. Would highly recommend!

Customer Service For A Lightbulb?!

I often forget to turn off the front porch light letting it suck up electricity during daylight hours. Looking for a dusk-to-dawn photo sensor gadget, I came across several brands of LED bulbs with self-contained sensors. My experience with LED bulbs has been mixed. Often the 50 billion-hour-lifetime-warranty bulbs would last a month. Although guaranteed, figuring out how to take advantage of that "guarantee" was impossible. So, with this order I just picked the cheaper selection, the Minger bulbs. I've never heard of them. I figured it was yet another seller of cheap Chinese manufactured junk coming from a source with no quality control. However, I was very surprised when the package arrived containing the order of three bulbs. Each bulb was packed in a cardboard box, not the flimsy paper boxes most bulbs come in and in each box was a card with full contact info for Minger customer service. What? I have never bought a light bulb with any sort of customer service information. The point is I am confident that if some or all of these don't last as long as promised, there is a way to contact the seller to get replacements. Try that with a GE bulb!

Great bulbs that just work

I typically don't write a lot of product reviews but I felt compelled to share since others may be looking for a solution like this. I needed to find a way to keep my house lit up as a deterrent to criminals without having to go around the house turning 4 different switches on and off every day. These bulbs fit the bill. I installed them in 4 of my front sconces yesterday and at dusk they all turned on simultaneously. They were much brighter than I expected which was a nice surprise. I would definitely recommend these bulbs especially at this price

Work well

This package of 3 was perfect for my house. One porch light by my front door and two lights by my garage, one on each side. The garage lights are far enough apart that the lights dont cancel each other out. Which I see some people are having problems with. All 3 of my lights are controlled by one switch. As far as I can tell they come on when they are supposed too. The porch light first since it's in a covered entry way. And then the garage. I haven't been able to see if the garage lights come on at the same time. Everytime I try and check it I miss them coming one. I know they are withing a few minutes at most. The only downside I've had with them is when I pull up into the drive way with headlights on they will go out sometimes. Once the headlights are turned off the bulb will come back on within seconds. So they are doing what they were made to do.

Great product!

These bulbs are great. I've tried a few other brands of this type of bulb and none work as well as Minger. I was skeptical because I have a deeply recessed front porch light that's also very shaded and other bulbs didn't work right - they flickered, stayed on all the time, or didn't come on at all. These bulbs come on at dusk and go off at dawn, just as they're supposed to do. The box indicates one bulb will last 22.8 years if on 3 hours per day - of course, it'll be on about 8-10 hours per day, but that means it'll still last a good number of years. I've used them in torrential rain and they work well; I imagine they'll be the same in the snow.

Perfect

I found it hard to believe that these dusk to dawn bulbs would work inside the recessed fixtures on my front porch but they do. The packaging is high quality as is the bulb itself. They work just as I had hoped-and I still don't totally understand how. Pretty cool.

Awesome LED Dusk To Dawn Bulbs!

Works better than expected! Comes on at dusk and turns off at dawn. Compares to a 60w Incandescent Bulb perfectly. Bulb came neatly packaged and has a quality look and feel to it. The burnishing is very clean giving the bulb a neat and clean appearance. Over the past few months my electric bill has grown to massive proportions. I'm now looking for ways to save a few bucks from month to month. I purchased these bulbs for my living room and basement. I keep a light on in the living room all the time, so I don't stumble in the dark when I get home from work. It's just an odd arrangement. I also keep a light on all the time in the basement for my cat. He will not go do his business in the dark. The basement light stays on all of the time anyways, because there's not sun light in the basement - I know, what was I thinking. Turns out, these bulbs work better than expected - despite my short comings. All in all, great purchase - great product. Love the look and design. Will buy more as needed.
