These are either really cool or we are just very easily amused
Bought two of these as stocking stuffers, and they ended up being, oddly, the most entertaining presents of the year. They spin for a long time, and if you get two of them going at once, it's very interesting. They don't immediately stop when they bump into each other; rather, they seem to dance and interact for a while. Tried them on different surfaces. On a game box, we had one of the tops stop spinning, but remain standing upright and perfectly balanced. It happened three times. We were blown away. I'm definitely going to buy a couple more. My husband wants one for his office. These are either really cool or we are just very easily amused. :)

Surprisingly easy to spin for a long time
I got this on a whim, after getting excited about Foreverspin tops. Since I am apparently now into spinning tops, despite being 49 years old, I thought it would be cool to keep one on my keychain, since it is so tiny, and has a hole in it just for that - and it's so inexpensive that I wouldn't care if it got banged up or I lost it. The pros: It is easier than the others to spin well. To be fair, I had practiced a lot with the other ones before I got this. However I am reliably able to spin this one longer than bigger, much heavier ones from the high-end manufacturer. It is machined and balanced well enough that it levels out and becomes so stable that it is silent and looks like it's not actually spinning (except you can't see the texture of the grip, so you know it is). The cons: It's small size and basic shape make it much less interesting to hold and feel in your hands than the more expensive ones. It is not quite as well balanced either - it starts to wobble slightly for about the last 10-20% of the spin. It's shape and smaller size also make it less interesting and relaxing to watch than the others, at least for me. Despite the better spin performance, I'm still keeping the bronze and titanium Foreverspins that I have, because they are just much cooler. This just spins for a long time and is super-portable. The others really provoke a conversation and get me excited to talk about them, with the different metals and how they feel, and look when spinning, etc. I'm still giving it 5 stars though, because despite all of the cons it's such a bargain that it would be silly not to get one if you are intrigued by spinning tops.

Great price and amazing self-balancing!

My personal best is just over 2 minutes
Ordered these as small gifts for my team at work - something to fidget with at their desks. These are very well built, and spin extremely well! My personal best is just over 2 minutes. The key chain holder is a cool bonus, too. Knowing there are supposedly better tops available for about triple the price, I wasn't sure how I'd feel about these. Very pleased with this purchase! Not for toddlers!! Way too small for any kid who still likes to stick things in their mouth.

Love this little spinning guy
Love this little spinning guy. Stay spinning for minutes, and you can carry it with your keys as other stuff with the key chain. Not bad for simple classic toy :)

High-grade spinner with premium finish for the price of a regular metal one
Probably the "highest-end" spinner I have is a Spin Me spinner, brass with gold electroplating - very cool, but pricey so far as spinners go. So when I saw this one that looked similar, was also gold-plated brass, but for around half the price, I had to get one and see if it measured up. The answer to that question is: not quite, in some categories, but in others it's darn close. First off, what's different? This spinner is about two-thirds the thickness and feels like about two-thirds the weight of the Spin Me, and while the Spin Me feels solid and hefty, this one has a weight that's a little heavier but generally on par with my other metal spinners. This can actually be a selling point for some people; while I like the extra heft, for other people who find those type of spinners too heavy, this one offers a premium finish at a lighter weight. Speaking of the finish, while it doesn't have the mirror polish of the other one, it has a nice, shiny gold finish that shows off the slightly brushed texture of the metal beneath. It's a uniform and well-applied finish throughout, with only one very tiny ding on one of the end-caps. When spun in the light, it gives a uniformly shiny, golden surface appearance. The caps are a little wider than normal for a metal spinner, which makes sense - as the seller mentioned, when I opened it up, there was clearly an R600-type sealed metal bearing installed, rather than the more common R188 semi-open bearings. The caps weren't as concave as I would have liked, but their extra width means that the spinner is comfortable and easy to control nonetheless. The bearing used is indeed smooth and quiet, one of the better ones I've seen, and the spinner is decently balanced when spinning with only a slight amount of jitter and a good, balanced gyroscopic effect. Spin time is about 30 seconds less than the Spin Me, but still far superior to most run-of-the-mill metal spinners. Machining is decent throughout, with uniformly smooth edges, and is obviously premium-class. Maybe it doesn't quite stack up against top-of-the-line spinners, but for a professional-looking spinner with high-grade fit and finish, this one's about impossible to beat for the price...

Better than the more expenseive options.
I have a super expensive $50 bronze top from the big brand name at home and then I also tried buying this one. It’s better than the more expensive stuff. Mainly, because the knurling on the top’s handle is so useful. Small enough to put on a keychain, and a great conversation starter. If you want a little piece to play with for the office, this is a quality product.

This tiny top is a hot!
This tiny top is a hot! Love this thing! I play it on a double concave Eisco Labs optical glass lens and it spins over 4 minutes with just a casual spin and if you put a little more effort into it it goes over 5. My record is 5'03".Expect to beat the seller record 5'34", i can get free product,haha.... Sometimes it looks like it's not spinning, but just standing straight up on it's point! It is tiny, and is perfect for that pocket fidget gadget. But I can't use this handle spin well like the product picture until now. I failed more times. I hope the seller can add some helpful information about the different spinning which make us more choices. Recommend this little spinning top! Also hope seller give some improvement about my concern.

Easiest to Spin for 4 Minutes and far Superior to Forever Spin
I have very expensive tops (Lambda from Prometheus Lights), and several Forever Spin tops, but this $10 top will spin for 4 minutes on a concave mirror every time. While I get longer spins (9 minutes) on my Prometheus Lambda tops, I never got close to the time of this little cheapo top with a Forever Spin. I regret ever purchasing the Forever Spin tops as they are a waste of money. Note that this top will scratch a Forever Spin Station, so use only on a concave mirror. This is a fantastic little top with a key chain - and has zero the frustration of Forever Spin. It cannot compete with Prometheus Lambda tops but it is less than 1/10 the cost.

Excellent - get it.
Works great. Attached to my key chain - comes out almost every time I take the kids to dinner. Contests between ensues. Machining isn't perfect - but good.
