So far it works well for my dog.

I have a fairly small dog. She stands about 15"-20" and is 22" long. Weighs about 16lbs. She fits in this seat comfortably, siting or laying. The belts do the trick and keep her in place as she SITS. Those that had complained that they're too small can just buy an extender made just for cars. Would add that extra length needed for their pet's size. I was surprised on how sturdy it was, going by reviews they were flimsy? Maybe their dog was too big for it, or replacement item was sent to them. Once I attached the seat-belt underneath and secured it tightly that seat DID NOT budge! Gives me peace of mind that she can't wobble back there and being my dog is a bit on the gentle/scared type she's comforted that she can see me and is tucked in (how she likes it). So far it works well for us.

Great booster seat!

My puppy kept crying and yelping when we took car rides. She would dig and tear up the inside of her soft-sided kennel and pace back in forth. I tried covering her kennel with a towel, but that only made her behavior worse. So I decided to try this booster seat instead. I thought maybe having her out in the open instead of in a kennel would help. It certainly has made a HUGE difference in the way she behaves in the car. I buckle her in the booster seat, and within 10 minutes, she's already sleeping. Wish I bought this earlier because she's sure to grow out of it within the next month!

How did I live without this?

I never thought I would be one of "those people" who bought their dog a car seat. But since the fateful car ride where my dog managed to have a butt gland leak AND throw up on my lap in the same trip, this has been a requirement for any car travel with her. Since the moment it arrived, she claimed it as her "throne" and loves riding in it. She's not small at 25+ lbs, but she fits well in this seat. It holds her high enough to see out of the window and is large enough for her to curl up and take a nap if she is waiting for us or coming home from the dog park (Bonus: put a towel in there and any mud or dirt doesn't get on the seat). It's easy to thread the seat belt underneath the cushion to secure the seat. The leash attachments are flimsy and probably wouldn't stop my dog from anything in the event of an accident, so i should probably replace them at some point. I would be willing to pay more for this seat if they were of higher quality - maybe that should be an option? They are helpful to keep her in the seat when I am driving or have to leave her in the car for a short time. I also love the fact that there is a lot less dog hair on my car seats. Tan upholstery + black dog = a car that looks awful. This purchase has been worth every penny - it's over a year old and still looks great. I compared this against the other seats of a similar size and chose it for the price as well as the fact it was made of foam and not with hard plastic pieces.

Great buy with small alterations for safety:)

First of all....I can't believe how quickly this came after I placed my order. I am unable to travel with my little guy in the car, so quick delivery was much appreciated. The box was pretty light, which surprised me, I expected a heavy box. The car seat arrived in perfect condition. The seat cushion is very thick and very comfortable for my little one. I will update once he has traveled in it for a period of time. He is an 8lb chihuahua and there is plenty of room in it for him. I also have a 14 lb jack Russell and there is no way this would be a good fit for her...way too small. If you have a small dog, this will fit the bill. You can't beat the price for the quality. Happy traveling from Angus the chihuahua:) Update.... Ok so Angus and I did a couple trips with his new seat. To install it take the seatbelt end and tip the car seat sideways and drop the seatbelt in. Your hand will not fit into the opening. It seems pretty secure once installed. I don't like that the harness is attached just behind the seat cushion. I do not see this as being very secure, if heaven forbid, you are in an accident. I purchased extra seat belt extensions and use it to better secure him. He seems happy in it once he got used to it...initially he jumped out and sat next to it..lol We are doing better now that he gets the hang of it:) I made a few alterations to better secure him, so I am very happy with this seat and would recommend it. I see so many people posting pictures of their dog sitting in their seat with the harness strap attached to their collar. PLEASE>>>PLEASE..... attach it to a harness they are wearing. If you have to stop suddenly, you do not want your little love to be strangled...we don't attach our seatbelt around our neck for a reason:))) Enjoy traveling safely with your four legged loves:)

Boston Terrier friendly!

My Boston is 19lbs and she fits great in this seat. She’s able to curl up or hang her head out. It also boosts her up so she can look out the window comfortably. The only negative thing I noticed is that the shirt little leash attached to the seat is not long enough for her to wear and stand up to look out of the window with the pillow inserted inside. The seat has zip closures so you can take them off and wash them. The seat is super soft! Glad I purchased this seat for my girl!

I ended up sending this back but not because it wasn't great. The quality is great and had she been smaller, we would have kept it. She could sit in it, but not lay down. She weighs 22 lbs.

It is perfect for our 8 lb

This is the second one I have bought. It is perfect for our 8 lb. poodle mix. I love that the seatbelt threads through a strap in the bottom of the seat and secures the seat firmly. The covers zip off for cleaning if necessary. I have no negatives....only time will tell if the styrofoam framework holds up.

Great Pet Booster Seat - YAY Amazon

My little chihuahua love her new seat! I know some others have said the sides are flimsy I did not find this the case so far yet with mine although my dog is very small only 3.5 lbs. I would imagine if larger dogs or multiple animals possibly maybe the sides would bend. She fits nicely and sturdy easy to use with existing seat belt. Fits snug in the front passenger seat of my Audi A4. Please see photos.

Lots of room!

Love it! My dog likes to try to get in my lap while I'm driving and even with the past cheap carseats he has had, he has tried to climb to get to my lap. With this one i kept it in the house a couple days so it would smell like us and he could get a feel for it and then we moved it to the car and he loves it! He almost fell asleep as soon as i picked him up and put him in it! It's really cozy and super fast to put in the car so i'd say it's pretty transferable. I also like that is has removable liners so we can always remove them and wash it! I like it a lot so far. Glad i spent the extra cash and got a quality one! Def recommend. He has lots of room to lay down and its a great height so he can look out the window while laying down. He is about 20 to 22 pounds and the seat itself in the car is sturdy! Doesn't rock around or anything. Great 😊

No more window goobers!

Me and my dog love this seat! Daisy loves the comfy material and being able to see out the window since she is small... I love that she can see out the window without standing and scratching the door and without putting nosey goobers all over the windows! When I run a quick errand she stays in her spot until I get back without jumping willy nilly over everything and anything in the car. This seat is safer for her, looks cute, and keeps my car clean. Win-win! This pet seat is a very good value!
